This right here is the new Rave 3S AI Party speaker from our partner Soundcore
that makes listening to music more enjoyable with friends or family.
Wherever you bring the speaker is when the party starts.
And today, we're gonna be comparing it to the more expensive JBL Partybox Club 120
that's missing some major features like OneTouch AI voice removal, but more on that later.
Out of the box, the JBL simply comes with the speaker and the charging cable and that's it,
while the Soundcore Rave 3S comes with the speaker, the cable and actually two
microphones with batteries included and this is by far the best feature that the JBL simply
cannot compete with and the Soundcore is actually less expensive compared to the JBL.
Now summer is right around the corner and I can't wait to use this while going out camping
or at the beach playing our favorite tunes and on occasion using it for karaoke which
the Rave 3S is perfect for because it has the magic of the AI voice and vocal remover that
basically removes all the vocals from any track that you're playing so that you can use the
microphones to sing with it which is just awesome.
Now speaking of the microphones, they are completely wireless and they have really
great range. They also have multiple modes that you can switch through
on the mics themselves so you don't have to go and touch the speaker which is awesome
and you can use it for AI voice removal and you can change basically how loud
you want your voice to be which is really nice so take a listen to how great this feature works.
Dang that was crazy loud and the AI voice removal feature
worked amazingly well and it's awesome that it works on pretty much
any song and of course the JBL does not have this feature.
Now in terms of the speaker setup, the Soundcore Rave 3S puts out 200W of power
across a large 6.5-inch woofer and 3 full-range 2.5-inch drivers that actually have much better
mids and highs compared to the JBL which puts out 160W with two 5.25-inch woofers
and two 2.5-inch tweeters.
And I'm gonna do a sound comparison so you'll hear the difference for yourself
in just a minute.
Now both of these speakers have 12 hours of battery life which is great,
and they both also have features like AuraCast which can connect multiple speakers at once,
but the Soundcore has true wireless stereo support which is a lot nicer,
and lastly, what the JBL doesn't have is the dual mics, the AI vocal remover,
vocal enhancer and reverb control for the voice,
and both speakers are also IPX4 water resistant, so no worries about that.
And now with that said, let's get into our famous
sound comparison with a couple of different tracks using our professional Rode shotgun mic.
Here we go!
incredible, especially if you consider the price being lower on the Rave 3S.
Let me know your thoughts on which one sounded better down in the comments below!
On the outside, they both have a comfortable handle to move around easily, but the JBL
is about 3 lbs heavier than the Rave 3S.
On the back, they both have inputs for a guitar or a mic, and gain control for those inputs,
and of course, an auxiliary port.
The Soundcore Rave 3S has app control, where you can easily change the light setup with
its 26-plus beat-synced Hexaglow light show, and you can also customize your EQ as well.
On top of that, the Soundcore also has a bunch of extra features which the JBL doesn't
have, like vocal enhancement, reverb, and smart guide features, so that's a win for
the Soundcore.
And one last thing that the Rave 3S can do that the JBL can't is spatial audio support,
where you can place the speaker on the side, making it sound even better, so just take
a listen to this.
So with all of that said, the Rave 3S party speaker from Soundcore definitely one-ups
the JBL while costing less and getting all of those extras like the two mics in the box
compared to the JBL, and if you're interested in checking it out, I'll have links down
in the video description so you can get it right in time for summer so you can bust it
out and impress all your friends and family, especially with that AI voice removal karaoke
mode which is awesome.
So hopefully you enjoyed this comparison, and if you did, go ahead and subscribe above,
and we'll see you in the next one!
