Zendaya Coleman Speaks On Her Style & Latest Projects At Hollywood TV Interview 7.29.16

I love you you got it three two in her hit show she's out to save the world one Mission at a time with me now Zenda you have some amazing fans absolutely I mean you are you've got a loyal follow got to feel pretty good does it ever get old no never is you know it's it's inspiring and I appreciate and I love it and you know you have to be grateful you know what I mean you have to be thankful for the people that are out here and and and support and are just you know just awesome thank you'all for being here you have had so much success you've have so many different things going on but first and foremost congratulations on Cas under cover tell me about the uh new episode you got coming up well you know what's really cool about Casey Undercover is you know being on I personally think that it's great to have you know in the upcoming for me I get to like be a thousand different people I I wear like all kind of crazy Prosthetics and go undercover and stuff so that's really fun and then also there's really cool episodes like this one episode I'm very excited about um about like we kind of it it seems like it would be like a real history lesson but it's not real cuz we made it up um in our Disney world but it's about like the first black female spy in the organization right and it's this really cool uh kind of story and I can play Cleo Brown is her name and it's like said in like the 70s and it's really fun you know and for me being on the show and also being a producer and just you know how long have you been doing the producer part since the beginning beginning what do you love about that what I love about that is I have a place where I have a voice and my voice is persective and her you know what I mean and also a place where I can learn and creative too allow you really get involved in all aspects I mean not that you wouldn't be invested but you really you really get it's a fun place to learn and know what it takes behind the scenes you know and you see a lot of actors also get they want direct you have any inspiration or any aspirations that you know I don't know I mean I don't know I directing is hard directing is hard but definitely like producing things for sure how do you handle um you're so active on social media and you have such a loow following how do you deal with the haters well you know here's the thing uh here's how I like to think about it you know it it's you don't know those people right you probably never meet them and you and if you did they probably wouldn't say that to your face you know what I'm saying so you know you just got to put things in perspective and you also got to realize that behind an icon is another human beings so you have no idea what that person is going through what they're dealing with it could have been their highlight to insult me and that's fine I'm make a day better but it you know so you just kind of have to put things in perspective and and and I think so I don't know who said it but it was it was like a perfect analogy for like what letting people letting haters online like hurt you what what what is that like so it's like you know being in your car and at a red light allowing a stranger to jump in your car scream terrible things at you and then jump out like in real life you wouldn't really You' be like you wouldn't really take that seriously right cuz You' be like what is that who are you like what what do you mean right so it's it's kind of like I I definitely think that's one of like the realest things ever because it's really someone just jumping in your life and but they don't know you at all you don't know so it's kind of you can't really take it too serious it's a beautiful perspective on the whole thing so I'm sure it can't be easy um you are a busy woman as I mentioned you also have Spider-Man Homecoming coming out what was the best part about that well you know it's just a great it's a great set to be on I mean it's not like I can say much but you know it's just I mean I'm very excited I'm very lucky to be part of such a great you know cast like there's just great people and and and that's and I'm just you know I'm honored to be a part of it it's such it's something I've been wanting to do forever so it's just cool to be you know involved like that can we talk about Beyonce for a second you were I mean everything I need to know what everything what you smell like I mean she's perfect she's perfect she's perfect right yes cuz you were in the lemonade video how you have to start from the beginning how much time do you have I need to know how this happened tell me everything oh well you know what's funny is I got I got the call from like her management team and I literally thought it was a joke I I was like there's no way there's no way there's no way there's no way you know what I'm saying nobody just gets a call from Beyonce's team and and actually thinks that it's actually her tee you I'm like oh a prank and then it got real when she like walked into my little dressing room area I let me tell you something I have I never get start stroke like I never I'm just like okay cool like we're all humans whatever but that woman another level walked into my and I passed out I basically passed out what you say to her could you say anything I couldn't I was I couldn't even make eye contact I was being so weird it's like if she looked at me I had to look away and then when she looked away I stared at her so it it was a very interesting is she everything you wanted her to be though absolutely yeah and more right she seems like she would want to make you so L okay so what was them actually being in the video it was it was empowering it was so empowering like the look The feel the vi it was just it was really beautiful and and really what I think people felt when they watched it is the same how like how it felt being there you know was like magical well you have had some amazing videos so now youve got lemonade you also were with Tor supp to Bad Blood which has been incredible like the athletes that you guys have seen from what was that experience like it was awesome as well I think you know what's really cool is I get to you know I I what what's cool is my job I get to do a lot of really cool things you know what I mean and so it's just you know it the pitfalls though of Fame and you even seen this with your friend like Taylor or anybody that you know in this industry then you have to deal with the fall out of it so when you there's different headlines with the the Kanye the Kim and the tor how how do they your friend that kind of stuff well my friends are my family so we don't you know what I'm saying like my best friend is my is my niece and so I don't you know I have a very small C so my my drama in my life is my you know arguments with my parents or like you know what I mean or dealing with my little nieces and them going to school and who's going to pick some up and that kind of stuff so that's that's the drama that I have well you again you have um a shoe line de so what can you tell us about that um well de by Anda is is you know a shoe line that I have created for my side um you know I wanted to create something that was like I wanted to be luxurious and feel good and be amazing for for women because I feel like I was inspired by the women in my life and I wanted it to feel luxurious and I didn't want people to feel like they were getting the look for less or a knock off I want I feel like working women should not have to break the bank to have a good shoe you know what I mean I love more shoes we like a $5 tank top or t-shirt because then you canapi again I FOC like quality and the way it looks taking the time to make proper silhouette make it really what it needs to okay CU I think that you know there's so many details you know what I mean when it comes to Mak I think over when they're in like a lower price range like you know making some shoes but I want to make them like you have such good Styles in all these different magazines and you're always how would you describe your style I would describe my style as I don't I don't you know the cool thing about it is I don't have a specific which is why it's awesome I took your look all the time I never get dunk in box you have to oh we know that today I'm going to do this my style is you're never going to know I love that but it's and it works for the weather I know how little ventilation that's that's a way to ventilation right here you are only 19 years old so why are you so much I don't know I don't know no I'm have great parents and a great you know a great support system and I think that that's the most important thing staying close to people that care about you and um educating yourself and never taking things for granted and being grateful Ander you can now vote Yes so will you be participating of course I will be voting and my thing is I just urge my fellow young people to um to to appreciate the fact that they have a voice know that they have it and know that it is valuable and um and and and really take the time to to study you know what I mean don't necessarily stop at what you see on the new you know what say there's a lot of stuff out there right now and that'll only take you so far dig a little bit de and see things and hear things for yourself and make an educated decision based off that I tell people what to do um but I will tell you to vote tell you to vote will you tell us who you're voting for or that no I won't but I'm pretty
