Police: Suspect arrested after breaking into home, attacking sleeping woman

A suspect was arrested after authorities said he broke into a sleeping woman's home and tried to strangle her when she attempted to get away.

The disturbing crime happened around 2:30 a.m. Sunday, along the 300 block of Vine Street in Lansdale.

Police say the woman woke up to a man kneeling on top of her legs.
