Cozy Home Life As Summer Wraps Up

Morning biscuits, it's not actually morning. It's lunchtime, but we have had a busy morning Biscuits, I can't remember the last time I've done a regular at-home vlog Abraham. I don't know how you'd fit them in I Was considering trying to find fairy lights because those are brighter But I don't know we really need them as the season gets darker because that's gonna happen as the days get shorter there already are and That area is so dark because there's just you know The house is made to have the table here in the kitchen area and we moved it so that her playpen could be there And I love it there where there were the tables now. I'll show you Bag of salad, that's how the week is going we're having um my god Some stuff built for the glamping project today, which is the first little thing and Yesterday I stayed around for nine and a half hours trying to be useful as A shed got built and they totally didn't need me to it just was my entire day sucked up with the kids We were all there, so it was crazy. I am looking for English muffins. We are gonna make little pizzas For the kiddos, I'm gonna have some Hawaiian sweet rolls Where are they? I got a big batch of Costco with yeah with some different cheeses and sauces. I just feel like It's warm today. I just feel like little nibbles. You know whenever it's warm. I want little nibbles I highly recommend this stuff So good get it at Trader Joe's Trader Joe's in my opinion has the best dips I Know scandals question like Oh Holly debated, but I think it's got the best dips. I've tried buying dips from regular grocery stores Shredded cheese makes little pizza so easy and they just aren't good And we're you know celebrating the dog days of summer right? We're like, okay you can feel that summer switched over and It's almost gone, so I'm trying to take advantage of it. Well, that is really unflattering. I'm sorry biscuits That's just how we are there, but I wanted to do At home hi sweet girl an at-home video Filled with the chaos that is I'm gonna show you a little update on the garden and I have no idea what we're gonna bring You along for but gonna show you some fun stuff because I love bringing you biscuits along with Adventures of chaos I Had a mermaid theme for my birthday party Just Total chaos as far as the I can see. I think I'm actually gonna hire a babysitter to wash the kids So ridiculous here at the house while I clean the house Because it's just hi my darling such Chaos and screaming and anger whenever I'm trying to get stuff done that I'm like, oh my god I'm just gonna when I get somebody to come watch the kids for like three hours and deep clean the house And I feel ridiculous doing that but as a solo mom like Tis the life if you want to get anything done without them. I'm gonna make little pizzas You just get squeezed we've survived lunch, but barely My phone turned on which is really weird. I don't know why I did that. Um, I am covered I don't think you can even see like cover. You can see it on my legs with food She is going through her toddler uber loving food, which is great but she just smears everywhere and she stole Darna off the table and It's just literally just it was a cream-filled doughnut just squeezed it all over me before I could do anything. I know you don't want to I know I Was on Instagram stories just now talking I think oh I need some chocolate the last week and a half has made me need chocolate and it reminds me I wanted to show you biscuits. I Think I'm gonna do a Let me see I like best finds at Costco. Well, I don't know what this is doing. Yeah But this Is delicious? num-num-num They're keto nuggets, which sounds like poop from keto dieters, but It's quite good. It's got like pumpkin seeds and coconut. It does have sugar from the chocolates. I don't know how that's totally keto Hey girl. Hey girl, you feeling sad. I'm sitting on my yoga ball That's just the point in the day we've gotten to oh, yeah, I haven't brushed my hair yet It's doing weird things cuz it's been up since it's been wet. There you go Yeah, total chaos so you biscuits know I'm gonna move the camera this way just that nobody's nobody's in shot that doesn't suppose to be You know little monkeys running around the summer but I Talk a lot about you know Emotional self-care physical self-care, right? It's kind of like one of my sticks that I talk about a lot because it's on my mind and that is especially true during seasons or times of your life where it's like You know, it's been a lot of chaos and it's been chaos from the kids and then I've had to have like my big boss lady hat on so that I can do things for work that was just really important to do and You know, we're launching a new streaming series and I'm gonna film any editing that and casting for it and all sorts of steps do that I've been working on another business project Yes, oh yes, it's gonna be so incredible it's gonna be so good it's gonna be so amazing and so trying to balance that for me has been really tricky because You know kind of when you're submerged in the chaos You can just kind of be in the flow and you just go with it, right? Like I showed up to a meeting with a contractor Cover it in food. Like I didn't even realize Abraham pointed out to me partway through my conversation. Just cover it She's like slathered me would come after Lunch or something and she just covered me and I So I've really been working on giving myself space To to experience both those and to realize that I don't have to win at either one, right? Like it's okay, but I don't have to be the best at either one. Hi, my darling. Hey, I saw you guys Are you looking at camera? And boy that is so hard for my personality to accept should we go have some died of milk and tuck in I Am roasting a chicken biscuits. Yes. Oh, she knows what she knows what dog milks are. Yes. I am roasting a chicken I'm roasting some garden kale and collard greens and Potatoes and chicken from the store. So it's looking pretty good. So this is what I do and Chicken is seasoned with Italian seasoning blend Paprika and lots of sea salt and then the veggies are Flavored with a little salt a little Onion powder that I just get at Costco and then I love this So sumac is really good and I think it makes it so tasty and I also did a little bit of sumac on the chicken and then Squeeze a couple lemons on there and then I toss the chopped up lemons in the chicken fat To roast with the potatoes in the chicken fat and they're so good. I'm gonna show you when they Yeah, I will show you when the food comes out but I think I need to go Okay, that's gonna be tricky I'm gonna have to get up from her nap to get the food out And then not wake her. I used to all the time vlog while nursing Abraham And I think that's because he was such a constant nurser like he was always nursing. It was the only time that He would stop screeching and head-butting and slamming was when he was nursing, you know soothing because he found it very comforting and She's you know a wild toddler as they all are but not is If this makes sense on the spectrum kind of behavior This fall we're going in for some assessments try and see kind of where his neurodivergence lands and I'm I'm curious about that because I want to know how to parent better. I feel like I struggle with that because I Don't know what my expectations should be of him for self-regulation and can you know control over his impulses and You know development and skill like it's hard for me to know so I want Professional time because I know it's now somewhere there on the spectrum He let death lie and I just want to know so that you know, he can have a better school experience He can have a better parenting experience.
