19 days to go there's a billboard that we can see that has a christmas countdown on which is very festive and i can't actually believe there's only 19 days now until christmas i really feel like it was just the beginning of november uh then it's my birthday and just like that christmas in like christmas is in a couple of weeks so time is flying it's kind of scary how you all doing well welcome back to a brand new video welcome back to vlogmas we're calling it vlogmas but as you guys know we film videos pretty much every day but these are just like the festive editions of that because it's kind of the christmas season now so welcome back if you are new around here we are only 40 000 subscribers away from 500k which i cannot believe i'm saying half a million i know i always say i can't believe it but i genuinely can't believe i'm saying that it's just it blows me away how many people watch our videos and are subscribed to us i don't know what's going on my voice today i sound a bit weird but we have had christmas music blasting all morning and we're feeling very festive i even feel like i've dressed up a little bit more like christmas eve today like with the this little pattern and like a warm jumper even though it's tropical weather here in the philippines i'm kind of pretending i'm in a cold country so i'm just gonna get really hot today probably but it's all good i actually wanted to talk with you guys quickly about a company that have kindly sponsored today's video and that's wasteless ph they are a really amazing company they have some really cool products i'm is that i don't know whether i've smashed life and absolutely finessed having a girlfriend or if that's really embarrassing and that's something that your mum does when you're like five years old lays your clothes out my mom actually laid my clothes out until did you know lucy my mum actually used to lay my school uniform out when i still went to at least middle school so i was like 11 and my mom was still laying my clothes out including underwear and socks i'm over sharing lucy says okay i won't be sure yeah i've got this like long sleeve this is my uniqlo and these trousers that are from ah i want to say cotton on i think but we need to get some food we've actually spent the morning working we've been doing a lot of stuff uh for brands coming up a lot of editing a lot of emails a lot of back and forth with our assistant a lot of sorting out but lucy wrote a whole long list lucy is such a list person i'm not so it's good that she takes control she'll write a whole list and we'll work through it systematically and productively but we've got so much cost off our list today it is 4pm we need to get some food we're going to drive out now there guys is oh my god yesterday we were at the highlands with our friends and pat offers me she hands out this packet it's a packet of chocolates it's m s which is a british company british shop no one m s says it was the sea salt chocolate no it was the sea salt fudge chocolate covered things absolutely delicious in it it got us reminded about m s we were telling her about things we have around christmas time at home and then i suddenly thought oh my god i don't think i've ever seen okay this is the one thing that is currently missing from our christmas here in the philippines like everything else other than family and stuff everything else is perfect we've got a tree the malls are covered in christmas cheer we met jose marie chan it can't get much better other than this one thing and that is i haven't had a mince pie if you don't know what a mince pie is is it just it can't just be in england it can't just be in england but one thing we have in the uk around christmas time i eat so many of them my sister makes them my mum makes me your mum makes them from scratch you've made them can i just say if anyone doesn't know what it is it's not mints like ground beef no it's the different type of mince which is like fruits and stuff it smells like a jam like it's like a chutney kind of thing but like sweet and there's like nice big raisins in it and berries and it's in a case of pastry you get loads of different you get some with icing on top remember the ones that are my favorite sugar icing sugar like dusting sugar and you get nice ones with uh like crumbly pastry and then i quite also quite like just the cheap classic ones that you get as well from a supermarket i remember one year i think i ate like a packet of six in one sitting and i can easily eat something it's just so bad the reason we love these so much is because you only have them at christmas if you eat if you were to eat it it would be like eating an easter egg at christmas it's just weird i don't know if they're even available anymore no i think they are they only come into the shops around christmas time i think we should go and try and find them there's there's an m s food that's the only place i think it would have it i can't think of anywhere else it would feel a mission coming on if you watch the rest of this video and we don't find them let us know in the comments where we can get them but hopefully we'll just seen them here let's try and find advent calendars and mince pies today okay and see if we can make ourselves feel more like a british christmas remind ourselves of home a little bit yeah and a big box we did oh my god we did see a big box of celebrations which we always every house you go into in the uk and christmas we'll have a box of celebrations or heroes roses you normally get like a few of each and then when people come around there's a big tub of chocolate on like a table with some nibbles some little cheesy footballs or some cheeselets or some twiglets the food around christmas is insane you're making yourself healthy you're basically eating snacks in between meals so it's like you'll have a lunch or a breakfast or a dinner and in between each of them is expected to eat a lot more like snacks and crisps and chocolates and alcohol so it's constantly eating yeah not that we're not exactly good it's probably good that we're not there this year because we're gonna have that break we're not gonna indulge we're gonna indulge a little bit we're not gonna indulge as much as we usually would going around visiting so many people you constantly get offered stuff and it's rude to say no it's like doing a mint pie of course i want a mince pie i'm not going to say no especially if they're hot a hot mince pie in the microwave even in the morning i'd have one with breakfast 100 okay let's go out i really want to go now i want to check on this food let's do that eminence food and rust and let's get some lunch on the way because i need to eat a proper meal before because if we find them i'm just gonna eat the whole packet no i was gonna say if anyone can relate to this let us know i often go food shopping with an empty stomach and i'll be like oh i want that i'll be taking everything and i'll be like oh yeah i need that need i need that and then it gets i get home and i'm like oh no i've i've actually bought a lot of food i don't need like snacks and stuff so it's very smart to eat before a food shop oh i'm tired as well that's really helpful let's hop in jose go for a little cruise m s no let's go to medley on the way go to medley pick up that what do you want i'll want to try and find an advent calendar yeah we haven't got an advent calendar this year and the other and the last thing we want to find is like a box of a box of quality street oh guys this is an advent calendar first class tomorrow please thanks might be a bit expensive looks outside in public then it wouldn't be that bad i think i guess most of the time here it's just normal to wear a mask outside and everyone's used to it and it's not even it's not really that bad okay we've got our medley i've got the beef kofta power bowl let me turn the light on that's better you can see it now so many good veggies by the way it's dark i didn't realize it was so late yeah it was late and then chicken wrap we love medley yeah those guys have been good to us they basically sent us some vouchers we did a video just on the off chance of going there and filming what we were eating yeah and then they saw the video they're like oh thanks so much for the video and they gave us some vouchers so thanks for the vouchers so good i love it so yummy so healthy and it even comes mine you'll be jealous of this george it comes with a bit of pita bread but mine is a whole wrap we just arrived at the mall they've got this like little what do you say it's like a santa's grocery setup that's so christmasy we just parked the car and walked around the high street ridiculously busy they've got that market on again but we are here for one reason only for a few reasons actually a few reasons but m s food is where we're heading yeah we try to park in the car park downstairs here it's fully booked it's crazy here so big it's like a sunday night i thought it'd be busy on last weekend but i think it's a weekend but is it a holiday tomorrow it's more busy than i thought it would be we've got loads of little schools here as well selling fruits and soap and jewelry got all our decorations along here yeah one more round hi also loving geordie's outfit today well you chose it i know but that's so cool thank you nice trousers nice trainers you're in the wrong arrow way i know i think you should dress me every day yeah then i don't have to bother let's see let's see guys okay we're looking in the frozen section also nothing they have a lot of other other very british things here but not the mince pies they do however have advent calendars they're a lot more expensive than the uk this is around just under five pounds in the uk you get them for about a pound for one do you want oh i don't know what do you think this one oh yeah nativity that's nice cool mary joseph yes this is definitely the chocolate one isn't it nice these are the chocolates we had the other day at the cabin unbelievably good quite expensive okay we are admitting defeat in m s we are going to head down to russians in a second see if they have them there they've got a load of really cool like british christmas snacks here but the only one they don't have is the mince pies so we'll see they have some hot chocolate flavor some classic tea bags so when you shop in fancy places like m s you get a fancy bag look at that lovely she's from advent calendar you get this bag it wasn't expensive i've been calling i can't believe we just paid that for an advent calendar you can get really fancy ones in england but like with perfumes in with candles loads of companies have started i think quite recently i'd say doing avid calendars for gifts of their products but the basic chocolate ones you usually get the cadburys chocolate ones and what are they one pound maybe two pounds yeah maybe one pound which is like 60 pesos 60 to 100 pesos we just paid 300 so i'm not overly pleased but i'm very happy that we have an advent calendar to share we don't need one each and we can catch up on the days because it's already like the 6th of december or something no way it is yes six today three each yeah so this is what we were talking about but honestly guys this is extortionate oh my god that's so expensive what would that be in england like four pounds i like two or three on a deal yeah so what's that in perspective like two three hundred percent 150 to 200. these are also a classic christmas tree in england as well as these smarties that i'm actually going to get i love marty's then we have here the selection box we always get one of these every year i think we get a lot of christmas chocolates someone gets several of these per person yeah which is so bad but so good and you get ones that are like three times the size of this oh should we get it okay we have the goods we're heading back to the car now and we'll show you what we've got we got home we did something awful guys i think we'll enjoy it and as george said it's only christmas once per yeah stupid map i love it i hate it it's the best thing about turn on lounge lights alexa turn lounge light red christmas alexa turn bedside lamp 2 green yes i have made christmas in our lounge that's so cool one is red and one is green nice okay we're home and we just filmed a reaction video we've got a lot of messages to film it uh because it's like trending right now so we just wanted to quickly film it and i think george is uploading it now it's a thumbnail for it um so slight pause in the chocolate eating but now we can fully what was that noise right outside the door we can fully indulge so let me just talk you through what we got quickly this is an advent calendar as we said did we explain this in the shot let us know in the comments if this is a normal thing here if it's something that you do every year or if it's just in m s because it's like a british british shop uh because i've never seen it anywhere else here i've never seen it in other supermarkets or anything only in m s um but maybe we just haven't been looking in the right places maybe it's very normal and you're thinking why is she making such a big deal um basically you've got all the different dates of december basically you've got all the different i love it it doesn't look very nice it's really blue that's better isn't that oh no blue no do it back to normal it's okay this is not very deep yeah it's fine isn't it really deep what settings are oh we got on auto the camera was on an odd setting that's why i looked so gray i'm back i'm in full color um this is yeah basically there's all the different dates of december actually no up until the 24th if you're lucky you get one that's up to the 25th you always check and it's like do i have one on christmas day sometimes you get a really big one this i think yeah 24th only um so now you can go through and open one of these should i open number one okay i'll open number one and show you guys where is it you have to find it so it's up here cool so this is the so then you can open up this little foil here and then pop it out and then oh it's so tiny i cannot believe how much we paid for this a little christmas cracker it's actually rick george's is so small off i thought you'd rip the door if i thought you were that kind of person then you can see what you've done i put it back so it stays flat anyways then we've got this tube of smarties these are always like stocking fillers we always have these in our stockings a big tube of smarties i this is always the first chocolate i eat so you get chocolate coins you get like selection boxes and stuff which we showed you in the shop earlier this is always the first thing i eat i normally eat one of these on christmas day then we picked up these these are not christmasy but george really likes milk chocolate peanuts or raisins and we've never seen cashew nuts so these are milk chocolate cashews belgian and then the thing i was saying i felt really bad about this isn't good guys we got a whole tub of roses because i'm going to tell you why we have never had apart from when kim and tom sent us from love keto on youtube uh they sent us for jordy's birthday two bars of cadburys chocolate from the uk it's different here sometimes it's indonesian sometimes it's malaysian sometimes it's australian it's not the same it's not the same as the uk version of cadburys so when we saw this box we read it on the back and it said i think manchester or did you say yeah birmingham yeah i said birmingham as the address we were like this is it this is the reason this is more expensive is because it's from the uk it's the legit stuff and we had to try it so we need to make this last for the month because i will like i could sit and eat this whole tub they need to be very strict and have like two or three a night this was 12 pounds 12 english pounds for this one i feel really guilty but it's so expensive it's so bad we just had to buy it just once we don't normally spend like loads of money on stuff really like we try to find like bargains and like we do love to find bargains but when i saw that it was from england i was like i might not see this again the amount of times the amount of time i spend in supermarkets reading the pack of dairy milk products cadburys products in general and being disappointed that they're not from england the fact that we saw this i was like oh my god this it has to be done i'm really sorry but it has to be done so i think i'm gonna empty these and put them in this little basket because it's a very christmasy thing in the uk to have a bowl of chocolates out so when you have guests another one will have guests because of clothed but for us jordan is my guest i am george's guest and we will be having it i'm going to put it in here is that and i said yeah yeah oh yes lovely so in this box we have here we go hazelworld golden barrel hazeling caramel i've never had both of them in one strawberry dream which are one of my favorite caramel strawberry orange cream orange cream oh chuck me an orange dream please cadbury's dairy milk chunk which is definitely my favorite truffle and fudge which i love you want an orange cream this is orange cream isn't it did you know that they have the names on the back george i thought you just had to judge it on the color okay yes please ready orange cream yeah enjoy i want a taste test on camera get over here while yourself over your instagram thanks these little chocolate we don't even eat that much chocolate we really don't buy chocolate even on the weekends we don't really have chocolate we don't have chocolate anymore so this is a real treat look at that is it is it the right stuff it's not england it's not don't tell me it's not good george jones but why are you hesitating because i can't speak with it in my mouth oh i thought you were shaking your head as though it wasn't the english one i'm not spending 12 pounds unbelievable worth it okay good good so now this is us the evening what we could use this we normally put like like christmas cake or like leftovers in these around christmas and you bake cakes and use this as a tin we don't have an oven so that's not gonna happen do you want to do your advent now oh this has a puzzle on the back wow oh my god no i'm so annoyed at this price honestly guys it's too expensive okey-dokey i'm now see george george couldn't film here i can't i'm not tall enough microwave but then it was like an up my neck shot not very nice oh that's okay isn't it i think it's okay so i'm currently cooking some dinner i've got some chicken on i've got my biggest pan filled with some vegetables we've got some onion some garlic some carrots butternut squash chillies uh i think that's everything and we had a delivery today from this company here collie babe and they basically sent george and i some more cauliflower rice i spoke about it a few weeks ago in the vlog and since then we've eaten two kilograms did you know oh wow we've eaten two kilograms of cauliflower rice uh it's been another month so it took us a month to get through that so now we've got another two kilograms in these sectioned packets so they basically pre-portion the rice for you so it's one cup per packet uh you can have it in as two cups per packet three cups four cups whatever you want they'll basically do it for you and you can check out their instagram i'll pop it right here on the screen it's so good because what we've started to do well i personally find myself um i just feel better in myself i feel less tired if i don't have loads of carbs in a day i probably have one or two portions a day instead of like one per meal so i don't have it three times a day and we try to have a higher carb breakfast and or lunch but not dinner so dinner time if we're having a meal that we feel like we need rice like a curry or some chicken or what i'm doing tonight it's like kind of like a stir fried like fried rice um with some chicken and vegetables soy sauce that kind of thing when we feel like we want the rice in the evening time we use cauliflower rice instead because we just find it's better for us we wake up feeling a lot better and less sluggish but honestly this rice once it's cooked up it really doesn't taste we don't eat being honest it doesn't taste of normal rice but it doesn't taste of cauliflower either it just kind of if you didn't know you could probably trick someone into thinking this was rice because it's like it fluffs up like normal rice i'll show you in a second i'm actually cooking it you can microwave it um to make sort of normal fluffy rice or you can fry it which is what i'll probably do today in the pan with the oil and stuff and the vegetables i thought i'd let you guys know caulibabe for your cauliflower rice needs very cool company i love all the branding and stuff and their instagram page so so you can try it out let us know what you think if you do get some but it's quite a cool idea i thought cauliflower rice yum just plating up i think we'll have this tomorrow just have a little bit i'm not actually that hungry we have some gyoza's cooking as well oh yes this is how the cauliflower rice turns out you actually can't even see it because it blends in like when i mix it all up but it tastes really good and cauliflower is good for you and my dress is undone because it was a bit tight so one chocolate yeah literally sucks no just sat watching some peaky blinders so nice to be comfy there you go that's better more presentable now sorry about that so we're gonna eat this now we're gonna end this video up here and probably eat some smarty i feel like it was a long vlog today it might be it could be wrong it's always hard to tell 10 minutes maybe it's half hour some people say why don't you make your vlogs longer or can you make your vlog short a bit we don't ever know how long are they going to be when we film yes please and it's hard to tell when you film
