BRINGING OUR BABY HOME FROM THE HOSPITAL! (After Unexpected Stay For 5 Days)

are you ready to go home mister are you ready to go home are you ready you excited i think you're ready should we take you home shall we should we show your bedroom should we show you your toys [Music] oh [Music] okay guys welcome to a very exciting video we are taking our baby home i'm loaded up these bags are all going to the car this is what's been in this room for the last what's it been five days total i don't even know really a week um but it is 6 p.m nearly 6 p.m and we are going home so we're gonna have this night at home which is gonna be so so nice i can be there properly for lucy and be supportive i am glad that i've got in the gym a little bit before yeah me too i'm doing okay with these bags so i'm gonna go and load these into the car and then gonna bring up his car seat and then we'll take him down in his car seat leave the hospital um and get him home so exciting this is insane this is very very exciting very real it is yeah let's go ready yeah well no i'm not i'm staying here all right i'll be back soon it's so surreal that this guy is now asked to look after all by ourselves at home um i can't even set the camera shot right i need to get used to this one-handed vlogging there you go oh i'm so excited it's going to be so nice having our own space and being able to enjoy him in an environment that we know um and then we can introduce him to all the family we've got loads of people that love you that can't wait to meet you yeah yeah he's a little bit sleepy now and we did just feed him so hopefully that's brought us some time so when we get home we can like sort of sort ourselves out a little bit and it's not too manic hopefully hi big yawn no your mouth just opened so cute and it'll be so nice to have a shower and get into my own bed as well i can't wait so this is his going home outfit with auntie emily currently hey hello came to give us a little helping hand he's got a little bear a little bear outfit and he is very very happy and excited to go home aren't you yeah thought so he's like yeah let's go so we've got his car seat we're gonna load him in his hat's under here all this stuff it takes to say it's just like when we leave a hotel it takes us ages okay all right look at the shoulder for very long and then you hold it there just so i don't clip too tight boy oh okay goodbye to the baby rim the baby room rubber in for a few days all sorted in his car seat it feels so weird okay we're halfway down we took the stairs i'm having a breather taking him home now so this is it let's go emily has just gone she said goodbye um and he's leaving the hospital for the very first time finally we are going to see his home for the very first he's going to have fresh air for the first time and like be outdoors for the very first time it's amazing oh this is really emotional [Music] i'm still a vlogger i've got a camera in my hand carrying stuff [Music] in this moment gonna lay here on the grass your first ever taste of fresh air what's it like [Music] amazing [Music] [Music] cause i know i'm coming back [Music] of all the magic places in the world i've venting this is where my heart is oh you know it's true no matter where i go i'm coming home to you [Music] don't need your hat on in here welcome oh look at that your new little nap bed this isn't his main bed no we've shown you that if you've seen other blocks yeah oh he looks tiny i imagine him looking really big in this tiny he looks so tiny hi hi hmm [Music] okay we are home it is a few hours later i've been to the store to buy some provisions so i went out just before the store closed to get some essentials i stocked up the fridge i let me show you i basically got us some food some very very easy to cook food for the next few days just because we don't want to be putting too much concentration on that but we do want some healthy stuff so cajun chicken breasts i've got some gammon steaks this is all like throw in the oven for 20 minutes and it's done ignore the chocolate that is from christmas we have been i mean i on these late nights was a little bit naughty i did go into those i'm not gonna lie um got some little chicken pieces and some wraps i can make up some quick lunches with some spinach as well we want to get some good stuff in us low for sourdough eggs for eggs on toast in the morning lucy and the baby are currently having a little feed and a little cuddle so we then need to kind of get this place a little bit back to normality because it's been like a hotel stay in the hospital and we're both very very tired i do want to say in this vlog that we probably filmed the really really nice bits him coming home him having cuddles him feeding him relaxing sleeping and we don't want to sugar we don't want to make a video sugarcoated for anyone who's coming up to being parents perhaps there have been emotional times over the last few days we've both cried we've cried happy tears we've cried stressful tears we've doubted ourselves a little bit we've been in a situation where it's overwhelming we've like with everything you can imagine feeling we have felt over the top of all of it it's overwhelmingly positive but um i just didn't want to if we're stressed if we're trying to feed him and he's crying or changing him and he's screaming um our instinct isn't to grab the camera and film it so if you don't see that in the vlog don't think it's not happening i just wanted to put that out there but we are gonna end this one here because we need to yeah kind of unpack all our bags get to a level where we're set get him happy for the for the evening probably gonna be up all night for the next i don't know year six months five years 10 years 18 years until he leaves home but thanks so much for watching down getting used to this place get ourselves into a little bit of a routine uh get lucy rested bless her she's been through so so much she's my absolute hero i've got so much new respect for her love for her she's my world my everything and so is he and we are a little little family unit now so anyway we're gonna have dinner settle down and just try and enjoy just over the top of everything there's so much going on we've got so much to do so much responsibility but over the top of it we have to enjoy just enjoy having him it's we're so blessed we're so lucky he's perfect he's special and
