📋 INGREDIENTS:
For the dough:
• 250 g butter (1 cup + 2 tbsp), softened, creamed
• 6 egg yolks
• 250 g sugar (1 ¼ cups)
• Grated peel of 1 lemon
• 200 g corn flour (1 ½ cups)
• Egg whites of 6 eggs, beaten stiffly

For the cream:
• 500 ml sour cream (2 cups)
• 6 eggs
• 200 g sugar (1 cup)
• 100 g ground almonds (1 cup)
• ¼ vanilla pod, finely crushed

For the casting:
• 150 g powdered sugar (1 ¼ cups), sifted
• 2–3 tablespoons lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
• optional: ½ tsp lemon zest, finely grated

For decoration:
• Candied or pickled fruits as desired
