Fifth Water (Diamond Fork) Hot Springs

rockhopper here and today i'm on my way to what might be the prettiest hot springs i've found yet [Applause] 10 30 in the morning and there's already not a parking space available here we're heading up to what's sometimes called diamond fork or fifth water hot springs the trail follows along a beautiful stream from what i've heard this is a supposedly a really pretty hot spring with really beautiful water so i guess we'll find out and we're gonna see it at a beautiful time of year because autumn is just around the corner and we're getting the first touches of color in the leaves the trail is fairly flat not too rocky and for the most part is an easy walk [Music] [Music] [Music] when i said autumn is just around the corner i think i was mistaken i think as of yesterday uh it is officially autumn now i don't know i lose track of time out here just you know living life out on the road and going place to place not a bad thing i guess [Music] [Applause] so i'm about 25 miles outside of spanish fork utah and this trail to get to the hot springs is about two and a half maybe three miles long until you get there the trail continues to follow along the stream and the trail is fairly fairly easy really i mean it's a little bit of ups and downs a little rocky at times but overall not bad at all i'm seeing a slight change in the color of the water and there is that scent of sulfur all of a sudden must mean we're getting close [Applause] tiny snake on the trail a little snake there the water pouring off is lukewarm but the water down below in this big pool is actually hot [Music] plenty of pools to choose from [Music] in the afternoon the water churns a beautiful turquoise color and all the pools look like this right now though you might describe the color as cerulean blue [Applause] lagoon for about a quarter mile this stream runs hot and warm and is full of hot pools hot springs this whole creek right in this section runs nice and warm [Music] i hope you enjoyed hiking up to 5th water hot springs with me don't forget to subscribe and hit that notification bell don't forget to give me a like on my videos and share with all your friends and family until next time this is rockhopper i'll see ya you
