This Asteroid is Heading towards Earth! *ALERT*

A massive Asteroid is hurtling towards Earth. At the speed of 35,396 kilometres per hour. It has a diameter of about 990 Feet. Which is roughly the size of a football stadium. The massive asteroid named is 1997 QK1. It will come close to Earth on 20 August.



According to NASA’s JPL . . .
1997 QK1 is a Potentially Hazardous Asteroid. Due to its predicted close pass with Earth. If it were to collide with Earth. It could lead to widespread devastation. And create huge explosions, fires, and tsunamis.


Luckily it will not hit our planet on 20 August. It will miss the Earth by just 1.87 million miles. That's 7.8 times the distance between Earth and the Moon. So the asteroid will pose no threat to earth. And don't worry, we're safe from it.
