Türkiye 🇹🇷 vs. Brazil 🇧🇷 - Highlights | Week 2 | Women's VNL 2025

On the left side in the red taking on Brazil on the right side in the yellow That's the world ranked number three versus number two First shots fired from Vargas. No surprise there. They're gonna get her on going as soon as possible Right side get that middle fire 21 years old Julie Bergman on the surf Vargas from That was a perfect set right off the sideline gives us some room You've got the center up there you got to work with Gonna go with two hands Lorena Throwing him over the net such a dynamic blocker gets there and then finishes this move back into the court Back into the reception unit Handles it beautifully Shaheen goes middle monster block for Brazil Full commit block on that perfect pass read that so well and dove right in least of all the defenders on the other side Christina targeted What comes off the hand Shaheen has to take it That point Brazil is it now I Stepping in Helena with the rip straight in the middle of the honeypot and Brazil have taken set number one and in some style 25 18 But not that out of sorts. It was really Brazil just playing super disciplined and clean volleyball And this feels a little bit like Brazil flexing I mean to win that set without even needing their number one superstar Gabby on the court She did come in in that last point, but I don't think they needed her. No, they didn't but this is the experience again Even though they're young the team itself is expensive number two underway Julie Bergman to get us going for Brazil Vargas will have the first rip She's slowed down, but some scramble play keeps it alive Brazil back to the middle that zone established real well in the first set 1714 lead opened up for Brazil I'm underneath the ball That's a big one for the team but big for Vargas to yeah when she left the course the last time she was not feeling Great about herself. It's firing me up Firing Vargas up and Christina Another chance, she changes the angle every time it's it harder and harder Down by two here the final stretch of this set That is exactly why he put her in the game the big attack is coming and Ganesh who can stop The VNL in 2023 and you can see why she's in Who fast work here to tie it up Happen Brazil too many weapons Vargas smiled a little bit there Point How about it So many things going right for Turkey a but it was really the adjustments of the sets getting it a little closer to the net Letting Vargas go over the top and around the block Caterpillar same thing and that just gave them the momentum and energy they need brilliant to call a Danielle centrally At Brazil we're fully in control of that said they're up by three points Set number three now underway as Turkey won the second but Brazil come out hot from the gates This is volleyball According to the stadium Tynara sneaks one past the hand Back to Austin's been serving so well the 21 year old middle blocker heading over to back to back to play next season Giovanni Gaudetti another point for any Christina No more time Is getting things done from the end line It's a lot A perfect to get this point 11th point of the night Backman sends it with two hands free beyond Gabby go back to the backcourt and a Christina unwinds and she is targets Now there's solid connection for Brazil Christina has put Brazil over the edge set number two goes the way of Brazil on real that That's number four ready to get going Brazil with the first serve backman puts it in play And a cat goes just high and there's that one error we said we said we hadn't seen her make many errors Short serve Gabby Again in her fourth VNL Okay on lines look for fingers they're not there to take so Brazil go up by another point seven to two these Especially they've been playing at such a high level And he's used to playing or coaching for a team like Connelly I know that can go on runs of over hundred Hard to believe she's 21 years old the future of Brazilian volleyball Turkey are trying to put something together here down 10-6 to Brazil Does everything well Christina doesn't take anything off of it Gabby with the pancake That's not done yet There's a tip from Shaheen balls up And another scramble play Vargas gets the set goes so well to work and make space for herself Bagman and going again this rally who's gonna outlast this is a long one Turkey is still in it Nine of them floater Chance to finish it and a Christina gets it done and Brazil have done Turkey
