Let's face it, obedience is boring. But we can make it fun. It doesn't have to be commands after commands that lead to nothing. I believe that making training fun is a big component in getting your dog to not only want to train, but to LOVE TO TRAIN.

Simply teaching your dog to heel on your left side is a boring exercise for your dog... I have this game that I teach so my dog will switch from left to right to center and even other imaginable way. In this video I'll give you the basic starting exercises to teach it - and make it fun.

Using treats will give you more repetition with your dog and less down time. I love using toys, but here I will focus the whole training on using treats.

Your dog will understand the overall concept of this exercise very quickly, but to master it will take some time. Be patient and don't rush your dog.
