Tagaytay Never Looked THIS Good!

foreign [Music] and we are very excited to be here because we've heard very good things about the view and we're staying the night and we can't wait to show you so it's our first time here we've literally just arrived and welcome to the Vlog and uh let's just say like Lucy is a well-connected person these days Lucia she knows the owner on Instagram the owner of this whole place [Music] how amazing is this view it's insane they've got this infinity pool that looks over the Town Lake and it's incredible like the whole hotel is built around the view so yeah I think we can get a better look around the corner there yeah so nice look at that it's so nice seeing this view we've seen it many times before but from different perspectives along the um along the road hello oh wow that's nuts I don't think we've ever had a view of this place this good no this is the best I think we said years ago Starbucks had the best view we changed our mind I think this might be better wow oh look at it it's so vast and it's kind of hazy today which is quite cool it's giving it like a mysterious Edge obviously a lot of people here checking out the view at the restaurant but wow super nice [Music] wow a lot he has stayed in a lot of hotels haven't you what do you think oh straight to the mirror just like your dad okay let's close that for now let's check out the view coder I think we have a pool view do you want to see the pool come this way yeah should we go and see the pool okay don't worry guys this balcony looks pretty safe for coda as well yeah wow let's go let's go I want to come out this is the view I've seen on Instagram actually so nice wow look at that guys beautiful so nice it smells amazing as well I don't know what they're using in here but there's some like amazing smells going on yeah definitely so this is our room for the night very nice touch mirror we got coda's got his own bed although he would not stay in there nice that's a really nice roommate Lucy said it's got a kind of almost Japanese kind of feel with like the woods and the white and the wood kind of minimalist some storage let's have a look yeah nice bathroom there you go perfect it literally has everything you need and more but I think what we've well sorry Coda stepped on your finger whoops it's like a cat you just when you step on a cat's Tower here a little Yelp sometimes oh my God I'm joking uh I I noticed before I actually stepped down wow I think what we really want to do is swim so we'll see you guys at the pool although the pool's not heated we're just told so it's going to be a very cold swim because we're already into gaita which is colder than Manila it is as we said in the UK a little bit nippy bit nippy okay we're like in the pool now it's actually not as cold as I thought it would be um it's amazing it's like something from a dream world you sort of swim out and you just see it's like quite Misty today isn't it so it's quite what's the word what's the word easy I said like mysterious seriously it like it just Blends in atmospheric yeah it's all cinematic in through my eyes not through a camera um I really got some really cool Instagram stuff as well so it's just amazing it's such a cool View and it's so nice to look out there we're gonna get coder in the pool now as well so you can have a little swim Instagram photo shoot over I think for now do you want this is cool wow are you swimming can you say swimming wow oh look at that shot cool guys that's actually really good [Music] a little stronger [Music] foreign [Music] I'm dressed as a tea towel or like I look like that China you know like yeah very nice plate thank you for some dinner now we are actually meeting the person who invited us to stay here and um nice angles and I think this is like a lot of Filipino food but they also have like Pizza Pasta fish and chips Burgers but I do really feel like Filipinos let's get a little tip um yeah yeah um I really find some Filipino food so hopefully I'm hoping they've got Cinna getting on the menu because I really really fancy it some porks and again what's your favorite thing again comment below pork's my favorite what's your favorite although prawn like chicken I think chicken salad I think prawn yeah prawn I think and if you've never had synagogue and you don't know what we're talking about it is a Filipino soup and it's sour have a look at this just a little sneak peek View just near the elevator look there's like little Snippets of the view that the hotel I've put in even just in this Corridor here you just get a nice little snippet of The View can you see Mummy wow look at that a couple of hours later now since we came out here it's almost nicer at this time and I bet in about half an hour once that sun is a little bit lower it goes to like golden hour I bet that is the best time to actually look at this for you I don't think our camera's just going to do it justice gonna have to come here for yourself guys you really are this is a view that our family back home in the UK always remember as well whenever we talk about the landscapes in the Philippines and some of the views we've seen they say oh the volcano we remember the Vlog with the volcano [Music] thank you [Music] [Music] all right guys we finished it's not too much light got a little light out here with me maybe just like a little glow bouncing off the window we just okay maybe that's okay just finishing off with a little glass of red wine here beautiful um really you've probably noticed I haven't been drinking Lucy and I didn't drink for think I think it was eight months we did eight months um and then we've started having the occasional drink again got offered a little glass of red wine this evening so I accepted very nice French we just had dinner with you can you guys see the pool just sat on the balcony right now Maybe if I move along maybe you can see the pool down here we had a dinner with the guy who runs this whole place so Lucy Lucy got to know him on Instagram and he wanted to invite us to come and stay super friendly guy really into cars as well so we had some great car chats but I'm gonna finish finish this little glass of wine overlooking the pool The View has now disappeared Into Darkness but look forward to waking up in the morning and looking out but yeah thanks so much for watching hope you've enjoyed all these Vlogs in the Philippines so far we um we love vlogging here so much because it is so accepted it is so easy to film because said it before people seem to really love vloggers here they if you're walking around the street vlogging they're more likely to say oh hey what's your channel I'll check it out Dan look at you and say what are you doing yeah I hope you enjoyed this Vlog if you've missed any of the videos over the past few weeks then go back and check them out we've done so so much on this trip so much um and we're loving it code has been amazing we feel like we're not back to our old life because we don't move backwards guys we move forwards always move forwards um but it feels like a whole new life if that makes sense I don't know it feels like a new era where we're in this thing where we can travel with Coda we film a lot there's obviously stuff we don't film but honestly there's not crazy moments where he's screaming or crying or struggling with travel um we're really really very lucky I think it might it would be so easy for us to not film those moments and edit them out but really there aren't too many of them so obviously here's like a toddler and he has his moments but there's so few and far between very very lucky I'm gonna finish this off get to bed get some sleep wow it's delicious yeah bye bye bye bye okay so now the next day we had a great sleep and we woke up and got a little bit of abdomen done on the laptop this morning and Coda was calling around enjoying the room and now we'd come out for breakfast with this incredible view it is the best bit of being here I think the view is just you can speak to smartphones it's incredible oh yeah someone's got the drain up someone's flying their drone right now we don't know who it is or where they are um we've got some breakfast here some fresh Crepes oh mango bread watermelons and Panda cocoa and omelette some hash browns and bacon and some coffee and I'm just enjoying and we are heading back to BGC in a bit so we're gonna finish this up and pack up in the room head to the car and start the short trip back to BGC we were saying actually yesterday to Bocce that the the drive the distance from here to Manila is pretty much the same as from where we live in England to London so this is like us going to London all the other way around which is cool and they also just surprised us with this box that we can take away with us which is their cheese bread that they bake fresh every single day and they every night okay every night and they um reserved us a box so we can enjoy this in the condo later on so thanks guys thanks to Skyla for having us really enjoyed I'll stay we're actually gonna end off this Vlog here because all we're doing is packing up like Lou said
