80,000 Men Surrounded - The Disaster of Cannae (216 BC) DOCUMENTARY

In this history documentary series we bring to life the True Size of the Battle of Cannae between Rome and Carthage in the midst of the Second Punic War. The simulations were made possible thanks to Unreal Engine 5 and the support of Dr. Adrian Goldsworthy.

In part 1 we began with a review of the Roman and Carthaginian Army sizes and a reconstruction of the battlefield. Now in part 2 we simulate the unfolding of what would prove to be Rome's greatest defeat in history.
