very special co-host today you know your co-hosting now I do ladies and gentlemen last time you planned on being here you got sick are you feeling better feel much better are you the kind of person when you're sick you're like baby most men are that need they taken care of complain about everything no not so much um I I I I I own the pain internally you own the pain internally yes still talking and while I'm sfe yeah yeah thank you thank you you just saw your friend Steve Edwards over at Good Day LA I did I did he's amazing he is amazing he really dressed up for you I should have put a text on well when I left my house and I saw him live on TV he had no bow tie he put a bow tie on when I got there he had a bow tie who how special I feel no he's he's he's a special guat when was the first time you met uh 1933 oh really what was um was involved performance no um I met when I was interviewing for uh for red oh okay yeah my not not not not not my first one but the first one that came out and um and he just couldn't been nicer and uh he he's always he's always been a friend and a what we call a Pros Pro you know a Pros Pro that's much different than something else hey now you went there didn't you well I always went there that's the problem look the ground honeycomb um so yeah no but it's just it's it's it's it's it's nice to have um um um long-term relationships in this business I was just going to say it's got to be nice to have someone like that and you like that you have a few people like that like really called good friends right there's been so much stuff about you tell the first time I met you I have no idea what to expect and even in a small amount of time for getting to know you I adore you oh you're very sweet likewise this I'll give us a moment sorry we're going to a break right yeah on xv.com yes but there is this idea of Good Time Charlie right what is something that people don't know about you um the majority of of of of what they read is is is is is is a is there a fictional faximile of um of of of what they think they they they know about me okay CU people meet me and they say oh you're like friendly and normal and humble and and uh and and and and you're teachable and you listen and tell you tell good to jokes at times and uh not today obviously but but um no they're always shocked that um I'm just I don't fit the template what they've been been told about me okay or what they thought they've seen right okay because there has been stuff out there or what what they thought they were told they saw okay so what advice would you give the shifted the ver on that did what uh would advice would you give the 20-year-old to um quit no um um fill in the blank um yeah probably uh sleep more yeah yeah there there's two things in the world there's no experience for I I'm sorry there there's no substitute for experience in sleep oh yeah I like that how many hours of sleep do you get now a night a night um you're talking like like a normal 20 bar yeah like a day for everybody else um um what was the question um about six seven oh that's good that's a good amount of time but if I'm working if I if I you know if um you want the force turn around is no when they have to pressure call you don't get the normal 12 oh so so um In The Biz In The Biz yeah often times you got to come back uh you know 6 hours 8 hours okay um and either step up or step out you know like that are we writing all this I juste that you just made I just wrode that yeah yeah but at some point it's like it's like it's like Get over me or get under me now again are we writing this down writing this down everyone okay she watch t that one making bumper stickers much all yeah no no don't need have to flow over here okay this part will be cut out you either above me or below me come on people that's cut out that's cut out or at least at least believe it at least yeah yeah yeah so John prer writes about you in his new book have you read it really I'm I'm impressed that he had time to do that um I've not i' i' I've seen excerpts that that people have sent me um it all seem complimentary um but but he he he did ask um if he if he could if he could print the uh the text that I sent him and when I read them there was a couple of U misspells and I I said John please correct those and I like a you were worried about your grammar that's what you were worried about yeah yeah I I I I look like an idiot um and apparently in the book he reported that or he actually wrote that I asked him to do that oh so even if he Chang it doesn't even matter yeah no but he but he's a he's a sweetheart and an absolute genius and um and and and and and and perhaps the best co-star I iy could have in the history of the own Universe yeah yeah well it was obvious able to do so that's the positive and then of course was the highly publicized negative stuff that came along with that stuff got out yeah can you wow damn do you have any regrets about what happened uh yeah yeah I I I I I I should have um say that again yeah yeah no I I I I should I should have been a little more um a little more humble a little more um regretful I I I I shouldn't have attacked them like I did and I I I probably should have begged for my job bag what's your relationship with chck you know what you know what bag is is is a color I don't wear well um I probably should have requested my job back yeah yeah that's your only regret well yeah I think I think that um that that that what went down um was was was fixable it was fictional was fixable oh fixable and I and I made it irreparable oh what's your relationship with Chuck now have one the name's familiar um name's familiar no we we don't we don't have one but but if I saw today I would I I would give Mogan uh and um you know talk to him about doing two and a half the movie not um no I I I have no bad blood he was he he did what he had to do and I did what I shouldn't have you know well that's well but that's big of you to admit that well because it's in in in you know when I meet people in the streets and and and and um there they're so passionate they're they're they're so um um so sad about what happen the show I'm I'm not taking shots at the show after me everybody else took care of that um but uh but but um but I feel bad to the fans that that say I can't watch it after you're gone well yeah that speaks to you I mean that's obviously he you it's complimentary but it's also I I I I I I I let them down you know and my family now from all that money there were ban me what um no I just um but when you're in environment that um that is that is not nourishing and is is is is um you're doing a comedy something fun about it then then then you got to follow your heart so but both parties were at fall you are taking some of the responsibility that it's probably 6040 me 6040 you 70y one more want one more no one told me there' be math um yeah M you uh shot 100 episodes of Anger Management I didn't yeah thank you yeah your greatest memories from that um the whole thing thing the whole thing yeah there were people from Two and a half that I brought over there that I that I promoted um and it was a it was an environment of of of of of of of compassion of of of creativity of Love of um there was never a moment on that stage where um you know nobody yell and we always live with solution you know team solution I've been on that yeah um something that's going to happen going to happen here eventually right yeah um no but it's um it's just I I I I I insist that I would never uh exist in another creative environment like the other one on on on anger you know learning from your ex what life all about and Bruce helper the showrunner what's name what's her name biggest friend in the room Charlie sh uh I'm one of the best guys we're sitting on a c it's feel therapeutic for me I should be laying down therapy wise lady therapy wise stop um oh what do you want to do next um aside from co-host when Mario's gone doing extra in the movies where is Mario Mario is so busy you you've seen him in the hotel rooms after the movie yes he's doing that right now well I was I was in Austin and um I told him the story but I'll tell it in the air um and uh there was a there was a party that night and we had a rough night the night before you had a rough night I mean it's a big night big night um crazy we had a fun night um what have you been doing since you wrapped by the way you've got some free time spending it with the kids family kids yeah yeah how are the kids they're doing great yeah yeah five kids and a granddaughter five kids and a grandaughter yeah my oldest daughter Cassandra uh has a daughter named Luna how old is she yeah um what's today um she's over a year about a year and a half yeah wow um yeah how was that different than being a parent you can leave the child behind you know well this diapers stin and we're gone
