Full Send 3D Archery Shoot | Tough Shots!

We are here at the ranch Julian well we're here shooting the ranches 3d we're at the YMCA Camp Marston. I'm here with Butt Knuckle right behind the camera everybody knows me obviously I'm the star of the show. Target number one we're shooting the hill course or the mountain course. So Butt Knuckle is actually Brett? Yes okay and if you've ever gone to Willow Creek you've seen him. Next time you see him you watch this video make sure you call him Butt Knuckle 10% off. Anyways I think that is a 12 ladies and gentlemen if we're counting but hey good thing about this shoot is for fun there's no score cards bring your buddies out here talk a lot of smack and uh if you get as lucky as me you'll be the best shooter in the group. So a little bit right kind of happy though kind of happy kind of happy with it first target of the All right well range finders are optional and recommended. What'd I get? What's my score? Three 10s. All three 10s. All three 10s and uh nice start boys. Looks like someone someone forgot to range it. Two yard skunk basic shot. Somebody missed the memo of a hunting 3D. 30 I got 30 yards so. Science says 32. Science says 32. But it's not right. It is what it is. Travis how was your shot? Uh I think I 12ed it again. Well I think I did too. Sounded good. Let's see what we got. All right looks like we got some more 10s. Yep we're all 10. Except me. I got a 12. All right we got a 57 yard bear. I'm gonna I'm gonna aim see where the line of the shadow is in the sun. That's top of the 10. I'm gonna like bury it right on that line. Oh wow. Way high. There you go. Perfect. Shoot one more. We're gonna shoot one more because you know what? We can't. You missed. I didn't miss. I just didn't go where. You missed the 12 guy. That's right. There's something to keep in mind when shooting with these crowd here. You need to you need to throw a couple or else they get so discouraged when when you're always in the center. You gotta let the babies have some fun too. Uh-huh. The kids play with their toys. Yeah so we could have fun huh. That's okay I'll let you guys have your fun. Check out the snow. Such a beautiful April morning. Southern California. See that like eight inch branch. Yeah. Looking at it with the naked eye it kind of disappears. Right. Yeah high right you got five just out of the eight. Tough shot huh. Tough. It's tough when you can't. It's brown. A little low. All right well if you pan to the the stake it uh it's seeing the armadillo at 147 yards. I told you the rangefinder was off. But I'm thinking this one is a uh it's a sub 20. Tell us what it is. What do you got? It's an armadillo at 17 17 yards. This is a loose target. Wow you got a hold of that one. Listen my 147 yard pin is money. A little right there Brett. You want me to hit your arrow? Do it. Split him. It's a cute little guy. I didn't really want to shoot him but the sign said I had to. All right we got a 35 yard chameleon here. I'm gonna arrange it just to be safe though huh. All right let's get the get the old trusty loophole out here. 35. Well never seen a chameleon this big but. All right. Of course. All right Travis is going to take a shot of the chameleon. How'd it feel? Where'd that go? All three of our arrows are all touching. All right well I uh I heeded advice but I didn't heed all of the advice. I was told to shoot between the elbows which is the first half of the advice. Where did uh? Second half was uh between the elbows but two inches up so. Where did I end up at? Somewhere on there I don't remember it's too far too far along. Okay. Happened too long ago. Forgot huh? Can't remember. Memory is fading. My memory is fuzzy. We're on target number nine. We got a raccoon uh the guys set this up but they're funny again. Put some ridiculous number on there. 20 yards. Did I turn it? Right in the center of the 12. Yeah he turned it 45 degrees. Let me go spin it. I don't want you to break on my arrow. Go pull it. Pull it? Pull it. Pull it or don't pull it? Pull it. Pull it? How's it look Brett? I turned again huh? Get a little spinner. What are we in Thailand? It's an eight. It's not right there. It's an eight. I hit the 12. Did you get my Thailand joke with the spinners? I got you. Keep that. All right. 4,263 yard raccoon. Uphill running. You get it? Got him. Well it was a line or eight on that there raccoon. Not my best work. Maybe I'll shoot it six more like Travis does. Get a better result. Now we got a caribou here but um it's a little dark. A little tough to see huh? It's uh actually really tough to see. We're in the sun. It's in the shade. What other excuse can I think of? Where'd that go? I think I got 10. Maybe. Maybe baby. Looked good. Sounded good. I think I'm right above you Travis. So would you say then I have a good shot? I would say you have a good shot yeah. Don't expect that very often. I don't even know where that was. Oh there's a branch right there. How did I hit that? I don't know. Way off. Got a 61 yard boar out here. Made a good shot. Might be a tad high. What did you shoot for Travis? Oh hit the arrows. Yeah you told me aim for those arrows. That's what I did. I got 32 in the range finder. Bobcat huh? 34 yard bobcat here. All right target 15. Uh 34 yard. We got one of those uh third scale elk targets. I think we're pretty close to the end aren't we? Yeah I think this might only have 17 targets on this one. Broke good. Felt good. 12. Arrows like that yeah. 12. You know what it's just so used to it now that it's just normal you know. Some guys hey hit the phone we got a five. Not for me. How'd Brett just shoot right there? 14. Nice. 14. He even hit a 10. That's an 8. That's a 10. Okay. Felt good. Tiny elk. Looks like senior knuckle. Barely squeaked out a 10. We all got 10s though huh? 10. Well I mean if you want a better 10 look no further than my arrow or Ryan's arrow. Yeah please show me the scorecard. Show me the scorecard where you're in the lead. Just to clarify there's no scorecard today. Yeah we are not keeping score. This is a non-scoring shoot even though we are really still competitive. And uh you know what if we were keeping score 100% I'm in the lead. I'd be ahead. Easy. No he wouldn't. I'd be ahead by 15. Kicking his ass and he has a target bow. Is that woodchuck chucking wood anymore? No he's up chucking. He's up chucking. See that vein? Coming off. But hold on. Oh that's nice. Perfect. Just a skosh high. All right we got ourselves a woodchuck out there. He's been real busy today. A lot of work been putting in. 35 yards is where he's decided to take a break at. See if we can uh you know just send him off. If I miss I think he just gets real upset. He charges us. I want to thank Travis with San Diego Muleys as well as the ranch. Chris, all of them out there for putting on this shoot. It's fun to get the community involved. I know they reached out to a couple of the local shops. Little Cougar Tree, Bow and Arrow Shop, Performance Archery. So it's good to have a collective and bring everyone together. They can all shoot and have some fun and everybody can enjoy the sport of archery. They set up three awesome courses. Spent a couple months getting this all together and it shows this is one heck of a nice tournament. It was actual hunting conditions, tough shots, nothing really out in the open. Made you work for it and do what you had to do. So hats off to these guys. They did one hell of a job. We're having a blast. This was a great shoot. Really really challenging targets. I got a pig. The range finder's saying 41 or 40, 40 and a half. Yeah these guys were not making it up. This is a tough shot to see. Got boom. Felt good. Let's see what it looks like when we get down there.
