And the UK Prime Minister will travel to Egypt for an international peace summit.
It's part of efforts to secure the ceasefire deal agreed for Gaza.
He'll be joined by several other world leaders, including US President Donald Trump and France's
President Emmanuel Macron.
Nick Martin has the latest.
Downing Street confirming that the Prime Minister will travel to the Egyptian resort of Sharm el-Sheikh
on Monday to join other world leaders for a signing ceremony for this much anticipated,
much talked about ceasefire deal, for this peace deal.
Also there will be Donald Trump and other leaders from nations like Egypt, of course,
Qatar, Turkey and other European nations, as well as the United Kingdom.
Now, the Prime Minister is expected to praise Donald Trump for being the main broker of
this deal, but will also urge a sort of faster movement towards the second phase, which Downing
Street say includes the dismantling of Hamas, a greater amount of humanitarian aid being
able to get into Gaza.
There are thousands of people currently not being able to have access to aid, but also
some kind of ceasefire monitoring group, as well as some kind of peace troops, peace forces.
And so the Prime Minister for the last few days talking about the importance of implementing
these phases because there is still a lot of anxiety and cautious optimism, I think,
towards this ceasefire.
It is fragile.
A lot can go wrong, but there is a lot to be optimistic about.
And of course, everybody hopes that this ceasefire will hold.
But it's a photo call on Monday that the Prime Minister will not want to have missed.
He'll want to stand shoulder to shoulder with Donald Trump and President Macron and all
those other leaders to take credit in a way for being part of this ceasefire.
Everybody of course hopes that it will hold and that this could be the beginning of an
end to two terrible years in that part of the world.
