Huge discounts I bought off some interesting dude and the box caught fire What? He's got some Cataloune, the carbon steel is good Oh my god I just ripped off the paint that was kind of bubbled What do you mean the box caught fire? So when it was in transit, the box caught fire Did it catch fire because of the battery? No I still didn't get a clear story to how the box caught fire And you still had to pay 1300 bucks For a bike that was literally on fire On fire And your glasses are on fire now too What a story Everybody knows fire makes everything faster So by that logic, this bike should absolutely haul ass A little dusty There's nothing like riding a trail for the first time Every corner is a mystery and that keeps the adrenaline flowing What the f**k Feels like I've got a lot of firsts ahead of me This island has world class riding in every direction And I can't wait to experience as much as I can It's been a warm welcome to my new home And I'm lucky to have such great people around me My baby boo is when the sun is shining She likes to make it and it ain't no pain Oh he's going boosty Do what you do That was a big fall Yeah buddy The ride ends like the best ones do With good friends, no rush And a soccer ball out of nowhere Feels like home already Lately, I've been thinking about what to build For my first woodworking project I settled on a garden sieve for this wagon A tool that'll be super useful both in the garden And for shaping bike jumps A sieve will help me sift through dirt It's been a while since I had the freedom to work With my power tools And I'm genuinely very excited to get back into it In high school, I was hooked on woodshop Taking every carpentry class I could It was a big hobby of mine That took me back to high school And I took a back seat once film took over I'm looking forward to building up my workshop But for now, my driveway works just fine Essentially, I'm just building a wooden frame To hold a metal screen We'll dump raw dirt into it To sift out rocks and impurities It's great for the garden Because it helps create healthier soil But it's also perfect for dirt jumps Because sifted dirt packs way better It's a simple, low-tech build But it should do the job just fine Oh no Thank you, Peter McKinnon For saving my lens The camera just fell over And the lens survived somehow However, I can't say the same about this Sony microphone and top handle That thing just snapped clean off Golden ribbon hanging out the top of the camera I'm gonna have to fix that now Hopefully I can fix it Because this is $800 But I did finish the garden sieve And I think it's gonna work Should we try to sieve something right now? Go for it, Breck Not bad It caught all the rocks Yeah That's good Maybe we should use it to go Make our first jump tonight I'd love to make more things But I've got so much crap to sort It's basically a mountain I wish the garage was ready to build out But first, I've gotta clear some space This is my first trailer Picked up off the side of the road for $300 I think it was a bargain We could put the shelving on here And take the shelving over to the container It seems smart Organizing and making space Is not particularly exciting We're diving into a slow, boring mess Nobody wants to see on video So I'm not gonna cover it We'll just skip to the fun parts But here's a small taste of what you'll be missing All right, let's open it up When's the last time you looked in here? These are not too bad I can probably do it on my own No pun intended But I'm definitely feeling a bit antsy To get this all done That said, good things take time So it's all about trusting the process And taking baby steps When we first moved in here We wondered if we would turn this into a house A lot of tiny homes Are made of containers these days But it's a little dank in there I don't know what a professional would say Someone who actually makes those types of homes I think a bike shop would be cool I think more than anything We need to just jump on top of this with a bike And jump off of it Now if people have suggested that That needs to happen Alright, well we're back in the... What we call the back 40 Where we're building jumps And it's about time we put some wheels on dirt And have fun back here I've got a flat tire What a way to start the sesh What a way And the plan is To see if we can abubaca One of these stumps back here I'm with the legend, Dylan Tremblay Who I literally grew up watching on TV This guy inspired a whole culture of mountain bikers Now we're pretty much neighbors And here we are riding in the backyard When he first showed me this I got excited right away I was like, I want to tap that I want to tap that There is a backup bike 2002 Specialized P3 I actually had one of these back in 2002 And exact same one Rode it on drop-in I was riding trails on it I was riding street I was riding dirt jumps Yeah, so it brings back a lot of memories I think there's actually I thought there was some lady Some picture of some girl on Oh yeah, right there Yeah Isn't that crazy Come on Specialized Alright, this is a cool hack Look at that Tie off the string line inside there If you got just a little bit more left Oh man, that's not bad at all Timber This feels so good I just It's kind of what I live for here Just finding random stuff In the woods, on the streets And shaping it Feel like a kid again So fun I'm a happy guy right now A little bit older but still Out here shaping dirt This is where your sifter Would come in handy Cause Oh, let's use it We're not building a Deer and bear claw lip And using every little piece of wood And pine cone One of the reasons I like to ride streets so much Is because it would just be me And the filmer And I'd get to ride more I'd get to session so much So I kind of got Stereotyped into being that street guy Without really realizing it Yeah, you've been the Abubakar Fufunu guy For decades now And mountain biking is my thing Oh, that's so cool If 12-year-old me Knew that one day He'd be in his own backyard Cutting the opening ribbon Before the first session With his TV hero He'd probably wet his pants But my pants are dry And I'm ready to Abubakar Well, actually We're gonna Fufunu But don't worry about it Oh, you're gonna get it This guy's got it I guess I kind of landed it But I know I can do better Time to empty the tank Yeah Well, I guess I can come back another day Might be it That was a freaking killer effort
