Reacting To Our NEW MANILA CONDO, We Got The KEYS!!

The spiciest food I've ever eaten in my life. I got carried away with the chillies guys. I put about three silly peppers into this wrap and a lot of chilli sauce as well so struggling slightly. Good morning. Better say something that would change my mind. Guys today is a big day. It's a very exciting day for us and we're finally, well I say finally, it doesn't even feel like it's been that long. It's happened a lot quicker than we expected. We're picking up the keys to our new condo. Big day guys. Big day. We are, basically today is an inspection so we can go up in a second and see our unit. It's done. Stop ticking me. I'm rolling your sleeves. You're actually putting your finger into my armpit. Do you want to roll your sleeves? If you guys have, ah hello. Got a little friend here today also. This is Larry. This is Larry. Meet Larry. So cute. Yeah so if everything's good we can get the keys today. This is like an inspection because our floor is now ready so we can check things like the paintwork. Oh he likes your vlogging hands. You're doing this and he's like. So sweet. Yeah so we can check things like the paintwork, the finishes, the tiles, the plumbing, the AC. We'll check that everything's good with the um. I'm so distracted by Larry. Oh super friendly. So sweet. Anyway yeah so if everything's all good we'll go upstairs in a second. We'll check it all out. Yeah. We'll show you guys the unit again if you're new to the vlogs. You haven't seen it. We actually saw Slater-Young's video on home inspections and he's actually put a checklist together as a google drive which is really handy. This is awesome. It's a whole thing what you should check before accepting the keys and saying that you're happy because obviously you can't go backwards so this is quite an important day. We need to really be concentrating and make sure that we really check every area. Check the water, the air conditioning. Yeah so exciting. Earlier than we were expecting. Yeah by like a whole month. We've got a long time to move in because our rental agreement at the other place doesn't end until August. Yeah. So we can be buying furniture, we can slowly move in, we can do everything we need to do. I need to go and download this on tattoo internet. Okay you do that. We'll see you guys when we get upstairs to our new unit. Oh so nice. In the unit here was much lower during the tour and it didn't have the view. We haven't actually been in our actual place. Oh yeah never. The view is insane. The view is way better than I remember. Look at the Laguna Lake. Let me show you. Wow. Thank you Cyril. Thank you. Hi again. We haven't seen Cyril for a few weeks so we're excited to catch up but let me show you guys this view quickly. So you can see the Venice mall. So you can see the Venice mall down here and then look. I'm going to try and crop in. We've got mountains for days. Wow look over there. I genuinely don't remember it being this good. Same and also I think I remember being further away from the mall so you couldn't really see. I think I took a video on a wide lens so I didn't remember how close but you can actually see everything. How nice. You can actually see people having like dinner at the mall or something. It's so cool. You happy? So happy. Yeah this is the Venice mall here but what a great view. One thing we keep saying about our old place is how much we're going to miss that city view but I think we'll be able to get over it due to the fact that we've got this view now and a much bigger balcony. Don't forget that this wraps right around the corner here and then it goes all the way down there so we've got like a kind of wrap around balcony but wow I'm so so happy. So happy. Thank you for supporting these vlogs and helping us achieve this. It's been a huge dream of ours. It's really windy but it's been a huge dream of ours to own a place in the Philippines, in our second home, in the country we love so so much and we love spending so much time here and now we have our own place here which is so awesome. So I'm covered in dust from knocking on tiles. Everyone thought I was crazy but it's good. It's part of the checklist and now we're good to go. So we've put some stickers around places where we need changes or where they're going to tell maintenance and things that they can amend things before moving so you can have a look around and see there's a few little minor things. It's great that they're going to sort them before moving. Yeah that's the good thing. When you buy one of these you have a day like this so you can check. This is what today's all about so literally we've been here for like quite a long time like over an hour and really making sure that everything's up to standard which is good and we've also been doing some extra measurements for things like rugs, for sofas, for bed sizes. Yeah pretty happy overall there's nothing major that needs fixing it's just a few little touches little chips and things but they can sort that all out for us which is good so good to go. That was a little more exhausting than I was expecting. I need some food. What should we have for dinner? Something nice, something delicious, something with rice. We're still, I'm still addicted to rice at the moment. I don't know, it's a calm you down. So that was that was awesome we're very very happy even more excited every time we see that new condo. The view, seeing it in a certain daylight as well so we can get an idea of how it's going to feel in there. We were measuring up for some rugs we're getting and where the sofa's going to go and stuff like that so really good to be able to get in there properly today. But yeah what did we have to do? We had to, oh Cyril got us this. She got us a moving in gift which is so sweet. To Sir George and Ma'am Lucy, congratulations to help you celebrate this day I have enclosed a small present. May this plant witness more of your success now and always from Cyril has helped us from stage one from the first step of getting this condo and our other investment that we've also purchased and also shout out to Cat and Charge as well who are our friends that have introduced us to the idea of this really in like a more serious way yeah because it was an idea before but this was like they really helped us along the way again alongside Cyril yeah absolutely good friends well actually we've actually had a lot of comments of you guys saying you're interested in doing the same we're going to leave Cyril's details in the bottom because if you're interested in in the description of this video because if you guys are interested it would be yeah because we've seen so many comments asking on more details and stuff if you're interested in buying in the same area or buying through Megaworld or whatever we're not tied to Megaworld or anything like that we've seen some comments saying are you guys kind of tied in with Megaworld no we're not it's just the people we've used to buy ours and it's been we've had a really really good experience genuinely we can say that so if you're in so if you are interested so if you are seriously interested then Cyril is the person to ask rather than trying to get hold of us because she's the expert she can give you details of available buildings properties stuff like that after we left you in the condo after we've done our checks we then went downstairs met the building administration did some more forms with them we've also purchased the parking slots we went and found our space we've got a great space by the way very nice we paved paradise and purchased a parking slot and then we did yeah loads more forms they had to take id they had to tell us the house rules they had to tell us the current covid restrictions it's just a lot of information to take in after everything upstairs as well so we're feeling kind of exhausted but they did award us reward us award us with our keys inside this box so they've given us a little thing and also our very own key ring with the name of our condo on it's actually really nice quite heavy so we could use this as our key keychain oh very nice you guys know that we were very excited about the new like amenities and stuff in our condo unfortunately they're not open yet um and i don't think they're going to be open for a while and we can't have guests or anything so it's not quite what we imagined given the current restrictions and it's kind of we've gone back into this um juicy queue so hopefully in the coming months we can explore more than just our unit around the area um and hopefully things will start to open up again so we can really move in but also maybe it's quite nice that it's more staggered so we can kind of slowly get used to it and then things will start to reopen again around us so if anyone knows how to switch pldt over from one place to the other i was about to say at the end of this vlog we want to ask you guys for a little bit of help um i was gonna say like yeah so there's a few things we need to do and you guys always help us out you've always had experience with these things if you live here or nearby or you've had experience in this kind of thing we need to change our pldt from this place to our new place does anyone know how we do that do we just go and tell them or do we do it online we also please recommend furniture places instagram businesses we want to support local as much as we can but also bigger stores that we should check out we need we need furniture we need bedding we need cushion we need everything basically most of the stuff here isn't ours it came with the place we had a comment that was like why don't you just take everything in your current place you'll save money no we can't it doesn't belong to us i mean like the tv unit nothing really is the tv the tv unit the bed the desk the fridge the washer dryer everything came with this place the sofa is ours and a few little pieces of furniture are ours but we do need to buy some new stuff what else we need we need blinds or curtains fitted we need potential flooring as well so any any contacts put a comment below um and just tell us in as much detail as you can information or contact details or anything like that we really appreciate that that'd be great we want someone to come in and paint all the walls white that is the first job we want to get done so if you know anyone it was lighter than i remember today it was but i think it's
