Surprise REUNION with NELLY in the UK after So Many Years!

Welcome to a new vlog, welcome to a very exciting special vlog because today, and we didn't know about this until maybe a week ago, week and a half ago, we have a very special international visitor, someone we haven't seen, I mean you know by the title and the thumbnail I'm sure she is a prominent feature and we haven't seen her for I think it's maybe like two, I mean she's met you, Coda's with me in the car, she's met Coda when Coda was a baby but it has been years, it has been a very long time and within about 10 minutes from now we are going to have a mini reunion. Lucy is at home with Remy, isn't she? Mummy's at home with Remy. We've been told to not catch up too much because Lucy doesn't want to miss out, obviously. So we are driving over to Brighton now to pick Nellie up right now and then we're going to have a full day together, it's going to be the best day. We've got loads of fun plans, Lucy has planned some stuff, there's going to be some food so yes we are nearly there, we're going to pick Nellie up so welcome to this very special video. Nice to see you, it's been so long, been too long, we're trying to work it out in the car. What are you doing here? This is so weird, but very cool, very very cool. Didn't fancy it, changed her mind. No, I'm joking. We've just dropped Nellie off at a bakery. She wanted to get a little bit of breakfast and pick something up for Lucy. So, we've done that. Okay, yeah, I'm sure Nellie will get some nice stuff. She loved Brighton yesterday. She had a kind of day in Brighton yesterday. We had plans. Oh, there's a parking person coming. I've just pulled up, but we're not stopping. No, mate, because we're going to drive. Nellie's just getting a little bit of food, okay? But so good to catch up. Well, we haven't caught up yet. We're going to probably catch up over the course of today. It's so surreal. And we've never seen Nellie in Europe, let alone the UK, let alone Brighton, let alone our hometown. We're just going to drive down the road to home now. Unbelievable. So, so cool. She's got the goods. I got the goods. Got the goods. Good, good. Good secured. Well, they are well stocked up for a Sunday morning. Oh my goodness. Amazing. A lot of sugar. There we go. That's what we need. So George and Koda have just gone over to Brighton to pick Nellie up. And I just looked at my phone and it's been two years and five months. So nearly two and a half years since we last saw her. And like, that's a long time. It felt like we traveled with her for years, but that was really only like solidly from, I mean, it's the main travel together started in January, 2019. We met the year before, but we did the trip together 2019. That January through to maybe like just over halfway through that year, just solidly together until we sort of went and started doing some of our own trips again. And that was only six months ish. So two and a half years is a really, really long time. And so much has changed. Obviously, we've got Remy now. Koda's so much bigger. She's got loads of her own stuff going on. And I just can't believe that she's going to be in our house, in our hometown, which is just insane to us because I don't know, it's just a really long way away from where she normally is. It's amazing. Come in, come in. Hello. Is this real? It is real. It's so good to see you. Nice welcome. I figured out March, 2013. What? No, 23. I'm really confident. It's been 13 years. I feel so wrong. Definitely. 12. 2023. Wow. Two and a half years. And we all look younger. I know, how are we doing this? Oh my God, he's so cute. He's behind the table. Oh my goodness. So Nelly also kindly bought us some coffee beans. She actually knows us really well. It's really weird. So we're going to try these. I'm always excited to try a coffee I haven't tried. So I think I'm going to try and quickly dial this in whilst those guys are catching up, make us some coffee and sit down and have a proper chat and a proper catch up because yeah, 2023, two and a half years. So we have just been enjoying coffee, some pastries, amazing conversations, some proper catch ups. We've actually got a lunch reservation. We've been talking for nearly two hours and then Coda was like, I want to show Nelly my bedroom. He's really warmed up to her. Coda, would you pay something for me as well? Where have we gone? Oh, we've gone into our room first. Should we pay later? Should we do it together? That would be cool. Yeah, that would be cool. And then we could all do it. Yeah? Yeah. Okay. We should do it more. No, we do in the winter because it's been summer. In the winter, we do this quite a lot. But it's like we're just coming into autumn, I think, a bit early. It's kind of gone a bit colder and darker and the leaves are changing. They are. It's feeling very appropriate to have a roast today. My point being, we're excited for this as well. So this is called Highdown and it's or The Highdown. It's very nice. And then after we can go for a walk. It's just pure countryside and fields over there. Yeah. So we'll go for a short stroll afterwards. So when I arrived yesterday, it was so sunny and I loved it. I was sitting in the sun, sipping on my coffee. And then when I checked into my Airbnb, it started raining so I couldn't go outside. So I was just like, that was such a bummer. Never mind. So far, so good. We are in England. Yeah. Anything can happen. We wanted to, we were thinking about doing like, I don't know, one of our favorite spots and we were thinking like, I don't know, any food. But then we thought we have to do a roast dinner and come to an English pub. And I think it's quite a traditional one. She was like, how cosy it feels. Feels so good. But can daddy pop them with you in our building? So she's just going to actually film some like, clips and stuff out the front because it looks so cosy with all the fireplaces and stuff. So here are our roast options. And they've actually got quite a good range here. They do a roast pork belly, which I do love. They do lamb, like quite fancy lamb. Then there's chicken, beef. And then they also do a mixed one, which is tempting as well. And then all the little sides and stuff as well. So we definitely need to get Yorkshire pudding. See if he stays asleep. For now. Oh, that was very, very nice. Sunday lunch. I've been put to sleep. I've sort of expected to come out to dark skies. And it being bedtime, but it's actually still the day. It is, yeah. I still have to carry on because I'm quite tired now. We're going for a little walk just to see our blood flowing after the meal. Stretch the legs a little bit as we have some sunshine because we were not expecting this today. The weather forecast said rain. So much nicer than it is. I brought sunshine. You did. Nellie brings the sunshine even on a rainy day. Nellie brings the sunshine and the coffee beans. And coffee beans, yeah. What more could you possibly want? It's very steep. It's so peaceful. Yeah. I just came from New York and it was so hectic and I had to look over my shoulder. And the moment I arrived in Brighton, I was like, I can breathe. Yeah. And people were nice to me. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And like, I was looking for directions and this man comes up to me and he's like, excuse me, do you need some help? And I'm like, that's so nice of you. It's so funny. Nellie texted yesterday and said, oh, it's really nice and so nice. How quiet it is or something. He said a little busy. But for us, going into Brighton from Worthing is like, whoa, that's a big day out. Like, it's so busy and it's crazy and stuff. But the fact that for you, that's like calming down. It's like wild to us. Temperatures are nice. Yes. Going for a walk is nice. I can't really go for a walk in Bali. Yeah. Because there are snakes, there are spiders. There's like a lot of wild animals everywhere. You don't go into the rice fields. No, true. Yeah, of course. So announcement, Nellie is moving to the UK. Yay! You heard it here first.
