Watch me travel for 30 hours and spend
$0. My sister-in-law dropped me off at
the Denver airport after visiting my
family in Colorado. Next stop, Indonesia
after being in Panama for 2 months. I
checked in with Alaskan Airlines and no
extra fee for my surfboard. Score. Then
I hit up the new Capital 1 lounge. It
was unreal. Oh my god. They had tofu
pokey. They had Thai curry, roasted
cauliflower, some of the best airport
food I have ever had. There was cozy
seating, clean bathrooms, places to
stretch, and with a 2-hour flight delay,
I just snacked, chilled, and did yoga
until boarding. I landed in Seattle with
1 hour to catch my next flight. My gate,
a 20-minute walk, and a bus ride away. I
have barely made it. Luckily for me,
there was a lounge right by my gate. I
just needed to use the bathroom, but I
ended up staying 15 minutes prior to
take off. Smashed some gummies, charged
my phone, and then walked straight onto
the plane. Then it was time for the
15-hour flight. I brushed my teeth and
passed out. And I surprisingly slept 8
hours on this flight. Woke up, watched a
movie, wrote a little bit, and then I
landed in Taiwan at like 4:50 a.m. The
lounge in Taiwan opened up right at 5:00
a.m. Perfect. There was no airplane food
for me to eat and so I ended up just
going hard and smashing a bunch of hash
browns and eggs in the lounge in Taiwan.
And then I just crashed in this massage
chair for like an hour before my flight.
Four more hours to go until I finally
landed in Bali. I was exhausted and
brain dead at this point. My crab app
wasn't working, but my friend was so
nice and kind that she ended up paying
for my ride. 2 hours later in Balines
traffic, I finally made it to my
friend's villa in Changangu. I'm just
here in Bali for a week and then I got
some exciting surf plans coming up. So
follow along to see what I get up to in
Indonesia. spent $0 on this travel day
thanks to my credit card by Capital 1. I
used all of my points to pay for this
flight and I also got to use all the
lounges so I didn't have to pay for any
food at all. Whoever said traveling has
to be expensive.
