Manila Quarantine EXTENDED! (not going home)

Hey guys, before this video starts, we just wanted to let you know that today we found out that the enhanced community quarantine here in Manila has been extended. It's now definitely in place until the 30th of April. As you guys know, we like to give you the most current and up-to-date news on these videos. It's not a news channel, but we just wanted to let you know as that's quite a big bit of news we've just found out. And that is the whole of Luzon again. So originally it was meant to be lifted on the 15th, was it? So in a couple of... In like a week's time. But yeah, it's been extended, so it's going to be another two weeks and then after that we're not sure. But just wanted to let you guys know and keep you updated. So I'm going to have to use my phone to prop you up. Today guys, I have some very good news because tonight, or today, Lucy is cooking burgers and I haven't had a burger. Actually we did get a takeout burger recently. Okay. Scrap that. But today's plan, guys, not much different. It's Monday. Hope you had a good weekend. Hope you... I have no idea how we're still daily vlogging, by the way. Don't ask me. We're currently editing yesterday's vlog. This is one where we had a little jam out on the balcony with a couple of beers. Really, really nice. It's just been really nice to spend time with Lucy recently. We do spend a lot of time together anyway, but I don't know, I feel like we've kind of got closer in this quarantine, which has been super, super nice. And we're enjoying our Marvel watching sessions because we're watching all the Marvel movies. This morning in bed with our coffee, we watched, oh my God, what did we watch? I've forgotten. Don't tell me. I'm an absolute idiot. I've forgotten what we watched this morning. I'm actually going to literally have to check on here. That is so dumb. Oh yeah. Captain America, the Winter Soldier from 2014. Good movie. Woke up this morning with incredibly achy, what's that bit called? Back to my legs, my calves. They were really, really achy, so no working out today. I'm sure we'll be back on that tomorrow, but we've got up, we've made the bed. That's another tip. Let's see what Lucy's up to out on the balcony. We're just kind of bringing you guys, oh no, this one's flashing red now. Hopefully the other one's going to be charged enough. Just kind of bringing you guys a laid back daily vlog today. To be honest with you, we haven't got much planned. We haven't thought of anything to particularly do. We're just trying to get used to the fact that it's going to be another week of the same thing. They've announced in our area that they are now going to give out quarantine passes, one per household. So before in BGC, we didn't have to have quarantine passes, but now the lobby reception staff are going to keep them and we'll have to get them each time we go in and out of the building, only one person at a time and only one person assigned to it. So I think that's going to be Lucy, but we haven't decided yet. So that's one thing we'll have to think about this week. Getting your daily fresh air? Yeah. How are you doing? Hungry. Even though we've already eaten breakfast and lunch and dinner shouldn't be for another couple of hours really. Burgers. I know. Burgers. Do it now. If we have it too early, tapping me isn't going to make me stop talking, I'm going to Burgers. If we have it too early, then we don't really have many snacks for after. So I don't want to like have it too soon and then need to make another meal before we sleep. Oh no, we've got loads of red wine we can just fill up on. So guys, currently the only milk we have in is this almond milk, which I've never ever had this in a coffee, but I have heard that you can have it in coffee. So I'm going to try and make an almond milk flat white for us each. Maybe I'll just make one and we'll both taste it loose. Yeah, just in case. Okay. Let's try this. Okay. Kind of looks a little different to normal milk. Smells nutty. Actually, it smells really nice. So let's give it a pour and have a little taste. I don't know if it pours the same. I'm still not amazing at pouring. Oh, it looks a little different. Okay. I'm not even going to show you that because it, maybe you're supposed to heat this differently or something, but it hasn't come out looking great. I'm going to give it a taste. It looks like more silky. It's like, yeah. It's very, very different texture. Okay. Tastes like almonds. Kind of tastes like the porridge I ate the other day. Okay. I'm going to go ahead and say it's not for me, but it is kind of nice to have a milky coffee again because we've only been drinking black coffee. Like, it must be well over a week since we've had a milky coffee. Try this, Luce. It's quite nice. Do you like it? Yeah, I'll drink that. If you don't mind that. Although, I probably won't be able to sleep. And I'd like two more sips. So yeah, have whatever you want. I'm quite liking the fact it's a milky coffee. So let's show you guys what we have for dinner this evening because it's looking good. Oh, I'm excited for this. Fried patatas. Potatoes. Some onions. Oh, these are the burgers. Have you showed them yet? No. Dry aged Wagyu premium burgers. 100% fresh from this brand, Kitayama. Got them from Real Foods a while ago. And they were kind of pricey for how many there are, but I don't know. It says premium and I think they should taste really good. And I'm hoping they don't shrink too much. They were frozen, so I defrosted them, which hopefully means they won't go. Because if you put a frozen burger straight in, it like shrinks to nothing. I'm excited about the potatoes. Yeah, same. How good do they look? Really good. They're going to take a while to fry. And I'm going to try and caramelise this onion a little bit because I have it on a low heat for quite a long time. Nice. So it caramelises it a little with some garlic. And we don't have traditional burger buns, do we? We don't. We don't have any buns. We've got different types of bread in. Different carbohydrates in the freezer. So we're going to use, if any of you know from England what a Greg sausage roll is, imagine the pastry outside of that as a bit of bread. They're like chapatis and I put them in the pan and they kind of get a little bit bigger and then they're still like a wrap. It's like a thick tortilla wrap that's got different layers. It's really nice. So I'm going to like wrap it with a burger. It sounds kind of weird. With cheese, right? With cheese, yeah. And ketchup. Mustard. Bit of mustard in there. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Oh, I'm so excited. I'll probably have a little bit of ketchup, yeah, and a burger, yeah. I knew before this quarantine started I wanted to choose someone who would make me good food. So that is one of the reasons I picked you. Do I want a wine? Yes, please. This is the red wine we're drinking at the moment. Yellowtail. It's good. It's nice. It's a Merlot. But guys, these burgers.
