Caltrain's Gallery Car Equipment on the Move to Lima, Peru!

Caltrain is an intercity passenger service that runs between San Francisco, CA and San Jose, CA and Gilroy, CA. Within the past year, Caltrain has now electrified their line between San Francisco and San Jose, resulting in a vast majority of the Nippon Sharyo gallery coach cars and cab cars being retired from Caltrain service. Fortunately, these 49 coach cars from this train and some more Gallery cars from a later move are being shipped from the Port of Stockton to Lima, Peru where they will have a new home on a commuter railroad there! 99% of the diesel F40 locomotives are also being sent over.
