How to get rid of dark spots tutorial!
TIPS: Consistency and patience are EVERYTHING when it comes to dark spot removal and prevention.
There are three ways you can get dark spots: from the sun resulting in dark/sun spots, melasma - from hormonal changes, and from acne or acne scaring resulting in hyperpigmentation.
STEPS:
1. PREVENTION: Sunscreen and Vitamin D

2. Retin-A (requires prescription) versus Retinol (OTC) - do not apply with any acne products that have benzoyl peroxide (most do). Side effects* - dries out skin and sensitivity to the sun. Another name for Retin-A is Tretinoin.
3. Chemical Peels - with Dermatologist 3 - 4 treatments. Milder daily option are the AHA and BHA's.

5. Hydroquionone - another prescription based treatment product.
