We Have Some News...

English weather recently hate to start the vlog on a weather note as classic Brits but it's not been uh giving us much. The weather has not been weathering. It's not been a very good English summer. Um we've come to the woods for a quick walk of our friends so um yeah we're gonna go for a little walk and then when we get back later we'll chat about our trip we've just booked that I'm so excited for. Should update you because every so often we ordered an Indian last night we almost remembered that but there was leftovers in the fridge so that's what we're gonna eat. We've got all this delicious Indian food this is like curries and rice and stuff. Yeah that we um I was about to say what shall I cook shall I cook my it's very boring but I'm going to tell you anyway. I've been eating steak every day. There's a fly in here that's so annoying. I freeze them because I'm eating them every day I can't have like seven fresh steaks in the fridge so I freeze steaks and I have to remember to get one out every day. But I forgot yesterday I was like oh I don't have a steak defrosted and Lucy was like do you want to move on with it? Don't you worry I've got you covered. We're gonna have a boring story. today like it's really weird it's just cold and dark everywhere but I'm kind of excited but I'm also happy that we've got a trip booked in the sun right what should we put in here some oats for cookies can you pour them in just pour a little bit and not all of them just some oh that's perfect darling we're making a lot of cookies today that's perfect does it feel nice hello all right now we're gonna get some butter and some honey and melt them okay it's eating butter on its own does anyone else's child love butter because he'll just eat butter by the gallon if he could would you say gallon it's not really liquid it's butter by the butter by the stick honey what about you want to use them you can do they taste nice I didn't really think raw oats were nice but if you like them that's fine oh this looks good all of our butter and honey all melted pour it in what is that that's butter and honey melted now we're gonna melt some peanut butter well actually it's triple nut butter which is almond butter peanut butter can you mix this do it that's the peanut butter and cashew butter it smells nice does it hello daddy we're making cookies are you no they're for me is it there for me they smell amazing tell daddy what's in them sticky fingers mate oh they smell so good tell daddy what's in it what did you put in it just eating oats on their own that's it good boy introduced coda to the lion king which i never really watched as a kid but it's definitely a childhood movie of lucy's and he likes getting all his toys and animals out of here and we hold them up don't we on them on the bit and do your meerkat he's at such a cute age now oh what is this weather doing this august wouldn't be a juicy vlog if there wasn't a small at least a small coffee section would it wonder how many times i made coffee on the vlog have i even made coffee in this vlog already i don't even know if you haven't guessed we're filming this the next day did i make coffee in the vlog yesterday no idea my memory at the moment seems to last about 15 to 20 minutes so we've got iced coffee going in espresso double espresso this is my iced coffee recipe okay if you want to write this down copy it recreate it at home so you start with ice cubes then you go double espresso and then this bit's crucial milk add as much as desired i don't like it too milky espresso yes coda coda is learning the coffee terms i think he's actually saying espresso no he said espresso you heard me say espresso because this morning no i heard him i heard him when you made your coffee you said i'm gonna add some water now and he went americano so it is a saturday for us right now we've had to do a little bit of work this morning because it didn't work hard enough in the week that's not true we ran out of hours in the week so we've both done a little bit of separate work this morning coda's been watching his movie playing with his toys and today needs to consist i do need to go to the gym i need to try on my suit i have one suit that i own which i bought for my sister's wedding two years ago because on cruises they do formal nights and things like that that is perfect lucy's also can i have this now this banana thing lucy also made lucy also made this little little instagram recipe today it's banana and dark chocolate it's got like four ingredients no sugar other than what's in the little chocolate bits that you use it's good luce no that is nice perfect with a little iced coffee best thing i ever bought that steamer we never ever iron anything and then if we want to wear something which most days we do want to wear something we um we just give it a little steam quickly before putting it on so you don't have like piles and piles of ironing to do i've been buying a few new bits for our cruise coming up this shirt is one of them i'm gonna give it a little whirl today oh i don't know if that goes with the t-shirt hmm i don't know if that goes does that go i might have to wear actual white t-shirt this is like an off-white kind of t-shirt i don't know maybe it's all right maybe i just need to put my chain on what one shall i wear i wear this one a lot that's gonna focus oh yeah this camera's amazing this actually has coder's name on it which i doubt you'll be able to see if you ever see me wearing this in the vlogs it's because it's got got coder's name on it probably can't see that i wear this one now i need some help as well because i'm thinking of getting my first ever tattoo and if you follow me on instagram you may have heard me say that before around i don't know earlier this year when we were in the philippines there was we went to a town called alabang one of our favorite cool little places there found this new coffee shop or new to us which we really liked i never get these on if you're someone who gets these on first time tell me your tricks because it always takes about three goes so we found this cool coffee shop they sold mountain bikes what's that next door i'm getting confused but they also had a tattoo parlor attached to the coffee shop and if you bought a coffee basically you could get a coffee and a tattoo at the same time and they had little books you could flick through some rings on today as well they had some books you could flick through and choose like a tattoo whilst you drink your coffee and i was so tempted at that moment to get my first ever tattoo but the kind of designs maybe the tattoo artist could have done anything but the designs in the book were just random and i kind of i kind of want meaning for my first tattoo i also don't know if i'm going to suit tattoos i've got like i love seeing those guys with like if they're like a muscular build bigger build big arms and they got like tattoos and stuff i've got i think that looks really cool when guys have that but i'm not sure if that's me i'm not i've got quite thin arms and like wrists and stuff quite tall and lanky i'm trying to gain some muscle i'm trying at the end of the day i can't grow bone i can't make myself much bigger um so i don't know if tattoos are gonna suit me on my arms i kind of if i'm getting one i kind of want it visible or at least like up here or i don't know i've no idea but if anyone has any suggestions or maybe you're someone who has recently got your first tattoo and you went for it how was it what did you get why did you get it and then is there anyone who got tattoos like 20 years ago and regrets it i kind of want to hear from you as well yeah you can always get it lasered off but that's like saying i don't know if i'm gonna if i'm gonna do it i want to love it and i think i will it's permanent but it's not permanent because nothing's permanent in life the tattoo will go with me in the end so i don't know i'm purposely don't do that on purpose they're getting pushed look this is the oh my goodness we are slipping and sliding good yes kate oh my god i'm drifting thank god we didn't hit the just got to the show have we said we're going today no this is my dream this is sick so we're at a festival of transport yeah maybe and we're literally like skidding around this muddy field my nanny and grandpa come to shows like this sometimes they've got like a display that they have like an exhibit and it's actually their last one i've got so many childhood memories at these shows and it's their last ever one the fact that we can be here is quite amazing for me and for coach to experience it as well it's really nice it's a nice sunny day it was absolutely horrendous yesterday as you saw but somehow it's cleared up guys it is the next day i think this vlog has gone over maybe three or four days this is kind of more like a weekly vlog but it is the next day it is a bank holiday monday today meaning in the uk pretty much no one works unless you work in a shop or i don't know anywhere that's open we have come to next which is a store that we're hoping to find some clothing mainly for coda might have a look for ourselves as well for our upcoming trip so that is the plan just have my little iced coffee lucy's got like a tea or something she's drinking down there and this is where we've come it's a nicer day today i have to say it is i went to the gym early it was raining so i was like great another day of rain for the english summer but i mean blue skies there clouds clouds elsewhere but yeah let's um let's see if we can find some clothes for this trip get coda some cute new outfits baby what are you looking for in the shop i also forgot to get any shoes for coda is that like me and all we had in the car was his well it's time for the strobing all we had in the car was his wellies so that's why he's wearing wellies honestly i do feel grateful that yeah that's horse poo yuck yuck countryside life mate better get used to it if mommy and daddy's plans come into fruition then we may be living in the countryside oh spoiler alert anyway yeah i feel very grateful that we have this trip coming up a cruise european summer italy i'm thinking pizza i'm thinking ice cream i'm thinking pasta france south of france beautiful walking along french riviera what else we've got spain i'm thinking sunshine tapas it's gonna be a lot of fun and the ship itself just amazing just incredible this time we're not working with any cruise line or company or anything like that it's just something lucy and i wanted to book ourselves and go on so yeah we are vlogging 100 you're not that one but how do how is it coach sweet yeah lucy and i love making cruise vlogs it actually harks back to the very early days of the channel the juice vlog and there's a fun little story i think it's fun anyway the black ones are ready if they're black they're ready the very first time lucy and i ever got any uh like good views high amount of views on youtube we got like 13 000 views and that was the first time that ever happened we refreshed our youtube page at the time 2015 i want to say and or 16 maybe and we had all these views and we're like wow that was a cruise video that was just one of our vacations that we took and made i think just one video and put it on youtube didn't expect anything at the time we were getting maybe three four five hundred views per video but just still we're not what second ever oh yeah it was before we started sorry it was just like a little video for us that we just put on youtube just to kind of keep there that was right before we started actually trying to be youtubers and started actually vlogging that gave us like a bit of oomph i guess a bit of motivation and encouragement that oh wow if we do make videos people might watch them maybe that's our first taste of travel vlogging in a way but we didn't know it at the time anyway what i'm saying is that cruise videos are a lot of fun to make cruises are a lot of fun to go on and we're very much looking forward to it but it does mean we can fully embrace this rain and autumnal weather that we're experiencing right now in the uk fields are pretty overgrown there's no one out here because it's raining but i'm happy to like enjoy this because i know in a week we've got the opposite as well that makes sense i had a sour one sour yeah very sour oh it's so sour it's like a lemon is it really sour can you sing lion king so cute what about breezewalk
