Cholula & Puebla in Mexico

Cholula is a city in Mexico with maximum number of churches with a legend that says one for each ancient temple Spanish conquerors tore down. Nuestra Señora de los Remedios is a sanctuary perched atop the centuries old Mesoamerican Great Pyramid of Cholula and framed by looming Potocatepetl volcano in the background. Puebla has the Bibliotheca Palafoxiana which is America’s Oldest Public Library with elegant double tiered bookshelves lining vaulted corridors.
