[Music] [Music] so [Music] it's three in the morning woke up to some sounds realize we've got a visitor somewhere you see the toilet paper is getting chewed through so now we're mouse hunting so after pulling everything out the back of the truck we're both absolutely exhausted to try and find whatever it is that's got in which we believe is a mouse i've ended up going into the back and taking any packet food we had out and checking that the only other thing that we can do or i'll just have to wait till the morning is uh take all of these off take the drawers out and give it a really damn good clean [Music] not really what you expect to be doing at three o'clock in the morning mouse hunting oh the joys of truck life [Music] so we've already taken everything out the back giving it a good clean and put it back in it's now quarter to four in the morning and the little bugger is still in here because he's just had another chew of my toilet paper or of the toilet paper but we can't find him [Music] so as you can see we're taking everything out the back of the truck sorry about the sun and we're not using a mic we're just doing this offer off the camera phone just to give you an idea of what we go through in the truck life so we're taking everything apart we're going to give everything a deep clean fortunately it's beautiful weather and where we've camped we've camped by a river with lots of trees and a shade or a little bit of shade so there you go everything is still out we've gone through andrea's just finished cleaning the windows i haven't made a particularly good job though i can't get the water marks off from the outside well sometimes those are i need to get them right away there's a bit tough and with the sun beating down it takes a little longer i've just gone through and tightened all the screws around the windows the majority of them are loose andrea's going to do her new favorite thing of siliconing yeah prevention is better than cure so we don't know where the water was leaking in but we thought while we've got everything out and cleaning it i'm gonna just silicon up underneath here just in case just in case that's where the water is coming in because we do know that it's been pooling at the sides and we haven't had any bad weather for quite some time now so you know like a pro very attractive at this angle you see right out my nose now comes the task of mopping with disinfectant okay round one of mopping up the tailgate and the bed of the pickup is done we're gonna let this dry and then we're gonna tackle it again so we got some disinfectant the waters we just both we're in here scrubbing down once each side at a time because there's also this pocket here it used to be uh we heard there was like auxiliary power and stuff back here it's not in in this one but as you can see up in the top and down below dust is coming through there majorly so i've been spending the last five minutes scrubbing that out trying to get as much dust as possible clean out the rags get some new water more disinfectant after this dries for a few minutes and go back to round two tea break so while we're waiting for the truck to dry having a nice cup of tea and it's nice we uh now kind of realized how much the back smelled like dust so now that we have an actual disinfectant and a cleaner in the racks that we were wiping out of there were pretty dark afterwards so very dusty it was very dusty a lot more dusty than we thought so it is smelling clean which is good so that's why i give it a few minutes to air out do another round and uh that should be good and then we'll start uh putting the things away but disinfecting everything because we don't know we never did found the mice we only found one mouse dropping um but obviously we heard it and it did chew up the toilet paper uh and a bag of nuts that i had in the back for my midnight snack so there you go so the truck is now clean disinfected and now we are going to or rather stephen is going to put the base back in and then we will have the drawers i am going to clean out the drawers and disinfect the drawers and also we are doesn't look very attractive but you know needs must to try and stop the dirt coming in we've patched up holes where dust is coming in so as i said doesn't look too fantastic but it serves a purpose uh you just have to make do with what you've got especially when you're out in the middle of nowhere what have you got to say for yourself stevie um i'm looking forward to getting some goo gone cleaning that up we'll find some some better tape and then also this will be the test because i'm going to redo the seal along the tailgate we've got some new sealant sticker so hopefully that'll help prevent a lot of the dust coming in and then also so looking forward to getting a new topper we just are we're just fantasizing about getting that project in so uh hopefully let's get a hundred thousand subscribers so we can get one [Applause] the third round of cleaning is done so the majority of the drawers are back in we're not putting the actual drawers back in yet and we found a couple more spots to you know put some more seal in a few places so the drawers are still out here on the the table we're gonna go through that we're just gonna go through everything and we're also i'm shouting because we're not using the mics also we're going to re-go through our clothes because even though this is all we have in our clothes apart from our winter coats and hats we still don't wear some of these so we're going to go through them again and donate anything that we haven't used since we've been gone there it is the donate bag [Applause] size comparison yeah it's not that big but it's everything that we haven't worn since we've been on the road this is about the sixth or seventh time we've gone through our clothes and got rid of stuff well not just our clothes but stuff in general and then things wear out and [Applause] break rip tear what have you so i'm sure uh another three four months i'll be doing the next round so apart from our hoodies and our winter coats [Music] that is our whole wardrobe combined including some winter jumpers underwear uh socks uh obviously that's underwear t-shirts jumpers trousers shorts that's it for two people so it's now half past four in the afternoon we've been cleaning tonto all day cleaned everything got rid of some more clothes re-jiggled everything we even put some more sealant around the uh the topper and the tailgate the tailgate uh to help with dust and now we're gonna jump in the stream because we're hot bothered and dirty let's go oh boy oh that is really cold oh oh that's nice that we've had a refreshing dip it is time to take a shower since we don't have biodegradable shampoo we are about i'd say 25 to 30 feet away from the water so that it doesn't run in contaminate or anything like that so now it's time to take our clothes off but you're not invited [Music] you
