Inventory is stacking up here at Ram and at Ford. This is their overflow lot and well,
their overflow lot is overflowing. At a time when many car models are piling up at dealer lots with
no buyers, some SUV models in 2025 are flying off the lot so fast that dealers can't keep them in
stock. Whether it's price, dependability, must have features, or simply automakers keeping
production just at the right level, these models aren't staying on the lot for long.
We used CarEdge inventory data to reveal the 10 fastest-selling SUVs in the US right now.

Now, let's go from the bottom to the top.
Number 10. 2025 Toyota Highlander. The Toyota Highlander remains one of the fastest-selling
three-row SUVs, and the 2025 model continues to fly off dealership lots. With a market day supply
of 30, meaning dealers only have about a month's worth of inventory before selling out, and 5,170
units sold in the last 45 days, this SUV is clearly in high demand. So what's making the
Highlander such a quick seller? Owners love its mix of reliability, efficiency, and practicality.
The 2025 model improves on an already strong formula with better fuel economy,
an updated infotainment system, and more premium interior materials.
The hybrid version is especially popular among buyers who want an SUV but don't want to be
crushed by gas prices, with some owners reporting up to 37 mpg in real-world driving. However,
no SUV is perfect. Some owners have expressed concerns about the infotainment system being a
bit clunky, while others feel that the 2.4-liter turbo engine, which replaced the old V6, doesn't
feel as smooth. That said, still most praise the Highlander for its quiet cabin, comfortable ride,
and strong resale value. 9. 2025 Mercedes-Benz G-Class
That's right, a big box on wheels with a six-figure price tag takes the ninth spot.
Dealers just can't keep them on their lots. The car's study shows a new G-Wagon takes just 29
days to sell and has a starting price of $150,000. Why is the G-Wagon in demand? Well, the short
answer is that it always has been. Even when it was an objectively bad car to drive on road,
people just had to have them. They're a status symbol, too, thanks to their popularity with
celebrities. Finally, the current G-Wagon got a massive update in 2025. The biggest change?
Under the hood, where the 2024 model's V8 engine has been swapped out in favor of a turbocharged
3-liter inline-six with a 48-volt hybrid system. Horsepower is up to 443 ponies,
but torque is down slightly. Acceleration performance should be similar, though.
But let's not forget Mercedes' clever strategy. They know exactly how to keep production numbers
just low enough to maintain exclusivity. That's why the G-Wagon remains one of the most
in-demand luxury SUVs. And there are 1,567 G-Wagons sold within the last 45 days.
8. 2025 GMC Yukon This might come as a shocker,
but the GMC Yukon is one of the fastest-selling SUVs in the country right now. With a market-day
supply of just 28 days and an impressive 8,329 units sold in the last 45 days, this full-size,
truck-based SUV proves that Americans' love for big, powerful SUVs is still going strong.
And it makes sense. Americans have always had a thing for large, capable SUVs.
They're roomier, more powerful, and built for hauling and towing, making them both a workhorse
and a status symbol. The 2025 Yukon keeps that tradition alive with three engine options,
including a 420-horsepower V8 and a torquey turbo-diesel inline-six pushing out 460 pound-feet
of torque. These engines have a strong track record for longevity and durability. Owners
appreciate that the V8 and diesel powertrains are known for holding up well over time.
Then, there's the price factor. In today's market, where six-figure SUVs are everywhere,
buyers see the Yukon's starting price of around $66,000 as a solid deal. It's still a premium
full-size SUV, but at a price point that feels far more reasonable compared to luxury competitors.
Number 7. 2025 BMW X3
The BMW X3 isn't just another luxury SUV. It's BMW's best-selling model, and for good reason.
Now in its fourth generation, the 2025 BMW X3 continues to dominate the compact luxury SUV
market, blending sharp styling, new tech, and improved efficiency. With a market-day supply
of just 27 days and 6,640 units sold in the last 45 days, buyers aren't waiting long to get their
hands on one. The biggest updates for 2025? A more aggressive, angular design and tech-packed
interior. BMW has refined the powertrains, keeping both four- and six-cylinder options,
but now with mild hybrid technology. This significantly boosts fuel efficiency,
with the 30x-drive model now delivering an impressive 29 mpg combined,
a big improvement over last year's model. For many buyers, the X3 hits the sweet spot
between affordability and luxury. Starting at around $50,000, it's a solid value in a market
where luxury SUVs are creeping well past the $50k mark. Add in BMW's strong lease deals and
reputation for strong resale value, it's easy to see why the X3 remains a top seller.
Number 6. 2025 Lexus TX
The 2025 Lexus TX is Lexus' long-awaited answer to buyers who wanted a luxurious three-row SUV
but didn't want a trunk-based GX. With a market-day supply of just 26 days and 3,510 units
sold in the last 45 days, it's clear that Lexus finally nailed the formula. Entering its second
year of sales in the U.S., the 2025 Lexus TX350 three-row SUV returns as the upscale analogue
to the Toyota Grand Highlander, which it shares much of its DNA. That means plenty of interior
space, including an adult-accommodating third row, something its predecessor, the RXL three-row SUV,
never had. The TX350's interior loads up on luxury content to help make it worthy of its
Lexus badge. With a starting price in the mid-$50,000s, the TX is a luxury bargain
compared to some European rivals. Lexus' reputation for reliability,
low depreciation, and easy ownership experience only make it more appealing.
Number 5. 2025 Chevrolet Traverse
For 2025, Chevy gave the Traverse a bold makeover, making it rugged-looking, more tech-heavy,
and more capable than ever. While previous models were often considered bland, the new design
borrows from Chevy's truck lineup, giving it a stronger, more commanding presence on the road.
And based on sales numbers, buyers are liking what they see. With a market-day supply of just
26 days and 11,844 units sold in the last 45 days, the Traverse is moving fast. Under the hood,
the 2025 Traverse now comes with a turbocharged 2.5-liter four-cylinder paired with an eight-speed
automatic transmission. While it delivers solid acceleration and improved fuel efficiency,
it's still too soon to tell how reliable this new powertrain will be.
Inside, owners love the spacious cabin and the tech upgrades. At a starting price in the low
$40,000s, the Traverse offers a spacious SUV without the hefty price tag.
Number 4. 2025 Lexus NX
The Lexus NX continues to be a strong contender in the luxury compact SUV market, and the 2025
model is flying off the dealership lots. With a market-day supply of just 24 days and 6,010
units sold in the last 45 days, the NX remains one of Lexus' best-selling SUVs. And it's easy
to see why. For 2025, the NX carries over its sleek, modern design. While Lexus has fine-tuned
its tech and hybrid options to make it even more appealing, buyers can choose from four different
powertrain options. The hybrid models continue to be a major selling point, with many owners
reporting exceptional fuel economy without sacrificing performance. Another key factor
driving demand? Lexus' reputation for reliability and resale value. Unlike some of its European
competitors, the NX has a strong track record for dependability, making it a smart buy. And
with a starting price of $41,000s in a market where everything else seems to be creeping up
north of that, the NX offers a luxury experience without the sticker shock.
Number 3. 2025 BMW X5 The BMW X5 has been a leader in the luxury
midsize SUV segment for years, and the 2025 model is proving it's still a top choice. With a market-day
supply of just 24 days and 11,483 units sold in the last 45 days, demand for the X5 remains as
strong as ever, especially at a time when many luxury SUVs are sitting unsold on dealer lots.
For 2025, BMW refined the X5's design and upgraded its powertrains, ensuring it stays ahead of the
competition. Buyers can choose between a turbocharged inline-six, a powerful plug-in hybrid,
or the beastly twin-turbo V8 in the M60i trim. One of the biggest reasons why the X5 continues
to stand out is its well-tuned chassis, which gives it an agility that goes beyond the usual
midsize SUV fare. Inside, the impeccably finished, luxurious cabin is whisper-quiet,
and the seats are all-day comfortable, making long trips feel effortless. Consumer Reports has
awarded the X5 an impressive 87 score, solidifying its reputation as one of the best luxury SUVs you
2. 2024 Toyota Venza The Toyota Venza is selling fast,
but let's be honest, many people don't even know it exists. It has always been an under-the-radar
choice. However, Toyota is pulling the plug on this SUV. That's right, the Venza is officially
being discontinued after the 2024 model year to make room for the all-new 2025 Toyota Crown
Signia. So if you're thinking about getting one, this is your last chance. Production has already
stopped, and whatever inventory is left is selling quickly. With a market-day supply of just 18 days
and 1,376 units sold in the last 45 days, demand is proving that this hybrid crossover will be
missed. The Venza offers fuel efficiency, comfort, and premium features without the premium price
tag. It's a full hybrid SUV, fine-tuned by Toyota to deliver up to 40 mpg combined,
which is a huge selling point in today's world of unpredictable gas prices. Buyers also love
that the Venza has an upscale, Lexus-like feel without high maintenance costs. With strong sales
and limited remaining inventory, the 2024 Toyota Venza is leaving the market just as more people
are realizing how good it is. Number 1. 2025 Lexus RX
No surprises here. The Lexus RX continues to be the best-selling luxury SUV in the market,
and the 2025 model is selling faster than ever. With a market-day supply of just 16 days and 9,431
units sold in the last 45 days, demand for the RX remains incredibly strong. For 2025,
Lexus refined the RX lineup. Buyers can choose between the standard RX 350, the fuel-efficient
RX 350h Hybrid, the plug-in hybrid RX 450h Plus, or the powerful RX 500h F-Sport,
with 366 horsepower and standard all-wheel drive. Lexus has fine-tuned its hybrid systems,
making the RX more fuel-efficient than ever, with some models getting over 36 mpg combined.
One of the biggest reasons the RX outsells nearly every other luxury SUV is its reputation for
reliability and strong resale value. While some German competitors might offer flashier tech or
sportier handling, the RX wins with dependability, lower maintenance costs, and a hassle-free
ownership experience. With a starting price of around $50,000, it remains one of the best values
in the luxury SUV market. And that wraps up our list of the fastest-selling SUVs.
