Welcome to Rhyme with Ray.
Wow!
Ray is a curious girl, always asking questions about the world around her.
One sunny morning, her class got ready for a school trip to the museum in the city of London, Ontario.
Ray was excited, as she loved learning about history, art, and the stories behind old objects.
As the bus drove through the city, Ray looked out the window, admiring the tall buildings and green spaces.
When they arrived at the museum, she couldn't wait to explore.
The museum was huge, with tall walls and big windows that lit in the bright sunlight.
The group of students gathered around their teacher, who gave them a quick briefing.
Remember, the teacher said, there are many different exhibits here, so take your time and explore.
Don't forget to ask questions if you want to know more about something.
Ray's eyes sparkled. She was ready for an adventure.
The first exhibit they visited was a display about the early history of London.
There were old maps and pictures that showed what the city looked like hundreds of years ago.
Ray was amazed by how much had changed.
She raised her hand and asked the tour guide about the people who lived there long ago.
They were the Anishinaabe and Haudenosaunee peoples, the guide explained.
They lived in the area long before settlers arrived.
Ray was fascinated and spent a little extra time reading the information boards, learning about the history of the land.
After that, the group moved on to another exhibit about dinosaurs.
Ray's heart raced as she stood under a giant skeleton of a T-Rex.
The bones were huge, and she could almost imagine what the creature must have looked like when it roamed the earth.
Next, they went to the art section of the museum, where Ray saw beautiful paintings and sculptures.
She was especially drawn to a painting of a quiet river at sunset, with golden light reflecting off the water.
It felt peaceful, and she stood there for a long time, lost in the beauty of the scene.
At the end of the day, Ray felt a little sad to leave, but she was happy to have learned so much.
On the bus ride back, she couldn't stop talking about everything she'd seen in the history, the dinosaurs, and the art.
She knew she would never forget this trip to the City of London's museum.
As they arrived back at school, Ray smiled, already thinking about her next adventure, ready to keep learning and exploring the world around her.
Goodbye!
Wow!
