Finishing The Square Body That Almost Never Got Finished | '73 C10 Build
Jeremy walks you through our '73 C10 square body build that's been years in the making. This Chevy C10 truck bounced around a few shops before landing with us, and the customer gave us a deadline to debut it at Dino's Get Down on November 14th and 15th.
This classic square body Chevy is all about keeping that original 1973 C10 look while upgrading everything underneath with modern performance. No jelly bean here, just a clean square body truck with grace and class and some serious horsepower hiding under the hood.
Build Specs:
LS3 engine swap with Texas Speed upgrades for extra horsepower. Holley management system. Porterbuilt front clip and rear clip with Airride chassis. Acuair air management system with ashtray flip down controller for easy presets. 16 inch Wilwood rotors with billet spindles. Smoothed firewall and custom headlight cover panels. Customer provided slush tubs for a clean square body engine bay.
Full trim square body C10 with AMD trim pieces. Double trim top and bottom for the two tone paint job. Chevy engine red accents throughout including emblems, badges, and valve covers. Chrome bumpers, original square body grille, LED marker lights. Custom Fat Fender Garage gas door that we remachined from a Ford floor door to fit this Chevy truck.
Magnaflow stainless steel exhaust system. Vintage Air AC unit. Dakota Digital gauges and Dakota Digital modules. Eddie Motorsports billet hood hinges. Square Body Syndicate door handles. Full sound deadening in the doors, floors, firewall, and back wall.
Custom subbox and speaker enclosure coming soon along with kick panels and custom door panels. Slush tub seats mounted super low per customer request. Raised bed floor with widened wheel tubs. Stock bumper and stock tail lights in the rear with LED bulbs for a traditional square body look.
This 1973 Chevy C10 square body is getting the full Fat Fender treatment with customer provided parts and our execution. Satin finish engine bay with gloss exterior paint, the way we like to build square body trucks. This bagged C10 is getting slammed on the ground and aired out for its debut at Dino's.
