Cozy Day In The Life Of A Homebody

Hi everyone, I have a very long morning already. It's not even morning. It's like 2 p.m I'm gonna figure out what there is to eat. I made this the other day It's supposed to be like milk infused with jasmine teas. How many tea bags did I put in? I put in like four jasmine tea milk bags. Dude, what am I saying? I put in four jasmine tea bags I honestly don't think that the flavor will be that strong. There's something in the freezer This udon is looking kind of delicious I think i'll just make this garlic chili udon. That sounds good. And it's quick and simple I'm done cooking. Also, I lost my mic. I have no idea where I put it. So excuse the audio I have no idea what I just made. I felt like I was following the recipe For the chili garlic and then I started thinking about like my favorite noodles that I ordered from this one place called Hey Noodles Let me try to recreate that even though I didn't have any of the proper ingredients just kind of started doing Whatever and then I added like a bunch of cilantro on top. At Hey Noodles They always give you a whole bunch of cilantro and I've suddenly become a cilantro girl Especially when it comes to eating spicy food. Let's try the soup first Oh, okay, all I can taste is my chili oil I added more chili oil at the end because I was worried that it wasn't gonna be that spicy But wow, that gave me like a little kick in the back of my throat I think if I had the egg noodles, it would taste a lot more closer to the chinese like chili oil noodles that I get But this is really not that bad. I'm not mad about it. It just has all of like my favorite things in one bowl I found my mic again. Thank god. I'm getting the afternoon evening sleepies. So i'm going to make matcha now There it is I genuinely feel so silly because for the longest time I didn't know that this stick was meant for you to use With the sifter. I just thought that this was used to scoop the matcha out of the bag I feel like i've seen people do that. Maybe you can just use it both ways I don't know. I was making matcha one day and then my boyfriend was like Why don't you use this to like help with sifting the matcha through the sifter? I was like You're onto something. I totally forgot that you can do that Okay, i'm gonna try to make the matcha and have it with my jasmine infused milk I hope that it tastes good The jasmine milk tea that I made is probably not going to be strong enough I've been obsessed with molly tea and that's why i'm on this whole like jasmine tea kick The moment of truth This is my matcha cup. I'm nervous about this I'm already feeling discouraged and I haven't even tried it yet. I gotta have more faith in myself That's what I need to do I mean just based off of the color you can tell it's really infused But what i'm more worried about is just how sweet it will be Because I don't have like vanilla syrup or anything. I have peach syrup I mean, it's definitely stronger than the first time I tried it Honestly, i'm not mad. I'm not mad at all Just a little bit more one more, you know what maybe I should have just added my matcha in here Why didn't I think of that? It's fine. I'm just gonna pour it in here Okay now moment of truth. I feel like I might have made this matcha a little bit too watery today, but that's okay Yeah, I know it's watery when it doesn't completely float to the top, but that's all right Wait, that's actually a lot better than I expected. Wow. Okay. I definitely need to make this again guys the highlight of my day It's so good. Got my cup of matcha and my little kobo More exciting news. I started reading again If you didn't know I haven't read a book for like months now at this point Which is crazy because I feel like during the summertime that's like my peak reading months But this morning I was looking for books to start reading again And a lot of people were talking about lost lands by madeline cash So I decided to give it a go I've literally only read three percent of the book, but I can see why so many people love it The writing style is very fun. And I love that the book isn't super serious. I've been so stressed out So i'm very very excited to dive into this book I want to show you guys this really really cute pr package that I got From half penny postage. So I believe they're a stationery store based in toronto They sent a bunch of these greeting cards that I love. So we've got a happy birthday one Hello little duck. Um Thank you one Congratulations and a wedding one They also gave some letter writing prompts which is super cute and then I also got this very gorgeous stunning Notebook from them. Look at that. It's so pretty inside is just lined I might use this to write down recipes or something I don't know but I have so many notebooks right now that it's hard to imagine starting a new one and I also got This candle that says wishful thinking on it. So cute I actually don't have any candles in our new place Which is crazy because back in my room I had so many tea light candles if you guys remember tea light candles and just regular candles So this is actually our first candle here. So cute smells like vanilla. I love this set Thank you so much to half penny postage for sending me these lovely gifts. I'm very very grateful Okay, now it's time to figure out what to have for dinner i'm thinking for dinner I want to use up some of this pork belly Costco was having like this crazy sale on like their thinly sliced pork belly and my parents gave me a whole bunch as well So we've been trying to use up all of it ever since and it's just so delicious Like i'll honestly never get sick of pork belly the thought of eating pork belly kbbq style while watching love island tonight sounds so fun I'm, so sorry for the dark lighting. Our only source of light is that one lamp over there But i'm so excited to have dinner. Let me show you everything So first up we've got the thai chili sauce. I love this so much. I've made this multiple times at this point We've got my bowl of white rice Then we have all of these toppings to eat the pork belly with so we've got kimchi the pickled garlic And the pickled onions that i've made and then we've got the pork belly this is like One of my favorite dinners of all time. What's even better is that it's 9 p.m Which means it's time for love island. It's literally been my summer show every summer I watch love island usa without fail. I don't really watch uk one. I'm, so excited Okay, let's dig in It's so good I just want to say thank you so much for watching this vlog and for spending the day with me I genuinely missed making these vlogs and I feel like I haven't done one like this in forever And so it feels really nice to be able to just take you guys through my day It's been nice to vlog again after not vlogging for so long and I think being in this new environment definitely Reinvigorates my love for like making content now that I have this space and I really hope you guys enjoyed it I really appreciate all the really nice and thoughtful comments that I received on my last vlog it really Surprises me every single time no matter how many comments I get of people just saying like i've watched you This long for however many years and you've continued to stick around so like that's just so surreal I'm, just so appreciative of everything in my life And i'm so happy to be here and I think for the longest time I felt like I was just kind of falling behind feels nice to know that i'm kind of finding like my footing and Just I don't know just feel happy And I think it's hard for me to have moments where I just feel really happy and not stressed Not being negative about a lot of things and I really have to start looking on the positive side More often than not i'm really happy that you guys are here And I can't wait to film more vlogs like this and take you along with me And let's just take a look at this stunning view together one last time before this vlog ends the nighttime view Stunning.
