Welcome to my channel! During my life I've achieved numerous adventures, including two world's-first treks -- I was the first to walk the entire ocean shoreline of the West Coast of the USA from Canada to Mexico - a 13-month, 3300-mile journey. Later, I became the first to circumambulate New Zealand's South Island in similar fashion by walking the ocean shore of beaches, rocks, and cliffs -- 4,500 miles in 2 1/2 years. I received national and international publicity in various forms of media, like television. A newspaper dubbed me "The Rockhopper" so I thought it appropriate to call my channel Rockhopper Adventures. Join me as we travel and explore, learn wild edibles and survival, view the beauty of nature and animals, create fun and funny videos and songs, and learn homesteading and off-grid living. After a life of extreme adventuring I still love exploring but now I go out to share the experiences with you!
