Speaking ONLY TAGALOG (FILIPINO) for 24 Hours CHALLENGE! (British Couple)

Good morning guys, good morning Welcome back to another daily juice today's video is going to get interesting after I film this clip You can tell by the title what's happening I'm speaking English right now, and this will be the only bit of English in this entire video This is not a video that George and I decided to film randomly It has got to be our most requested video on the channel ever the reason we weren't too keen on filming it is because we know It's gonna go really badly Because we're really bad with languages And you know we've been trying we have been trying to pick up bits of Tagalog here and there But honestly, I mean I learned Spanish for like seven years in school. I don't remember one word Well, I remember hola, and that's probably as close as you get to me speaking a language, so we're gonna try our best today I'm so sorry in advance. It's probably gonna be ridiculous This is probably the only part of the video you're gonna understand But what we are gonna do is try and speak to each other or more so what there are challenges today We're gonna try vlogging in Tagalog for 24 hours from this point so anyone watching that doesn't speak Tagalog or doesn't speak Filipino We're gonna put subtitles of what we're trying to say But they might not add up people have told us before that when we've spoken in Tagalog We said um kinagagalakong makialaka and people were like Lucy that is not the way we speak now that is a very posh way of speaking It's very fancy, but no one speaks like that now, so I think that's kind of where we struggle We don't know like the slang versions and the way that people speak these days We know the more kind of traditional versions from when we like translate and when we pick things up online So we're gonna try our best. This is not meant to insult anyone This is not meant to come across as us taking the mickey at all It's purely us trying our best to learn this language and throwing ourselves in the deep end by trying to vlog in Tagalog for 24 hours So if you're new around here, please consider hitting that subscribe button We've lived in Manila just over a year now But honestly everyone speaks English it's something that we really want to work on we genuinely do so that's what today is That's what today's video is from as soon as I go inside.
