THIS IS WHY UBER MUST STAY IN LONDON

Hi guys, welcome to another Juicy Vlog. I'm just getting ready, it's actually the evening. It's kind of dark outside, you can probably tell. We're just going to go out for dinner. We thought we'd do a little video as we've been a bit bad at uploading recently. And there's several reasons for that, but we'll talk about that later on in the video. So you're just going to see me getting ready. I've kind of done most of my makeup, I'm just finishing off. Do you want to join the chat, George? I'm just putting the washing away. Are you? How's it going? Can I just tilt slightly? You can do. We want to have a quick chat. This is weird, it's like a train. Look at my hair, I've been asleep on the sofa. For hours. It's gone really weird actually. We wanted to have a quick chat with you guys about Uber. Because as you may know, they've been denied their licence renewal in London. Which is crazy. Because we love Uber, we don't go to London that much. But when we do, we always use Uber. And we were like, what the hell? And we found out that it may... Is there still a chance that it will be alright? I think so, there's been a petition online. That's had like half a million signatures or something like that. But everything I've heard so far that it's like, why Uber shouldn't be allowed to carry on, I've disagreed with. Are you on the Uber side as well? Yeah. It's crazy. Examples would be like, some people have said that they've got anxiety about public transport. And the fact that you can just go on your phone and not have to holler a cab or call someone. The fact that you can just do it from your phone and just get in a car. And a lot of stuff I've seen online, people are saying there's much bigger problems in the world than a taxi company. But that's irrelevant. Sorry, I hate it when people say there's much bigger problems in the world. I don't care. It's like if someone moans about saying in a tweet, of course there are bigger problems. But we don't have to tweet about serious things all the time. Yeah, but you're allowed to also talk about smaller problems. And this is probably one of the world's smaller problems. But you're still allowed to talk about it. So that's what we're doing today. I think Uber is really good. It's cheaper. The thing is about the price. If I'm saying, oh, it's cheaper. That doesn't matter. Like, if I had to pay a couple of pounds more to have an Uber over a black car, I probably would just because of the ease of it. To me, the price isn't an issue. I'm not saying I want loads of money, but the price isn't an issue for me because I look so washed out. Is it going to be better if I turn this off? No. This camera's mad. Look how good it is in the dark. Wow, it just readjusted itself. And now it's going to adjust itself again. Sorry, carry on. But yeah, honestly, I think because of the ease of it, it doesn't matter. It wouldn't matter if it's more expensive. But the fact that it's cheaper is even better. Yeah, I think for me, it's so easy. You get it up on your phone. If you've never used Uber, if you don't live in London or whatever, there's an app on your phone. There's all the drivers driving around. You can actually see the cars. You put in where you're going. It tells you how much it's going to cost. And you can pick the type of car. Yeah, you choose the type of car. So if you're going to a fancy event, sometimes we like to use... Say we're going to the Cosmopolitan Awards. We didn't want to turn up. It was at Buckingham Palace. Buckingham Palace. Definitely wasn't at Buckingham Palace. It was at Kensington Gardens. We didn't want to turn up in a black cab or a Toyota Prius. So we chose... We paid £3 or £4 more. And we get to turn up in a Mercedes or something. BMW. And you guys know us if you watch our videos. We're not flashy, really. But sometimes it's appropriate to turn up in nicer cars at some nicer events. But it's not even about us. It's the fact that if you want to turn up in a nice car, you can. If you don't mind and you just want a cheaper ride. It's just more the flexibility of being able to choose your transport. It's like getting a hire car, isn't it? But it's so much quicker. I don't know. And obviously black cab people have been upset about Uber for a few years and stuff. Taking their business and things like that. I get that. But that's another thing. And Uber have also apparently been really bad with driver checks and stuff, which we obviously don't agree with. Yeah, of course not. We obviously want it to be safe. If they change, they need to be more strict. If they do get their licence back, they need to be more strict on their drivers. But I'm not being funny. Background checks. Criminal record checks. From my experience... And again, I can't speak for everyone here because I have no idea. I don't know enough about this. But my experience with Uber drive is all great. My experience with cab drivers, most of them are just racist or like... Yeah, old fashioned. I've had people say, oh, women can't drive. That type of thing. And again, if you're a taxi driver or if you know them, I'm not saying this is all of them. But in my experience, I've had much more problems and felt more uncomfortable sat in a taxi. Living in Worthing, I've heard stories before about taxi drivers doing... I'm not even going to go into it now. But doing horrible things with young girls and stuff. And it's hot, it's nasty. And it can obviously be anyone. But again, that could happen in Uber. So again, I'm literally just speaking from my experiences. So if I'm wrong here, comment below, let me know your thoughts. I could be just talking rubbish here. But just from what I've experienced, that's how I feel about it. We did a poll on Twitter actually, for you guys. Should Uber keep their license in London? Have you got the results? I don't have my phone. I'm going to get my phone and get the results. Mine's on charge. I hope you guys don't mind just watching me do my makeup. It's quite satisfying. But you can't really see me because it's so bloody bright. Oh, I look a weird colour in this as well. We said, should Uber keep their license in London? 67% of you said yes. How many votes were there? There was 67 votes. Two votes. Yeah. So, most of you guys agree with us. And of course, a lot of the reasons against Uber we support as well. we're not just flat out ignoring those. There are problems with it. But let us know in the comments. At the best burger place in town. I know, I sat at work earlier thinking, now I've got the shittest dinner ever in the fridge. I don't know what to say on this, but I feel quite strongly about burgers. My idea is a burger each, nachos to share and chips to share. Yeah. But the chips have got cheese with bacon. And luckily, you know when you order stuff online, and you think, I might have to return a lot of this. I like it all, and it all fits perfectly. So this, I do wear my chain with it though. Where's my chain gone? Luce, where did my chain go? Oh yeah. Here's my chain. I do wear this with it guys. This was from ASOS. So I'm loving, I used to wear silver chain, but it broke. So I'm now wearing this like gold one. And it's this like little coiny thing. And I don't know, I like it. And a few of you have asked where I get my rings from before that I wear in these videos. And I get them from like a jewellers in town. So it's one independent little small company. So you won't be able to buy exactly the same ones. Yeah, so I got this jumper. I think I'm going to film a separate try on proper haul video. But let me just show you a few of the other bits that I got. Because Lucy, you are going to love one of the jumpers I bought. Why, is it got a face on it? It's so, so comfy. Well, I'm going to love it, then I'm going to wear it. I don't even want to borrow it. Like the arms come down to here. They come past my hands. What is the point? No, it's the design. I think that means the jumper doesn't fit you. No, it's, I'm telling you. Sorry to ruin it for you, but. Okay, look at this, guys. That is so big. We've decided to walk down, guys, because there's not often time or space to park, but it is a little bit raining. No, what? Look at Lucy. I'm not getting my hair ruined. Not a little bit raining. That's not very good English. It is raining a little bit. This jacket is another one I bought from Boohoo. You're ruining it. Lucy reckons I'm getting it ruined in the rain, but I think it'll be all right. It's kind of suede on the outside, and then this is all like soft, furry, fluffy stuff. And inside, it's all soft as well. It's so comfy. So warm. I actually quite like this jacket. That's what I quite like about autumn. Is it the same for you? What's that? That, like, you get to buy, you get to wear, like, warm clothes and jackets and layers. Yeah, can I hold you? I'm going to edit a photo while doing this. In the summer, if you just wear shorts and a t-shirt, your outfits are so boring. You can be a bit more interesting with your fashion in the winter. Do you agree? I agree. This camera's great. Look how light it's making us. It's pitch black outside, guys. Look at me. It's actually making us so light. Lucy mentioned it a minute ago, guys. We have been a little bit bad with uploading videos recently. It's weird, because we've been doing stuff. I don't know if you've, if you've been keeping up with our vlogs and stuff, you would have seen that we've been, like, up and down to London and we've said to you, we can't tell you what it's about. We said if it doesn't go well, we can tell you. But actually, it has gone well and we've, we're going ahead with whatever the thing is and it's taken up quite a lot of our time, so, but it's a really good thing. It's a really positive thing. You guys will be able to know what it is eventually, but it's going to be a little while now. And we're just saying, in terms of us uploading, we aren't allowed to be on any social media or on YouTube or anything for four days next week. Yeah, we're going to be offline, guys, for, like, a few days. this is just kind of like a pre-warning. Don't forget about us. We will be back the following week. Go for it. Last time, I got this, which is cheese, bacon, double burger, and the house sauce, which is insane. Guys, our food's just arrived. It looks really good. We waited, way too long. Such a nice burger, guys. So full. I think because I've been eating healthily recently, really healthily, haven't I? Yeah. Back me up. I've really struggled, really struggled to finish that, so we've got a little goodie bag to take home. We're going to pop over to a bar over the road now to meet Emily and Mike. I think they're in here. Emily works a load of night shifts, my sister, she's a midwife, so tonight she's not working, Saturday, so she's come for a little drink, so we're going to see if we can meet her. Here they are.
