Morning Walk from Quiet Village up Sprawling Mountain Temple | Kurama, Japan 4K

Kurama is a small village alongside a river at the foot of a sprawling mountain temple complex. On this morning we start walking along the Kurama River with traditional Japanese houses on one side, and small gardens on the other. We take a look at the shops around the station before starting to climb the many stairs leading through Kurama Temple and finally to the Root Path.

There is a bit of rain along the way, and I was living dangerously walking without an umbrella, so there are a few times where I had to stop and seek shelter. There are also a few more cuts than usual as my gimbal and camera settings weren't ideal, sorry things are a bit shaky. Despite the technical issues I hope you enjoy this early fall walk in Kurama.
