A brand-new ringwall stand has just appeared, featuring several interesting design elements. This stand is being prepared for what could become the first Ship test at Pad A since the recent incident.

It can be said that after the S36 incident at Massey, many theories have emerged about how SpaceX could bring Starship operations back online as quickly as possible.
Among the various proposed options, Pad A was probably the least anticipated. However, a recent road closure schedule related to the transportation of ringwall stands suggested a surprising change. Right on cue, a ringwall stand was seen being moved to the Launch Site. A follow-up image confirmed that the stand had arrived near Launch Pad A, strongly indicating that it could be integrated into the test infrastructure. This possibility was further reinforced by the appearance of scaffolding on the Orbital Launch Mount at Pad A, which appears to be in preparation for system modifications to accommodate the new stand.

In this configuration, the ringwall stand would act as an intermediary to solve the compatibility issues between Pad A’s Orbital Launch Mount and the Ship. During the upcoming test phase, the Ship would be placed directly on the ringwall stand for static fire and related testing.
