Moving Into Our NEW HOME! Full House Tour

good morning guys welcome back to a brand new video we're just having breakfast here coders with me certainly eating yeah he's eating a um I feel like he's got free breakfast tea but I guess it's the Asian influence in us where we've traveled and had non-english breakfast food he's laughing every time vloggy laughs it's hilarious so funny that I'm talking to no one is a bit weird isn't it we've given him this like I made some little fish cakes like prawn with egg and flour and oats and stuff and some asparagus and some pepper paprika we don't we don't just need cereal Perfection still if we have anything we like for breakfast it's much more fun I still remember the first time in Thailand when George and I ate curry for breakfast and it was like so so alien to us and then since spending too much time in Asia in the Philippines yeah eating rice for breakfast is just like completely normal now so um we'll definitely be giving a coda a taste of that as well welcome back to another video and I'm just having a little matcha as well in my cup oh very nice it's very good and we've probably Vlog today because we've got a few plans and things to do but also I feel like we haven't really shown you the house we filmed a couple of videos in and around the house but that's a bit about other stuff and we haven't had a chance to like an updated house tour and also like to show you we've been living here for like a few days now so technically we've moved in this is like a little moving in Vlog because we want to document this place and how it is when we moved in so is this needs to start smiling at me it's so cute you're so cute aren't you so George was ill as you know from the last few videos now given that to me and Koda so it's not like an ill household which is great love that as well I've got the gym later it's time in gym clothes I'm not just wearing gym clothes I'm not going to the gym although I do do that often I am one of them are you just tear it at me now or anybody want your breakfast yeah so we're going to do some houses of today I've got an appointment to get my nails done which may sound like okay yeah yeah boring it's not boring it's so exciting because I had my nails done in early November for my birthday from my mum she got me for a little birthday present a week later I was cleaning wallpaper I completely ruined them and then since that moment I've not had anything on my nails it's just like I'm using my hands to do manual labor to peel wallpaper to paint to like open paint buckets building furniture and stuff like that and I feel like I'm at a point now where I can not use my hands as much hopefully so I can actually benefit from having a nails done again which may sound like nothing but it's actually quite a big deal because it means that the messy Renovations are pretty much done anyway I'm just rambling I'm gonna finish my breakfast and I get Coda all cleaned up I think it's going to go down for a nap because he looks a little bit tired don't you you ready for a little sleep yeah and we'll give you an updated [Music] just working on finding all the new vlogging angles in the house that's quite nice natural light from the window and see the nice door little plant I just wanted to thank you guys because I read so many comments on the last Vlog where I said that I was not feeling too good and so so many nice comments saying get well soon George gws loads of gws which I've never seen as an abbreviation before I thought that was really nice so if you left me a comment of sympathy thank you it has helped I'm I'm definitely on I'm coming out of it I'm getting out of it the other side coffee's helped what else has helped lemsip cavonia cough syrup has helped in the evenings I've been getting this tickly cough in the evenings eyela loose you just popped in the frame there [Music] thank you okay we just got some chores done that was an hour solid work there we've hoovered the floors mopped I can just see I'm just looking down now I've missed a bit that's so annoying I'll get that by hand in a minute coder's down for his nap eventually we do want to hire a cleaner for the house because Lucy and I could be doing more productive things with that hour in our day we could be making videos editing doing emails that kind of stuff that would be a better use of our time especially because when Coda goes for his naps like now and he's gone now down to one lap a day that's when we try and cram as much work in as possible because we don't like to be on our phones in front of him too much so we kind of take turns looking after him when he's awake and we do use that nap time I'm sure a lot of parents can relate and they know to get enough stuff done so if we have to clean in the time that he's napping then we struggle to find hours to actually get our work done that's on the cards but since moving into the house it's been just sorting stuff like we've got busier since moving in we've been building Furniture building radiator covers I built my new desk let me show you that quickly here that was kind of gifted from a furniture company called called Riz and me can make you can check them out on my Instagram there's a reel there I've tagged them our new desk lamps arrived I built that that was kindly gifted from angle Poise an amazing brand we've been so lucky to work with some incredible brands on this house move in to really kit out the house with quality items which is kind of which has been our goal for this house we want to increase the quality increase the comfort and the space for our family home now the next thing I need to do today is figure out I'm kind of I'm in two minds because because I am feeling kind of like 70 better 73 percent better maybe still got cough in the evenings still got a bit of sore throat but I really want to get back in the gym so is it a good idea am I going to make myself worse if I go back to the gym too early to break down all through up I'm still a little bit chesty a little bit of congestion but not as bad so I'm just gonna just gonna go on the intent app now because I'm gonna see if they have any sessions I think today might be too early I'm tempted to booking for a session later this afternoon because I know that as soon as I get work back working out again properly I'm gonna feel so much better so basically on the app all my sessions I can book in through the app and they've got the classes and stuff so it's quite good you can plan your whole week around your workouts which is what I was doing prior to getting sick if you haven't heard me talk about intent I'm currently partnering with them it is small group personal training local to me so any followers local to Worthing Brighton Sussex Etc I know there are a lot of you because you comment all the time and we meet so many of you out and about if you are considering personal training I can highly highly recommend in 1091 because they have a few different sites as well tempted to book in a session maybe I'll just ask one of the coaches I'll just message one of the coaches and ask for their advice that's the other thing with personal training you there's someone shall I just so you do like classic like juicy homes he remembers juicy homes so the kitchen yeah I Hoover the kitchen floor okay we're gonna start here this is the downstairs if you haven't seen we we filmed a video when we first got the keys to this place and it was basically like going back in time into a museum yeah we can overlay it a little bit during this year yeah maybe we'll try and then before and after because we're super happy with how this has turned out so obviously there's things there's a lot we still need to do like this isn't a finished tour but it's kind of like finished so we can live in it but it's not like everything we want to do so as we go around I'll talk about what the plans are for things so for example this cable management needs to be sorted this is our internet yes and we've got it all wired up here so it's out of the way um but that'll obviously be sorted we've got this stuff down on the floor as well by the front door so we can like wipe our feet on it it's got Hardware I don't get any mud because it's winter in the UK now so so yeah then we painted this bit of wood black which I think it's a bit nicer and we've got our lovely leaves here going all the way through I love this ball this is from City wood floors in Hove again if you're local you can check them out but it's a it's an RVP so it's uh what does RVP stand for I've totally forgotten Real by real vinyl yeah we'll put on the screen uh what the flooring exactly is so this is a kitchen that's going to be changed in March so ignore everything you see here it's all going yeah let's just get out these nice wooden cupboards from the 70s I mean the quality is so good but obviously like the style is just pretty ancient now of course we've got the coffee machine in it I'm currently in the middle of oil in doors we've got the handles off but we've got all new doors in now they've had one coat of oil we've got these handles that'll obviously go on there but should we should we leave some links in the description this video because I feel like people are gonna want to know where certain things from so we'll leave a ton of links for example the door handles lovely black and they are from Amazon and quality is really really nice all the hardware is black all the hinges please don't touch the doors all the hinges in the doors are also black we've not done loads in here but we've got um the flooring going through and we've painted the walls but for now that's it we're gonna like put a mirror up in there and change it a bit in the future but so now it's very usable and again there's Cupboards in there and then there you go through to the main Lounge which you wouldn't sit in coda's birthday Vlog a little bit so you probably have already seen this mainly but um this is the main Lounge area so we've got our TV set up there so this is one of our new furniture pieces and it's actually gifted to us from a company called homery I think I'm pronouncing that correctly and it's basically an online furniture shop that specializes in high quality items but also ones that look really cool and if you like this kind of design I love the kind of japandy look and they've got a few pieces like that on there so this TV stands from there you've got the geometrical lines going down two large drawers for storage it's a really nice website and actually a lot of the products including the two we got from the Marshall the other one in a second and they dispatched within 48 hours you can literally get them within the week so for us people like us that are quite excited by stuff like this and once we've got our mindset on something you don't have that like 12 week wait like we did for the sofa and the table and stuff see we really love this we've got the TV on it currently in our Marshall speaker our PS5 some candles I bought some more plans to do some other bits with it but I think it just looks so beautiful the TV's just sat on it at the moment and it's also nice and durable so it's made from a high quality wood and it's got metal legs um so it's something that hopefully is nice and long lasting which is what we're aiming for in this house to have high quality pieces of furniture so hopefully you'll notice that as we go around the rest of the house I have to say I'd never like they haven't asked me to say this for anything but the way this was packaged it was like nothing could ever happen to it it was so well packaged there was about a thousand layers of packaging like corner pieces and it was actually within some wood itself and and it was like Christmas Day unwrapping it it just took me so long but it means that it's so well looked after and it's really easy to install literally pop the pop the five legs on I didn't have to build any of this so it wasn't a flat pack which is always good okay and then we've got our sofa here which we absolutely love is from Barker and Stone House super comfy super lovely surf as well those have run we've got some radiator covers put on here so that if Coda tries to touch it hopefully there won't be any accidents I might remember this from our old bedroom in the flat there's a few pieces that we've brought back from the survived instead of survived and we quickly we only saw this material this big from yeah from a tiny sample I'm glad we like it we are super happy with it just get a close-up it's like okay I think they call it oatmeal but it's like yeah yeah super soft and uncomfortable and then we've got like a few candles up here and then our old rug from the bedroom as well and then if you come around this side you can all the tiles on the floor they're actually and we're figuring out kitchen Tiles at the moment we've got a little basket down here that we like keeping the remotes and the cables in for now this little box thingy for storage yeah this is going to be hopefully our kitchen flooring but we'll show you about once we actually sort the kitchen out so we're currently figuring all of that out that's my further disgusting we've had new French doors put in I'm gonna do a quick before and after of that because it's super satisfying and we're very happy with them nice black handle and then the next piece from Henry is this amazing accent chair it's so cool when I first saw it I thought it looks amazing I didn't expect it to be that comfy often you get a chair like this and it looks good but it's just not very practical it's actually really nice to sit in um and we've got like a little reading Nook here so you can sit here in the morning with a cup of coffee look at the birds in the garden when you in the summer you'll have the French doors open it's a vocal I think is the name is that how you would say it George I think so it's like a sheep's skin no it's not actual sheepskin but it's like it looks like that nice and soft like a cloud sitting on air yeah it's quite fashionable at the moment I think that material has got that like reclined bit at the back so you can really get cozy and we just think it's so unusual and different everyone that comes in they're like oh nice chair like it's a it's a piece of the room that we're them in this video and then what's next so we haven't Turned the Lights yeah we've got two of these lights they are wonky we know we are going to get that fixed don't comment you've got wonky lights because we know we've got wonky lights yeah they're really nice though I think they were also Amazon yeah so this is our dining table from Markham Stone House it's massive so we got this and the sofa kind of with in our heads the idea that we take these onto a bigger house in the future so they are kind of maybe a bit too big for this room but we love it really thick solid wood oh and it's got a Live Edge it bespoke like me for us in England so it's all really handmade each piece of wood is different so you don't really know what you're going to get until it turns out yeah and it's so so heavy it took two guys to bring it in and build it for us yeah the Live Edge means basically that this is like it's an uneven line along here then we've got these black chairs which we absolutely love for dining chairs we've got two more coming obviously and we might get a bench we might have four chairs in a bench maybe but for now I'm just not four chairs we painted at 55 place in Black which I'm very happy with how it's turned out got some candles and stuff and an old mirror if you remember from the flats I've been here we might fit it up on the wall we might not we'll see I've got coda's bright red and yellow car which is very aesthetically pleasing and it's high chair and loads of cables down here and yeah that's kind of the downstairs isn't it and I'm not going to go upstairs until he's awake so we'll have a different part of the Vlog and then we'll go upstairs this afternoon but yeah we're so pleased aren't we we're like obsessed with this house we feel very grateful and lucky and it's amazing just like coming down in the morning to a home now instead of a flat that we'd completely outgrown and then a flat that was as full of boxes so it's just very special for us even though we're leaving in a couple of weeks for a big trip so we're not actually gonna have very long to enjoy it but then we're back again later in the year but anyway I've got to go to my nail appointment now [Music] just had a bit of a panic thought we'd run out of Oakley but there's one left [Music] thank you [Music] thank you [Music] foreign [Music] [Applause] [Music] guys a few hours later now we are going to show you the upstairs of this house so please follow me up this beautiful carpet so happy with the carpet again we went for like a good quality it's quite spongy it feels soft under your feet firstly I'm gonna point out the staircase we did not change this Lucy just painted it black and white so it's like kind of been able to modernize it in the way that it already was which is cool come up here behind me you will see our beautiful chandelier hanging light which kind of sets off this whole area here for the staircase what sets off we will leave a link for this this is from a place called why not oh it's sold out right yeah we can't leave a link it was from dunnell Mill but it was literally the display model OKAY whilst we're in here we will show you the bathroom this as you can see is the old bathroom we have not yet managed to do anything in this room available for now and the plan is to do something with it later on this year but now it's perfectly fine we had the boiler change from like a tank all the time to a Combi so the water tank was behind this wall and that's what powered the power shower which no longer works because there's no water tank so I've had to buy like a cheap one that you like use to wash dogs with she's fitted this and I've duct taped it on I thought I bought a holder wow Lucy you get a job as a plumber now it's to wash dogs with so that's what I'll shower now if you don't fancy always having baths excuse the potty in the bath that's what I was using to wash my hair with as well yeah so this is like look in the whole life of luxury hair the rest of the house is like Instagram versus reality this clearly is not how we want this room to look we've got a new bath mat though get naked on it yes fun yeah that's cool and the doors the interior doors are on up here on the Vlog banana banana hands super nice and yes so that's the bathroom so work in progress but I quite like that we've got like the kitchen and bathrooms aren't done because then we can really come out here and like appreciate it more it's not just like one big new build White Walls we can see like we can appreciate where we've come from yeah exactly um right so then I guess it's going here first this is what I'm most excited about office and we've got bits everywhere again so just so you know no nothing up here is done none of them upstairs are even like a tiny bit done literally the walls are painted the carpets in we haven't even got like light fixtures up here or anything we've just plonked some furniture in here for now it is a long way off being where we want it to be but just so you know like the space this is what we're working with this is the amazing desk that John was showing oh we love this again like the dining room table yeah got the Live Edge this is solid oak with the monitor stand yeah I'll put a link to their website because they kind of gifted us this gonna sort out the uh Cable Management don't you worry we've got the um angle Poise this is a lovely edition if I turn that on yeah we've got this beautiful angle poised lamp that they sent over I think I mentioned this already that one and this tall one here when they're properly set up in the places they're going to be we'll like do another one of these like I feel like we do like another so bright um would you like an updated house tour once everything's where it needs oh yeah this room like we've got this old wardrobe in here as storage this room is going to be totally transformed like we're getting a new monitor we're planning on some stuff for the walls we have a lot of plans none of this is finished this is my current most it's got loads of our rubbish in it's gonna be our walking wardrobe and we have just made the order and it's coming in like three days from now so this weekend I don't know I don't know where this vlog's going out but this weekend for us we're gonna build our walk-in wardrobe and literally here to here and all along here is clothes storage all open drawers lights it's going to be amazing yeah um it's finally a space where we can come in see all the clothes we have on and get ready instead of living out of suitcases boxes before we had like 60 centimeters each of hanging space and like two drawers not enough space now we've got like 250 centimeters each of hanging space and like seven drawers so we've like completely maximized this Rim definitely right now it's just kind of like a little bit storage and suitcases are in here yeah I went on we did it through Ikea actually and I basically like measured out everything in here and figured out the best layout there were so many different things like we're about two centimeters off being able to have the taller ones because the ceiling height are high there's like a few things we had to really work out with and they're like we kept checking and checking because we've ordered it all ourselves so um hopefully it arrives and it's all good it's gonna be like hours of burning flat fat Furniture but it will be worth it and then it's going through to our bedroom just in here so this is currently a bit of a blank canvas Sleek on the floor very Japanese that's pretty much it yeah we also don't need wardrobes in here because we're having an entire room dedicated to our clothes and this is really there's going to be a neutral peaceful place we're thinking of having no black in here there's black all over the house we're thinking of keeping this room like white and beige super neutral calming relaxing for bedtime although we do want we do want a TV yeah and we've been converted before we were like we don't have TV in the bedroom but because when we were in the flat we were just in now the only TV we had was in the bedroom slash living area Lounge because it was one room we kind of got used to it and loved it um it's still kind of nice not having a TV though we got rid of we haven't had a TV in our bedroom for a long time we used to sort of stuff on the back in the morning yeah but yeah this room is gonna be very peaceful we've got so this is kind of lovely to way house tour I guess because we are by no means done as you can tell the final rims four bedroom house this is coda's bedroom which I'll just quickly kind of show you behind he's got some storage here for all his stuff yeah let's cop his ball pit his changing unit his new bookshelf that Lucy built yesterday these are all his toys there's there's actually stuff in this one as well but the stuff's on the way but I've like tried to put it into boxes but I need to find like a better story solution but it's ridiculous these are full to the brim yeah and he's won and that is a big space these are the built-in wardrobes that we left in yeah it made sense we got rid of them in some other rooms but it made sense to leave them in this room here Brighton Hospital the Royal Pavilion the north Lanes seven dials he loves Central Square he's so cool yeah he started playing with his toy cars along the mat hasn't he yeah kind of like Wheeling them along so sweet yeah I know I don't know I put an iPad in his bookshelf these are a lot of his books he's actually got quite a few more books than this but they're currently in storage so we need to get all of our boxes out and finish filling this up but it's so nice that he can like he's really loving books at the moment so he like comes up to it and he like picks a book which is amazing and it's like a dream of mine I don't know why I like having a bookshelf for him that's open like this and he can just have himself a couple of holes underneath where I've put like his current favorite toys in and we can like rotate them out and stuff because I think it's just overwhelming how many toys he has some like in one go so I just sort of will keep mixing it up and he can just enjoy whatever it is at the time but that's his heartbeat this is the elephant we've got one of his scans these three characters so that's the tour and that is gonna end off today's Vlog we are it is evening time now what time is it half past well no it's not half past four it's getting dark because again what I said it's evening time it's only half past four is it but um the battery is running low which means we've vlogged enough today way too much um your favorite part of our house yeah please do but we want to
