Okay well now that we've got quite a few fence posts made as in here it's time we start putting a fence up. We've been making these now for weeks and weeks and we've now got our gate finished here a walking gate. We'll eventually do a new vehicle gate as well but for now we've got this and the fence is just cleared. The fence here we've got to work out how our fence posts are going to go. Start to dig some holes and get a fence up then we can continue with the chicken house and the plant gardens and make a big difference. It's just this section of fence alone so we better get into that. All I wanted to do is clear this area here for our fence Here it's about, what did I work out? 120 feet so 40 yeah 36 meters. Here it is and I've just got to decide whether to put the posts at three meters or four meters spacing. What we need to do then is dig some holes hopefully with the post digger, post hole digger. I might even have the guys install it tomorrow. I think four meters is enough because what I was sort of planning to do is put hollow block along in between each post. Now it'll be good to do that because then we can actually seal it. A couple of layers of hollow block and then we can tie down the a bit of tie wire under and tie down the wire to below the hollow block and that will stop any dogs from getting in. Good that we got our gate now so it'd be good to get our fence up and just secure this area. This is only a bit now that's sort of open. Of course we need another gate down there yet there's a lot more fence we need but anyway this is a good start. So just cutting out this big stump it's in the way of our fence here so we're hoping if once we cut through this with the chainsaw we can just knock it over with the barra here. Let's see if I can start it again. Oh we can give that to the chicken. And these are the rest of the concrete posts. So we're gonna do fence not the whole property but just near the house. Just to enclose these dogs, these naughty dogs. or later, four-thirty or so. Just going down to give Brown Law a hand. I think he might be down here breaking some grass and bringing it over to the chickens and just sort of show you what the guys have done. So this is our fence. We've done this over, they only work two or three days a week. So we've done these four sections here with cyclone wire. Now we need to put some barbed wire along the top of that, at least one string of that. We put these, I can't remember the name of these plants, they get the prickles and nice flowers on in here. But we've also put some climbing beans and something else. I just forget now. So Elmer's been planning that up today. So hopefully we'll have the beans coming up and climbing up the fence which will be good. And today the boys have finished the top layer of that one. I think we're only going to do up to that layer because that's enough. We're using too much of the brick. We've done this one so we've got a drop of two there, drop of three there, a drop of two here and not sure here. I think we're, you know, maybe it needs three. It is going to need three, yeah at least. All right, well that's all right. This one we've still got to construct a grate of some sort to stop the getting in and out through here because they will. This is our drain for water goes into our swale there. And then we've got two more. We'll probably chop that gemolina down I think and get rid of that and that one. You want to leave that probably. So we want to get them to complete this and then here, it's a bit of a bug having that string there, might have to move it. We'll do a section down to here and he's building a gate currently to go into there. So I was contemplating having a car gate vehicle access just to be able to get in to offload our sacks of feed into our feed house here. But we thought it's overkill to have another gate here when we've got one just down. We will end up having one just down here. So yeah, we'll put a normal gate in here and that allows us access to feed the goats and such over here. So anyway, that'll do for me now. I'm going to go and do a bit of raking up and hopefully get some grass over here to the chickens.
