Bringing our FAMILY to BORACAY! (This Place Changed Our LIVES)

[Music] feeling in my bones i can feel it in my place hands in the sky back at the spot where it all happened last night this is the exact spot it was beautifully sunny about five minutes ago and then it looks like it's about to rain again so good morning guys welcome back to another video and our first ah it's so windy let me just get into the lift hang on and our first vlog as fiances yes so that's exciting very exciting it's weird waking up today being engaged being engaged yeah here we are here's the ring very shiny although it's a tiny tiny bit too big so just to secure it i want to wear it but i don't want it to fall off so we're going to get it and refit it at one point back in vanilla so i've got a second ring kind of that's um tighter that's holding over it so that it doesn't slip off my finger and fall into the ocean by accident so oh no it's raining oh no i wanted to come and swim in the pool it just started tipping it down swim yeah true [Music] i need a little bit of good [Music] settle in the world like everything is [Music] the staff here at crimson are all just amazing like every single person we see is so friendly and polite and they say morning and we always cracking jokes with them um and there's a guy here the senior mixologist called ver and we forgot his name um but the waiter we described him to the waiter and they tracked him down and he's baking george mice and drinks i'm obviously having a mocktail george having a cocktail and they're just making them now it's windy but we've got blue sky this is the first day on our trip and pretty much the last day uh and it's blue skies but i'm not complaining blue skies the sea looks quite nice and blue as well down there it's just a very welcome change after quite a few days of very very bad weather very rainy it's still windy you can see my hair but it means it's not too hot so it's actually kind of perfect need to be careful not to get too sunburned i got a little bit of burn yesterday even though it was cloudy all day i don't know how i managed that um so i'm wearing lots of sun cream today again hopefully i won't get too burnt all right thank you for facing the weaving great afternoon once again ladies and gentlemen all right the mixologist here so i have make you a virgin island hopping thank you pieces of cranberry lemon pineapple and a dehydrated orange thank you and for you sir i make a special signature castle of mine it has a cucumber premium i make a green chartreuse with lots of herbs and spices and a hint of lemon juice i hope you both like this one thank you thank you for madam thank you my pleasure and yours thank you so much [Music] i'll be cruising in my lane fast call it high speed i've been working hard yeah i've been working nightly if you think you'll win ha nothing [Music] [Music] we're having a lovely time regardless of the weather so we you just need your special person two special people with us right now i know it's freezing but it is so cool we're even chatting to um some other people staying in the hotel a woman from born in the philippines but lived in australia but then has come back for the past three years she has been living back in the philippines on boracay and living on the island three years with her partner so nice and they've come to crimson for a little staycation and she was saying like it's actually quite it's different it's nice she said she did feel for the tourists who maybe only come to the good weather and the beach and stuff but it is rainy season but if you come now you know that it's not you do need to do your research [Music] so they actually do fish and chips here and it's really good it looks kind of like a british almost british fish and chips the chips are more like fries um you guys have heard us talk about fish and chips so much but they've even got the malt vinegar as well which is a staple and some tartar sauce really good we've also got a steak and loads of vegetables and george again all of the chicken fingers from the kids menu and i say george i'm eating half of them so amazing meal here at azure the beachside restaurant and it's super nice because we get to just watch all the waves kind of crashing behind us as it's really really nice this is kind of where we have most of our meals when we're here but now the mosaics back open what's the other and saffron is where we have our breakfast so it's nice having more options but yeah it's a food heavy trip one of my new less signature cocktails that looks amazing oh it tastes good as well right so you should try this thank you i also consider this like uh destroyed cafe yeah so it's like as you can see we have this raspberry over there uh-huh dehydrated fruits you could eat it like a candy chocolate wow very nice thank you so much thank you ver the senior mixologist here at crimson wanted us to try this well me lucy khan obviously wanted me to try this he said it's his new signature crimson cocktail with a crimson logo it's a dessert cocktail you can eat these dehydrated fruits like candy um it's got chocolate right around the edge the alcohol inside is gin and there's a lot of other fruits involved as well there's true there's big bits of chocolate around the outside i'm just going to go in [Music] oh wow [Music] okay the chocolate goes so well it tastes like that's what it tastes like you know quality street chocolate the strawberry liqueur chocolate cream strawberry cream chocolate oh that's what it tastes like oh that's so good apart i got it on my face looking stuck in here [Music] it's a chocolate oh my god it's from this chocolatey rim that's so funny insane all right we have just been treated to what pretty much looks like an afternoon tea it's the enjoying it go away from my afternoon tea it's uh it's the villa cocktail set from crimson that they do they do like afternoon cocktails and food in your village or we're not in a villa in a sweet this time but they still gave it to us so we've got some sandwiches some pulled pork burgers some quesadillas cake and tarts a white sangria for me don't worry i am wearing shorts on here um don't get too excited no one was getting excited um i have got yeah obviously not for lucy but i've got a white sangria lucy had a mango shake just now which was delicious no sugar needed oh that's fruitcake i've just realized oh really yeah i thought it was coffee and walnut oh it could be either would be great i love both so the crims this is so special for us crimson this whole trip has been fantastic sorry my flies back you'll be we basically sit here with all the windows completely open so it's kind of our fault so we just wanted to talk a little bit about why boracay is such a special place for us and it is for a number of reasons isn't it because it really is this is probably the most meaningful place for us in the philippines i guess in the world really in the world yeah the place that has more attached to it now for us and throughout the whole of our kind of story since we've been doing youtube full-time and traveling and stuff when we first i mean i think one of the videos that we filmed here when we first um came after that it got reopened it was one of our first like million view videos on youtube yeah and also it was a flight there was a typhoon in behold and we nearly didn't make it it was already delay today we'd already cut one day short of the trip and then i think we got a boat from behold to cebu and then flew from cebu to barakai and we very nearly cancelled the trip so we nearly didn't come here at all and that means we wouldn't have met mike and nelly we met our best friends here yeah that's and that started like a whole travel it was like a chain reaction that just kept going up until this day basically and then we then it was the first place we came to after the lockdown after like i say after the pandemic but like when we could travel as well again today it was our first trip when we were like crying in the sea at how amazing it is to be out in the city we were weren't we that was emotional when we first came back and then on that same trip on valentine's day was when we had the conversation decided to have a baby it's also where we've come to announce that we're having a baby uh and then it's also where we've got engaged so crazy like this place will forever now be so special to us anytime anything happens in life we need to come here and we're like let's do another trip to crimson and do it there instead of anywhere else the next thing we want to do here is i mean we have to wait for the baby to be born now and stuff like that but is bring our family over here to boracay particularly crimson and we want to book book one of their big family villas and just or a couple maybe and have like our parents our family to come and experience this stuff because we've been doing this for two years for two or three years and our family have never been to the philippines and we just want to bring them here specifically to brock island specifically to crimson as well yeah this place means so much to us so we want to share it with our family as well so i am waiting for the day we upload the vlog bringing our family to boracay that's gonna be such a good video it's gonna be such a good experience such a good moment of our lives i think yeah i just can't wait for that but for now we're gonna tuck into this little afternoon tea have a little bit of a chill have a rest before dinner a little bit of food before dinner why not and late dinner another great day here
