Out in the California desert is a badlands labyrinth filled with rock chasms and narrow and winding slot canyons, a place of hidden passages, many of which people have trouble getting through because they are so narrow. Add to that the necessity to use ropes and ladders and crawl on hands and knees in order to make passage.
