British Couple Try Filipino CHOWKING for the First Time!

Hey guys welcome to another Juicy Vlog. Now today we are doing something. This is another kind of I guess it's like fast food here in the Philippines but it seems quite different. Lucy's gone to order a load of stuff now and we're going to try it. I have no idea what to expect and I've crossed her to order it again. I did this in Jollibee and she came back with spaghetti and hot dogs and we'll see what we get. I'm excited. What? It's a dumpling you dip it in. Oh do you dip it? All right we'll dip it. Okay soy sauce. Obviously rice. I'm guessing this is pork noodles. You're saying it as though I should tell you but I really don't know what I ordered. I'm really hoping these are chicken balls. Are they not? Oh okay. That looks like a sesame bun or something. Or like prawn toast. Oh it's really soft. Is it like prawn toast but in a circle? Maybe. And then there's these little like they look like pork crackers but there's like a little stand at the front just selling them so maybe it's like a little snack you can have on its own but it also comes with a meal. Okay get involved. I want more of them dumplings they're so good. Okay we're going for the pork first. delicious. Get a focus on that. It kind of looks like it's much darker in the inside. It is. Someone in the comments please tell us what this is. It's really sweet. Tastes like a donut or a dessert or something. It smells like a cinnamon roll. Oh my god I could smell that all night. Right. This is like them little sesame snacks that you get where they're all like fried together. Yeah. And it makes like a wet desert. Okay so a tactic here apparently to get customers is to ring bells at them. So we just had to stop them for like five minutes. But they've stopped ringing the bells now and we have a we have here a hallo hallo. Is that our third? This is our third one. Yeah. And we now know how to eat them. The bell ringing started again. Stop ringing your bell. So we got the ice cream, the jelly. This looks like banana this time. That's new for us. And I don't know what this stuff is. And some ice at the bottom. We now know that you need to mix this. So I'm gonna go ahead. Oh I've heard a tactic to mix it. Go on. That seems very slow. But apparently it makes it less messy. If you use two spoons. Are they getting aware of each other? That looks like spring onion. Okay so you're giving us a go. That's really nice. But very cold. Well it is ice. If you've got sensitive teeth I would not recommend one of these. Strangely this looks worse than the other ones we've had. But taste wise I think it's the best one. The last one we had didn't have ice cream in. This had a ton of the purple ice cream. What is it? Oh I forgot the name. Oob or something. Yeah. Oob ice cream I think it's called. Um or like you be. I don't know how you say it. Ubby. Green jelly. Nice way to finish off a meal. I always do this. Blow it. But it's ice cream. It's not hot. That's stupid. That's the best we've had isn't it? Yeah. It kind of tastes more vanilla-y. It tastes like vanilla ice cream and it's like lumps of random stuff. The last jelly we had had like half bits in. And this one's just like normal jelly which I've had. Uh yeah. It was like 50 pesos. Final verdict on Chao King. We liked it. It's probably better than Jollibee in our opinion. Yeah definitely better than Jollibee. But it still had that kind of buffet food taste. The quality wasn't there. Like it is still like fast food. But it's so cheap so like it's understandable. It's the price. I enjoyed it. And I liked my favourite was the rice with dumplings. We're gonna explore more of this shopping mall. This shopping mall is huge so we're gonna come back here tomorrow.
