Magical Mondays #142 - Home Vlog #2 - Redoing My Office and Dale Finally Watches the Mandalorian

hey guys this is Jenna with resort tv1 and today we're doing another home vlog so um I actually took a couple clips yesterday this is Saturday so on Friday Dale and I took a couple clips putting together a new bookshelf unit thing that um now I have here in my office behind me so I'll go ahead and put those clips in now so you can see what we did and and what it became in my new office well old office with new things so we also have a live stream planned with Myers in the mouse for trivia today which is Saturday I can't wait for that and Dale is doing some home improvement stuff DIY which I'll show you but yeah we are excited for another home vlog during this quarantine time so I hope you guys are staying safe and hope you enjoy the video all right so we are going to redo part of my office so right now I have my desk right here and during the livestream as I turn it around over here to show my bookshelf but we also bought a new bookcase to fit along the back wall here it's it can either stand tall like this one or lean on its side and be long long ways so we're gonna do the long ways and so I can spread out more of my things over here and I have some lounge fly bags I might display and then I have some pictures that we just got frames for that I'm gonna hang here along with my pin board that I just put together um so yeah thought I'd give you a little look before we put the bookcase up I did measure it so hopefully it does fit but yeah we'll see once we get it out and put together so we're getting it out of the box starting to put it together here all right we finished it I like I'm glad we went with white because it lightens up the room but yeah I could fit eight bags in there okay just kidding I'm gonna put other things but maybe a couple bags we'll see yeah Chloe's checking out the closet yeah 20 on the bag maybe so but I also have other things I want to put in there and then maybe hang the pictures we also had an idea for shelves for my little wish opposed yeah we're not complete yet but I'm excited about this that's awesome all right so it is an XJ um and I have my new bookcase here at Saturday morning and eventually I'm going to fill it up decorate it put my things in the bookcase and then get some of my pictures hung and my pin board over here and just yeah figure out how I want to display my things in there um probably take some of the things from over here cuz it's pretty full but yeah first we have a Publix grocery pickup that we're gonna go do and then we need to get those all put away and then we're gonna be on a live stream with our friends Myers in the mouse while we're playing trivia with them today so definitely go check out our good friends Myers in the mouse channel Dale is uh fixing our ice maker it broke about what month or so ago probably when the quarantine started and I like my ice especially living here in Florida it's hot and I like cold cold water so Dale is going to he ordered a whole new ice maker or just a part maker so the whole new ice maker see if he can get a fix he's watching a YouTube video alright we just got done with the live stream with Myers in the mouse go check them out like I said they have an awesome Channel great friends of ours and we had so much fun playing trivia Disney trivia with them so now it's time to pick my ears for the day for Instagram so if you're not following us on Instagram again go follow resort TV one every day since Disney has been closed I have been posting an ear picture so a different picture with a different pair of ears on on our Instagram story so you want to make sure you're following us Resort TV one on Instagram to check out which ear I'm wearing that day tails out there vlogging to his friends I can't vlog because he's talking to his friend honest Marco Polo app I randomly hear I'm talking and that's what he's doing out there so as you guys saw in the opening video I picked these ears so these are the magic mirror ears from last summer I believe they were released um so I love these so much they're super sparkly I thought they went great with this Mickey Mouse shirt that I had on today with little sparkles all over Mickey but I also wear these on Meijer in the mouse trivia a live stream that we were on and Mama Mouse had the same pair of ears on so it's pretty cool so yeah yours for today so this is the current situation in our kitchen right now Dale is trying to figure out how to re do our ice maker or put in a new ice maker I'm not really sure but hopefully he can figure it out they said it's gonna be a lot more complicated than he thought so one thing I've started doing while we've been in quarantine I miss my Starbucks I've been making an iced coffee and it's not too bad actually of course it's cheaper than Disney but our Disney of course cheaper than Disney and Starbucks but we have a setting we have the ninja coffeemaker which I'll show you here in a minute but does have a setting where you can make it over ice so I figured out you know how much coffee to use and milk and ice and yeah turned out it's pretty yummy also check out Dale's hair so Dale thought he'd do something different for Myers in the mouse's a live stream and he was going for the ace Ventura's Bregan he did shave his Quarantine beard so I was pretty happy about that also we have coffee so we were out of coffee and I ordered it on Amazon and all they had were a sick they just had a six-pack but actually ended up being cheaper so ended up being like 480 a bag instead of like $6 or more aback so going Amazon miss Chloe also wanted to say hi she said we were talking to mommy I'm talking to everybody on the Internet Chloe you want to say hi to all the resort hoppers say hi resort hoppers should are like I actually finished another puzzle so I don't know if you remember from the last home vlog I did Thomas Kinkade and it was the Minnie and Mickey one in Hawaii so over the last week or two I did the snow white one I mean it took a while because of all the there's a lot of stonework you know on the ground here in the wishing well the stairs the building so that was a little hard but it was fun I liked it so I have two more in this box I have Minnie and Mickey in Paris and Pocahontas I'm not sure which one I'll do next but we're gonna pick one to do after this one I like to leave it up for at least a day or two to enjoy it's so pretty another thing Dale and I did was put this some frame well we didn't put the frame together we got the frame as a Christmas present and finally put pictures in it and a little Seine so we got this from Dale's sister and brother-in-law and yeah so we thought it would be fun to make it kind of an up theme so we did venture is out there and then I got these two pins in a pack from magic out your door if you guys missed that make sure you go back and check out that unboxing video video and then we did pictures from all of our adventures that we've had together just thought it would be fun to look at reminisce since you know I can't go on and on any adventures right now we're all at home but that's okay it was fun to look back over these adventures so this was muir woods near san francisco this is Bixby bridge off the 101 or no not the 101 the one highway one in California beautiful beautiful this I forget this was in California somewhere I can't remember exactly I was about an hour from where we lived in the Central Coast and the yellow there in the field and the mountains and everything were flowers wildflowers that would bloom during the springtime just gorgeous I wish I would have logged that but we weren't vlogging then and this was a at a winery that we are at we played frisbee golf and this is when we lived in California we celebrated mr. Chloe's birthday at the beach this is from this year we did some Christmas pictures there sorry for the glare at Disney springs and then the Grand Canyon Sierra if you can see Little Miss Chloe's tailing another the whole family so I've started displaying a few things put my picture here from t Murray photography and this frame we just ordered from Walmart put my Thomas Kinkade in a frame I've had this for years before Dale and I were married I got this one and my stitch picture from Heather Springer this is the diamond art that she did for me so now I just have to figure out how I want to display them up here we'll see so Dale had an idea we had these shelves from Indiana actually and they are they have a like a lip on the front if you can see so they're great for putting my little wisher bowls on there's two shots here so here is the space here but we're gonna maybe put them together and put them like right here so you can see them while I'm doing my live streams our home videos but I want them white I think to match the rest of my shelving unit here so I think Dale's gonna go paint the shelves since our ice maker hasn't been working we found my old Mickey ice cube tray luckily we had that because we had no other ice cube tray so we've been now being Mickey ice cubes which is kind of fun so here's the first coat on the bookshelves deals just you Xena spray-paint so he's gonna have to do another coat and then turn him over and do the other side she is she says come on let me thank Earl can't go potty now he makes it outside for a little bit it's not hot it's not raining Dale's taking a nap at almost 8 o'clock like so maybe he's just going to sleep for the night I'm not sure he was tired so it is the next morning sunday morning and Miss Chloe got her eyes cleaned so we have to do this every once in a while she gets those little goo pees but and she doesn't like it but she gets a treat so it's ok it's alright so jl printed off took some pictures printed off some of the posters from f hat and put them on like a little styrofoam thing I'm not exactly sure and yeah I think I'm gonna put them up on my office sorry for the glare but yeah he printed four different ones for me as you can tell they're not super big so I'll be good give me more room but here's world of motion I love that right oh my goodness I miss it good morning guys so again it is Sunday morning mr. Chloe is like I'm not ready to wake up yet Chloe and I are chilling here on the couch but I thought I'd tell you what we ended up doing the rest of the night last night so yeah I was sitting outside for a little bit with Chloe while Dan was taking his nap but then he woke up and he was printing off some of those pictures that I showed you earlier for me so now he's finishing him up putting him on that little backing and if you hear something it's the yeah-oh washing machine and doing some laundry but anyways so then last night while he was doing that I was flipping through Disney Plus just to see you know what else I haven't seen or different things like that so I went to the search menu and I found a thing for Mickey so I clicked it and it was all the it had tons of Mickey cartoons of course but it had the Disney or the Mickey shorts which I'd never seen before so the one so the Mickey the same one that runaway railway you know the animation from that one is the same from these shorts Mickey shorts so I thought well hey I'm gonna check these out I've never seen him before I saw a couple there at Hollywood now they have a Mickey shorts there which is really cool but yeah so some of the posters that are in the queue in the line for Mickey and Minnie's runaway railway are actually shorts which I didn't know I know you guys probably knew that but I didn't watch any of them so yeah I watch they're only like 3 to 4 minutes long something like that so very short very cute so yeah I think we got or I got through like six or seven of them Dale watch two of them with me so yeah pretty cool if you guys haven't checked them out there on Disney plus I just filmed my ending clip for that because I forgot to when we were on vacation so put on some ears and now I have to add it to my California video and then probably added some pictures if I can find them and or maybe just some nice little ending music with some some nice views we'll see but anyways that will be on magical Monday this Monday but you'll probably see this after that so if you guys missed our california vlogs definitely go back and check them out I know it's different than Disney but the scenery there is amazing and we had a lot of fun so all right let's get to editing so we just did a tick-tock four day I'll hopefully it worked out or we could we can do it again I didn't get it quick enough the setup he had over there but it was pretty cool you'll see you got the tick-tock so go follow dale dale RVT Monica mm-hmm and also tell me what you thought of the mandalorian we watched that last night it was my second time seeing the first episode I've not seen him all the way through yet I think I have two more to go and I've been trying to get him to watch there with me for a while finally he agreed I know he knows don't know how well he paid attention but he was there yep it was it it was pretty good it started off a little bit slow but I'm sure it's because they were trying to figure out the storyline or let everybody know what the storyline is so yeah overall I think it was it was fairly well and they I think I watched some of the others good yay maybe Oh what don't backpedal I think there's only what seven episodes eight so it's not bad and they're only like 40 years okay 45 minutes each and then they're coming out with you know more episodes this fall I believe unless they're making them come out sooner I'm not really sure but so yeah you enjoyed it yeah I think so gotta watch another one I mean there's other stuff I'd rather watch but uh we don't watch a lot of things together we dance one thing we can watch together it's action which I don't mind it I mean it does stress me out a little bit but it's not real because it's Star Wars so it doesn't stress me out as much you know and I doesn't make sense I don't know but anyways what do you think of the Mickey shorts the Mickey shorts I wasn't the biggest fan of those just because of the way the graphics and everything was done I couldn't figure out it was from the 50s or if it was new it was new but it looked like it was the 50s I think they tried too hard that's my opinion I think they tried too hard but they were funny yeah the story line for good yeah the story lines were good I like that but as far as the graphics everything else they could have been done better not your favorite okay cool hey guys so it is now Monday we had a great weekend but just a lot going on so I wasn't able to vlog a lot yesterday um so we were on a livestream for it's Joey's world for Joey it was his birthday yesterday so we were on his livestream celebrating his birthday we did a really fun scavenger hunt and just hung out it was so much fun and then after that we celebrated another birthday one of our friends Chris my friends Maria and Chris with like Buena visitors it was Chris's birthday last week so we celebrated with them virtually of course online we had like a little online party well FaceTime or whatever you want to call it and yeah we had a lot of fun so just didn't get to blog a lot of it but yeah so today's Monday and pretty much what I've been doing is editing my video for today because I didn't get time yesterday since it was so busy so I got the magical mondays video ready for today and yeah it just got it uploaded in it's four o'clock and the premiere is at 7 o'clock 7 p.m. tonight so I cannot wait for the premiere tonight it's gonna be so fun it's from our California vlog the vacation that we took back in August so I hope you guys are enjoying the California videos again I know they're a little bit different but if you didn't see them before go back and check them out because we had a lot of fun in California it's beautiful out there and you get to see what Dale and I did on vacation so yeah also deal I showed you the world of motion one but he made well printed all of these pictures for me he took him with our samsung phone and printed them on our computer and then he put a backing on them of this but um so that they stick out a little bit more from the wall so we have world of motion horizons and these are from the Epcot experience if you've not been in there yet they have posters of like all the old rides or current rides things to come like this one this building so yeah I'm excited I think we're gonna hang them up here on my wall I have my pen board to hang up there possibly this picture like I showed yesterday and my two others and then we're gonna try to get some skinny well we have some Dale's painting them I showed you for the little the shelves the little skinny shelves to put a lot of my wish bowls on so yeah so then they'll be behind me back here while we do our home streams which we've been doing lately obviously because you know we are want to stay at home order but anyways I wanted to show you those awesome pictures Dale made for me so a little Miss Chloe likes to hang out in here while I'm in my office she likes the soft carpet don't check that we it's nice and comfy with why are you videoing me mommy mm-hmm do you want to go outside Chloe Chloe pseudo thrown away cup Chloe oh two requests I mean yeah let's go side let's go outside let's go also deal fixed ice machine and I am so excited so check it out I can ice again I'm so excited time to make some dinner right miss Chloe be ready for dinner mm-hmm so we are making quesadillas and a lot of times instead of ground beef we like to use ground turkey because it's healthier for you and just something different to switch it up from ground beef so we bought some of this at Publix and frying up the ground turkey put in the taco seasoning and we're gonna make some quesadillas so it is all fried up and put in my taco seasoning we just used whatever kinds cheaper I think got the Walmart brand right now great value and I always do like 1/2 to 3/4 of the pouch because I don't like it super spicy and I even use the mild kind too but yeah add our water in 3/4 a cup of water mix it all together and get this ready to go in the quesadillas I know a lot of people put chicken or just two cheese quesadillas but I like you know ground beef or the ground turkey it's it's actually really good in there the meat is sizzling smells really really good and so now we just use the soft taco shells and I add a little bit of butter so that it Browns it up really nice I'm going to put the butter on put it in here at our cheese and the meat Dale likes to add other things to it like I don't even know different seasonings because he likes it a bit spicier than I do but yeah I'm gonna make some quesadillas I cannot wait they smell good added the cheese and it's melting my turkey and ya have a quesadilla can't wait it's almost done I know this is not how most people make quesadillas so I don't know if I can even call it a quesadilla but be just like a fried taco I don't know what up we call them quesadillas and this is how I do them because we like different things in ours so I make one for Dale and one for me and we're good to go cuz I just like meeting the cheese yeah that's nice really good I can't wait cut it in half and we're good to go looks good it smells good time to eat so the premiere went well and now little Missy needs a cot site so here we go it's a very nice night tonight [Music] Chloe was that fireworks sounded like it definitely not Disney since they're not open what are you doing you playing in our last Publix order that we made I saw these and I'm like oh man we gotta have these you know missing Disney they have a couple of those so they have the ice cream sandwiches they also have the ice cream the Mickey ice cream bars I actually prefer these over the Mickey bars so I'm so excited when they came out with these and they never have them at Walmart they didn't have a Publix I cannot wait to try them see if they're as good as the ones in the park so they are the same with the chocolate cookie and the cookies and cream ice cream like in the parks but it is smaller than the one in the parks which I kind of thought it might be just because they're you know they're cheaper for the box they have to make them cheaper to sell them to the masses but um anyways yeah can't wait to give it a try so cute all right I'm ready give it a try so I am lactose intolerant so I did have to take a supplement for it but you know we're at home so thought this is good time to try it right mm-hmm oh it smelling quick mmm very similar to the ones in the park yeah I'm so excited so we'll go and we found him at Publix yay somebody wants some amaya ice cream sandwich sorry baby girl just got chocolate in it you're gonna make no huh all right guys why hope you enjoyed checking out our home vlog from Saturday Sunday and a little bit today from Monday so we had a lot going on it was a lot of fun a good job to do for fixing the ice machine that was my biggest accomplishment that was amazing and I am so excited for ice again in that ice trays right yeah I mean the Mickey ice was cute and all but it got annoying yes yep when you're used to the ice coming right out of the fridge but it hope you guys
