Making a 5 oz Solid Gold 2 Finger Ring (22k)

This ring has been one of my favorites to make of all time! I personally really love making 2 finger rings. They look amazing, they are audacious, and they are also a challenge for me in many ways. Add that to an amazing person to work with and you have a great formula. This was made with 5 oz of pure gold that I alloyed down to 22k. This piece was a tribute to my clients grandfather who was also a jeweler. The Viking ship engraved on the side was actually a portion of his logo for his jewelry shop. As I laid out that design and engraved it, I wondered about how he would have liked this ring. Jewelry with a purpose and connection to our lives is one of the reasons I enjoy making these one of a kind projects. Hopefully you guys enjoyed watching!
