Hey Diora, how's it going? Good to see you. How have you been doing?
Excellent, excellent. Just out here, um, you know, enjoying this nice weather. So
did you end up dropping your music? Not yet. We're still editing the music video.
It's going to come out soon, but for now we're still making music. See, I was just on my way
to the studio. Nice. Hey, what's up guys? We just decided to take a break and get something to eat.
Nice. What's going to be the vibe for the new music? Man, it's going to be crazy. We got some
Afro beat in there, some funk Brazilian music. We got some, a lot of mix. It's just going to be
crazy. What's your inspiration musically? Musically, I'll say Rihanna. She's literally
like my spirit animal. I love her. She's amazing. And I'm really, you know, I'm really trying to
get to that vibe. Did anybody like really inspire you like musically growing up?
Yeah, she definitely did inspire me a lot. I've been watching a lot of her shows, a lot of her
performances, interviews, and she's just amazing. I love her character and I just, you know, will
love to get to that vibe a little bit, but still have my own signature. Is there going to be like
any part of you musically, uh, with any of the Black Lives Matter movement? Definitely, definitely.
So my, this music video we're actually editing is really, um, you guys are going to see. I don't
want to spoil anything yet, but it's going to be crazy. Are you on TikTok? I am on TikTok.
Really? Who are some of like your favorite TikTokers? I'm not, I don't really follow
people on TikTok. You don't. Okay. You just make your own? I just make my own and then, you know,
just watch sometimes some videos. Okay. I don't really follow. Okay. I was going to try to get
your opinion on some TikTok drama. I've heard of it. I've heard of it. You've heard of it. Okay.
And so who are you dating right now? Um, it's complicated. It's complicated. Okay. So are you
keeping it, keeping it on the down low? Yeah, definitely. Okay. That's cool. That's cool. What,
what's one of your, like your favorite movies? Um, favorite movies. I think I have a specific
favorite movie, but I definitely know that I have a favorite series, which is, um, Hunger Games.
Okay. All right. Okay. That's cool. That's cool. And I know that you left Now United.
Did, did, are you still like on good terms with all those people or is there drama between the
group or what's the status with that? Well, I hopefully believe that at one point I'll be able
to talk about that situation, but I don't think I'm ready right now to talk about it. Okay. But
I would say we're still in good term, you know, like it's, it's all right. Nice. What would you
say to younger, uh, uh, fans who look you up in social media and, you know, there's a little
conversation with a cuties and Netflix people are getting like over-sexualized and social media.
What would you say to them as a role model? Well, social media is complicated. Social media is
tricky and I know about it because I leave it every day and it's not an easy thing to do,
especially when you're young and you're a woman. But only thing I can say is be yourself, you know,
as much as possible, be authentic because that's the only thing that can actually like help you
out of this situation because the world is upside down right now. So I would just say be yourself
and, you know, don't try to like show anything that's not really you or any negative side of,
you know, it's already negative enough. So let's try to be positive and like, you know, have fun.
Politically, what do you think are your thoughts of this election? Who will you
potentially vote for if you had a chance to vote? I'm not really to go at all. So I don't,
I don't really have my opinion regarding that. And, you know, I really don't want to
get to that conversation. I can respect that. That's cool. That's cool. So what else do you
have going on? Are you going to be dropping any new merch or like what else is going on?
We're working on a merch, you know, I'm really trying to take my time because I'm trying to do
something that's going to please my fans. Something that I would love to wear every day.
So I'm really thinking about it. You know, I'm still designing it. I'm still talking to people
about it and I'm just trying to release some great stuff for you guys. That's nice. And these
are crazy. This is crazy. These shoes. I've never seen that. I just felt like wearing heels today.
You know, that's crazy. It's been forever since quarantine. My shoes are looking for me. Like
what's going on over there. So I was like, okay, let me wear heels today. Have you been face
mashing by any chance? Um, yeah, I hope that's a good complaint. I'm not shaming you now. I'm
just saying, yeah, you look beautiful without a face mask. Well, yeah, I've been taking care of
That's right. Is it true that you're from Paris? Yes. I was born in Paris. I'm from Paris,
but I also grew up in West Africa, which is Senegal. Okay. How's the, uh, you know,
the lockdown quarantine in, uh, from Paris? Well, I don't really know because the whole entire time
I was here in LA working on some music and stuff, but I'm pretty sure it was as hard as in LA.
People were stuck at home, not doing anything, but not as long as here though, because life
is still happening out there while still stuff is still closing LA. So what's the first thing
you actually want to do when this whole lockdown is done? Throw a huge ass party.
There you go. You have to go to the Sway House. There you go. We'll get, yeah,
we got to get you in the Sway House with Bryce Hall. And just one, one last question. So you
said that you were from Paris. There's a group that I like there. They're called a yell. Have
you ever heard of them? It's like Y-E-L-L-E. That's the only French group that I know.
Is it like, is it like urban? No, it's like, it's, it's kind of like, like club music kind of. Oh,
okay. That's why I don't know. You don't know. Okay. Yeah. That's the only, I don't know much
about, you know, French culture, but I do like them. So, okay. Just curious on that. We have
great music out there to be honest. I heard in the clubs are crazy too. Yes. Cool. We have this
huge song that's actually from Aya Nakamura called Jaja. Okay. Everybody's vibing on that song. When
I go to like parties and stuff, people are playing that song. Okay. And it's huge. I mean,
I'm happy. Okay. I'm going to go look it up on YouTube because I've never heard of it before.
Would you have a final message for your fans? Um, take care of yourself guys. Love yourself. You
know, just take care of yourself. Be happy, be positive, and hopefully things are going to get
better soon. Nice. Well, thanks so much. And you guys better have some good music for her.
All right. If it's not, you will not be disappointed. All right. It better be good.
And we're coming for you guys. You know where to find us now. That's right. That's right.
Thank you so much guys. Take care. Have a great day. Thank you.
