Good morning, good morning, good morning, and hello from Colorado.
Good morning, how are you guys doing today?
Today is May 11th and I'm off of work today because I had COVID for two weeks and I'm
still in isolation until Friday but I am feeling better now.
I still have congestion, chest congestion, cough, and stuffy and runny nose sometimes
but I don't have any more fever, I don't have shortness of breath, chest pain, and things
like that.
I still have a hard time to get some sleep at night because my cough is worse at night
especially when I'm laying down.
It is a very productive time here at home even though I'm on isolation and I'm not feeling
well.
I have done a lot of stuff like taking care of some stuff for my business and just clean
up the house for a little bit.
That's it.
I'm glad that everything is over, not completely over but on Sunday I'll be able to go back
to work because I need to go to work.
I need to get out of the house and do something.
Anyway, me staying here at home actually gives me time to browse through my videos, make
vlogs, which I love doing so it's a win-win situation.
For now, I'm off COVID, I'm happy, and let's eat breakfast!
So here's what I'm having for breakfast, just a typical Filipino thing.
It is a rice with corned beef, fried egg, I have kimchi right here.
You're wondering what is this for?
This is for this.
Look, put it right here, turn my camera, voila!
That is my makeshift tripod right there.
We have so, so much catching up to do.
December of 2020 when we moved here in Colorado Springs from Washington State, we bought this
house remotely and if you look up over here or right here, if you're gonna check right
over here on the top, I will post the video of how we bought our house remotely from Washington
and then our realtor, Vanessa, she's very nice, very, really good realtor, very patient
with us in finding our home and everything worked out.
When we moved here, I thought Colorado will be look like this, beautiful, nice, but actually
Colorado look like this.
When we moved here, we don't have our household goods yet for 10 days, our household goods
came, too bad for the movers that they have to do it on the snowy days, but thankfully
we don't have to go through that one because our army is the one who's moving us in.
Of course, as part of first time homeowner or homebuyers to check the house and do some
improvements, we actually changed this chandelier over here and right here by the door.
We changed all those light fixture, also if you remember when we first moved over here,
we checked the back, all the back part of the house is full of rocks, but right now
we hired someone that we found from Facebook and they did really good at putting walkways.
It is actually enjoyable now to walk on this side of the house and also putting a patio
at the back of our house.
The home improvement that I really enjoyed a lot is putting this patio up.
I wish that we have a covered patio, but I think it's not worth it because this is not
going to be our forever home.
I bought this umbrella last year, but not a good investment actually because our area
here in Colorado is so freaking windy, very, very windy and it happened probably twice
or three times that I put up this umbrella and it got blown by the wind.
These are hybrid willow trees that I ordered from Amazon and what I'm going to do with
this is plant them around my backyard for privacy.
I bought this from Amazon as a little twig and now it's nice and growing.
I hope that it will grow taller than our fence.
