How To Fix Wind Noise on Rode Mic Go - SOLVED!

in one of our last videos we had a moan at the company that makes this microphone I do have something to apologize for taught me to say in the last vlog there was some really bad wind noise this is a very good video mic and we found that if we're shooting something with this microphone from in front we're fine if the wind is coming from behind it soundings very craftily and basically there's no cover on the back even after we bought this dead Kappa 420 pounds yeah here's how we fixed it oh yeah ignore that I know super bad luck it's supposed to be really bad luck when I was told we don't have time I was told that if it's still up after the 12 days of Christmas it's the dragon you have to keep it up to the following year on the beach I told you about the problems that we're having with the rode mic this is the microphone all the way around here is absolutely fine but it's this back bit that when the wind comes at this angle you get the wind noise so to fix this I have an idea this is a coat liner yeah is from an old like hood I need Lucy's technical creative skills here so guys we're having to makeshift our own bear fluff to go around the back of the microphone Lucy's just diving in okay so we're cutting those kind of lining off all of their it's a we don't know little a stick bit so maybe we could use that and easily that's a good idea see we shouldn't have to do it right if you take it off Lucy is really good at this kind of thing I'm hoping because I mean there's not a lot that can go wrong doing this remember we need to put a hole in yes for the actual jack to go in it's a shame it's a different colour ombre fair yeah yes loose I've just gone and got this which is a needle and thread now I have no idea how to sew whatsoever I've never said my gosh I think I lost sewed in year 3 which is like when you're 10 years old something maybe younger like 7 or something the sewing has started guys she's done it what an amazing job that looks so good blendin nice it does that is proper I mean we shouldn't about to do this like I'm annoyed I'm annoyed at road for selling something that but that is gonna do us all we need to do now this Cable has to go in the back of it so Lucy needs to cut a small hole we're in let's grab the dh5 yes ah looks like actually looks quite good it's like custom if anyone knows it's not going to be like yeah I do like doing some DIY stuff like customization deal kitten stuff oh you do know you totally did it all however I mean we could give it a little haircut I suppose in the back I don't know if we should because I feel like the main way and it needs it to go and it doesn't actually put much more mass I was worried about how bulky that might be it's really funny it's like it's like blond highlights let's see the whole thing yeah it's like it's just got a little blonde little highlight okay yeah that's cool so if you have found this video if you're new to the channel you found this video looking for a fix for the road mike days is that guy we're gonna start selling these they're gonna be 35 pounds at least she's got a lot work to do in a sewing kit so i hope this video helped some of you if you have to do this with your own mic let us know in the comments if you having similar problems you can hire me to fix your road might be like yeah we have tested this out since we made that little video and and it's better it's an area it's not as good as the front is a bit of an old coat it's not perfect but it does the job we still think we should have had to done that or product that is sold to have eaten it with the wind and needle through a natural microphone there we go let's know if I help you guys you've got any other questions less in the comments please give the video a like and subscribe if you Hank if you have just found this video from like researching into the microphone we do loads of other videos fight really hard to describe what we do vlogs vlogs but the so big isn't it yes just go and watch some of our blogs you'll you'll get you'll get [Music] [Applause] you
