How Much Money YouTube Paid Me After 1,000 Subscribers (First 90 Days Monetized)

Today I'm going to show you how much YouTube paid me after reaching 1,000 subscribers on my channel and being monetized for a full 90 days. And I'm actually going to do it with three different channels. I'm going to show you how much YouTube paid me on this channel that you're watching. I'm going to show you how much YouTube paid me on a channel that I started last year. And then I'm going to show you how much YouTube paid for my brother's channel that we just started 3 months ago. And I'm going to show you everything that it took to get there, the types of videos we made, kind of like the strategy behind how we did it. and I'm going to be showing you how much we made from YouTube and off of YouTube as well. Now, I just wanted to show you that November 10th was the very first day I ever got monetized and I made about $127 and it looks like the next day I made about $4.14. So, my very first day ever monetized, I kind of just showed a few days before just to show you that I was not monetized at that point, was November 10th, 2019, and I made a $127. And I thought that was the coolest thing ever because November 6th is my birthday. And what did I want for my birthday? I wanted to get monetized on YouTube. And what happened a few days later? Well, I got monetized. So, it was pretty awesome. And then you can see in the first three months I went from, let's see, November 10th all the way to February 10th, I made about $6,300 in that first 3month period. Now, on top of this, I was selling one-on-one coaching and I was doing affiliate links. And although I don't know the exact amount that I made from that, for one, at the time I wasn't actually tracking where my leads were coming from, but I knew that most of them were coming from YouTube because of the fact that I had a huge spike in coaching clients around that time. But overall, I do know that around that time I was making over $10,000 a month from my business and most of the leads for my business were coming in from YouTube, which was really awesome. So yeah, you can see here that, you know, I was making like a pretty tiny amount of money for a while and it went up to like $40 a day. That's, you know, I thought that was awesome. Like, oh my gosh, it went from, you know, $5 to $10 a day all the way up to like $40 a day. So here I was making like Starbucks money. I could buy myself like a Starbucks with the money I was making from YouTube, which I thought was pretty epic. And then around here, I I went to like dinner money, you know, I could like pay for a dinner for myself and maybe one of my friends or a date or something just with the money I was making from YouTube, which was pretty awesome, too. And then mid December, the channel absolutely took off and I got to the point where I was making about $313 a day, which was pretty freaking epic. And then it kind of slowed down a little bit, kind of uh plateaued, you know, still really nice. I was still making almost $100 a day just from AdSense alone. And I was making far far more than that from the affiliate marketing income as well as the coaching clients etc. But yeah, pretty good money. And the channel just took off from there. 5 years later, I'm making multiple six figures a month from the channel. All right, so now is my second channel that I started about a year ago. So the very first day this channel got monetized was about August 12th, 2024. And you can see that I made about 96 with the channel. And you can see that a few days in, I made about $5 with the channel. And I really didn't make much more than like a dollar or two every single day over this threemonth period. Now, why is that? Maybe you're thinking, "Oh, well, what you did back in 2019 doesn't work anymore cuz this was 2024, right? August 12th, 2024." And actually, this channel made far more than my main channel in the first 3 months. Now, why is that? because this is what's known as a B2B channel, meaning it's meant to attract business owners or people that are high up in companies that are decision makers. And those are the types of people that we're selling to. So with this channel, we're selling high ticket products. Some of the people that we sell, for instance, we sell them for six figure contracts on our services. And so we don't need to get that many views. And we certainly don't really care about how much money we're making from AdSense as well. So just as an example, in the last 48 hours, we've only gotten about 1,000 views. and it doesn't matter. So, just to give you some perspective with this channel, the first month after starting it, we made $30,000, right? We literally made $30,000 in the first month and we weren't even monetized yet. And we made almost all the money on back-end monetization. Why? Because there's not that many CEOs out there. There's not that many business owners out there. There's not that many executives that are decision makers high up in companies. And that is what this channel is designed to do is to reach those types of people. Now, I'll be honest with you. We haven't really been focusing on this channel as much lately. With that being said, the first month it made $30,000. Other months, we've had like $30,000 months as well. And the channel usually makes at least $10,000 a month, even though we are barely even focusing on it. So, yeah, this is designed to be more of a B2B channel. Just to give you a couple examples of other B2B channels that are absolutely crushing it, there's one channel we know of that basically sells solar contracts to other businesses and they get like almost no views. They only have around, I think, 700 subscribers and they make over $500,000 a year from the channel. There's another channel we know of that basically places a very specific position in the technology industry. This is a client of ours and they upload super basic videos. They're Loom style videos and they get maybe a 100red views per video if they're lucky and they made $2 million last year. And then there's a third channel that we've consulted with where they get about 500 to a,000 views per video on average and they made over $10 million last year again from their channel. So B2B channels and B TOC channels like the first channel that I showed you, my main channel is more of a B TOC or kind of like a mass market channel. A B TOC means business to consumer. So yeah, it's more of a mass market channel. Those channels make far less per 1,000 views or per view. But you could argue that they have more of a higher ceiling cuz you know there's only so many CEOs in the world, right? However, B2B channels might not get nearly as many views, but they do make much more money per 1,000 views. I hope this kind of changes the way that you look at YouTube. Because the truth is, it's not just as simple as, oh, this channel's getting views, they make money. This channel's not getting views, they don't make money. because I've seen influencers that have millions of subscribers that are broke. And I've also seen tiny channels that barely get any views at all that are absolutely crushing it because they're monetizing correctly on the back end. He's almost been on there for 3 months, but you can see here that he got monetized on June 23rd, 2025. So, he has not been monetized for 3 months yet, but it's pretty close. So, first day monetized, he went straight to $56. Wow. Now, my brother had the advantage of having me working directly with him and kind of consulting him and helping him build a channel. But the truth is, my brother is over 50 years old. He's not very tech-savvy and he basically came to me because he's been working in the trades for almost 30 years and he said, "Hey, listen. The trades are kind of hard on my body. I'm 50 now and I don't want to be doing this forever. You know, I'd like to be able to get out of the trades and make money in a different way. What do you recommend?" And of course, I told him. And he was kind of surprised by that because he's like, "Listen, I'm not techsavvy. I'm not good on camera. I don't even know how to use a camera. I've never used a camera in my entire life. I also don't think I have anything to share. And yeah, I just don't think I can do YouTube." And I told him, "No, no, no. You can definitely do YouTube if you do it the right way. And then we built his channel and we did it. Okay. So, $56 the first day monetized. Second day monetized, $153. Third day monetized, $214. And then around this time, unfortunately, he watched a video on YouTube from some random channel for some reason. I don't know why he did this, but he watched a video on YouTube and it told him that uh he should enable player for education. And then right after he did that, his views dropped. Okay, his views dropped like crazy and then around this time we did some stuff to basically rescue his views and then his views went back up. Now, additionally to this, he is making affiliate marketing money as well. Now, my brother owns a full-time business. He's also into investing. He also has a lot of different hobbies. He travels a lot, etc. He's actually went on two different trips that lasted a week in this time period. So, he's a very busy guy. So, he is not currently doing a lot of the back-end systems that I talk about when it comes to monetizing effectively. However, if he was doing those, I guarantee you he would be making well over 10, 20, even 30k per month by this point. With the affiliate systems uh that he's doing right now, we do expect him to make over $10,000 this month. You can see that currently he's, you know, $355, $447, $377, etc. Plus, he's getting a lot of affiliate sales from his links as well. So yeah, his channel uh growing a lot faster than mine, making way more money than my channel was at the same time, and I'm super happy for him. He's absolutely crushing it. And to be honest with you, it is way easier to grow and make money on YouTube now than it was back when I started in 2019. I mean, it is absolutely wide open now. Back in 2019, you had to know how to use a camera, you know, you had to know how like how lenses worked. You had to be way better at making content. You had to edit videos really well, like all kinds of stuff. You had to take a bunch of time to write scripts. And now I figured all of it out. I have a system for creating content. This is why I'm able to very regularly have channels blow up. People that I work with, people that I help, their channels blow up very quickly in many cases. And not only they getting views, but more importantly, they're actually making money from YouTube. And they're doing it much more quickly than what it took me. Cuz when you combine the right systems with AI, using AI the correct way, not only can you grow on YouTube very quickly, but you can do it without having to spend that much time. Right?
