Hey y'all, this is Troy. I've got a word from the Lord to share with you today that's a little funny.
It's a little humorous. I believe that God has a sense of humor.
And I kind of needed it today after the season me and my wife have been walking through.
And the day I'm filming this, May 15th, Friday, May 15th, and it happens to be my birthday today
too. And so I feel like the Lord has kind of given me some relief, you know, in giving me
something that just seems a little silly and a little funny. But I'm going to go ahead and get
into this. And then I also got some direction on what the Lord asked me to share from scripture as
well. We're going to get into that. But I'm going to pray first. Holy Spirit, I just thank you for
your presence. I thank you for your word, Lord. I thank you for the gift of prophecy, Lord, but
not that any of us as humans are perfect, but you are, God, Jesus, you are perfect.
Holy Spirit, you are perfect. And we just ask for your help today to be able to hear the words
you're truly saying, but interpret these words correctly, Lord, and put them on the shelf if we
need to, and to accept what's from you, to reject anything that's not, Lord. And I just thank you for
your help every single day, Lord, that we'd be walking according to your word, walking according
to your spirit and your voice. Jesus, you said, my sheep, hear my voice. And we want to be led by you,
the Good Shepherd. We don't want to be led by selfish ambition or greed or any other voices or
the pressures that people put on us. We want to be led by you. And we love you, Jesus. And we just
thank you for dying for us. We thank you that you lived a perfect life. We thank you, Father, that you
didn't leave us alone in our sin, but you came to get us and rescue us. And Lord, I just ask if there's
anyone that watches this video that doesn't know you personally, that they would have a revelation
of the goodness of God and the grace of God and the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross through the
power of the Holy Spirit today, that they would come to the knowledge of the truth and that they
would know you personally through belief in what Jesus did. Thank you, Lord. In Jesus' name.
This is what I heard, y'all, May 3rd. Very funny. The Lord talked to me about
Zaxby's Chicken. It's a restaurant. It's a fast food chicken chain. And I know there's
probably more Christians watching this than not. So everybody here obviously eats at Chick-fil-A,
not Zaxby's. No, I'm just kidding. That's a joke. Everybody calls it God's Chicken,
I think. But anyways, this is what I heard. All joking aside now, it is my birthday. You
got to give me some grace. I heard the Lord say a radical change, a title change, and just the
impression I got was not necessarily going to be the title of the company or the restaurant.
It could be that, but not necessarily that, but more this is going to play out in another way,
and we're going to be able to see that. Then I heard Zaxby's Delicious Chicken. I told you,
y'all, it's funny and silly. Also, before I finish the rest of this, for those that are
new to this channel, I don't just throw stuff out here, whether it be silly or serious or
in the middle. I don't just throw stuff out here and hope that it sticks. These are words that I
truly believe that I heard from the Lord during times of prayer and worship. Oftentimes, the
presence of God will come over me when I hear words like this, and the Lord will begin to speak
to me in my spirit. Sometimes I get visions and dreams as well, and sometimes it's louder than
others, but we follow up on these words and we stay accountable to them. If you go to
TroyBlackVideos.com, you'll see the archive where we actually follow up on the words that I share
and the predictive words I share publicly, and we show the results of those. There's over 100
fulfilled prophecies there, and you can go do the research for yourself and see the evidence for
yourself, the links and the results, everything that took place, and how accurate they were
yourself. But I highly encourage you to do that and to pray into every single prophecy before,
don't just accept something because somebody says God said, but instead, you need to pray into it
and test it, and if it's not good fruit, just put it in the wastebasket, right? Only go with what's
truly from the Lord. But this is what I heard that I'm sharing and submitting. I heard,
an interesting chain of events is coming, a radical shift, a mix-up. Then I heard someone
high up involved who will essentially tell them to make it wrong, to put a plug in the production
value of the restaurant and call it by a different name. Then I heard the chosen view will stand up
to them and shout it out from the rooftop and say, we liked it the way that it was,
what on earth are you doing? Strange, right? It's strange. And then I heard strange things
are happening. God obviously has a sense of humor, right? And then I heard the Lord asked me
to ask them why, right? Ask them why. Why would I, to ask that question, why would God be talking
about this, right? And then I heard, I will show you why, and you're not going to like the reason.
Something sinister and conniving is at play here. A strange concoction is brewing. Then I heard
something strange is happening at Zaxby's and a few of the others. And then I heard this phrase,
and I don't know what it means, but I heard fried chicken shouldn't taste this good, but it actually
does. I don't know what that is. And then I heard Zaxby's, a world of hurt, they are in for it,
a time of confusion, a string of events. Okay, I don't claim to know exactly what the interpretation
is for that. I'm just submitting it as a word of knowledge. You're going to have to wait and see
what plays out after the fact. But I felt led to ask this question, have you ever been in that
place, and this is what the Lord gave me to share as a spiritual encouragement, have you ever been
in that place where, and again, going towards the humor side, you had a favorite restaurant or a
favorite food product or whatever, and all of a sudden they change the recipe, right? Or they
change the direction of the quality, and you're like, what happened? It was so good before,
now it's not. And I remember going to Olive Garden when I was a kid and thinking, man, this
mac and cheese is so good, and then I went back as an adult, like once or twice, and I was like,
this is not good, right? And maybe that was just me, you know, changing my preferences.
But having that experience, and this is what I just sense the Holy Spirit saying, you know,
is this idea of the Lord saying, I want my people to be very wary of when a minister starts getting
off track and going the wrong direction. And I hear the Lord saying, yes, it does happen.
There are some that start on point, and they start in the right place where I've landed them,
where I've designed them to be and positioned them. And then they begin to get off track when
they see the money, when they see the signals from their friends, when they get pressure from
other ministers to do things a certain way, or things you shouldn't say, things you shouldn't
do from the platform. And the Lord's saying, when I've called them to do something else,
yet they're unwilling because of the trappings and the worldly desires that come into play
at times. And the Lord's not talking about everybody here, but He is making an appeal to
us as believers and as the body to test the ministers that are ministering, to test the,
there is absolutely nothing wrong with that. And I hear the Lord saying, I want to push back
against the lack of balance within the honor culture community that we've been witnessing.
That's what I'm hearing the Lord saying, because it isn't good. And some people have gone so far
as to say, if you test the minister of God and even put them to the test, that you're in the
wrong and you're sinning. And I hear the Lord saying, that is not the case. That isn't the case,
because I've put a lot of tests into my word, is what I hear the Lord saying. And I've raised a
very high standard for those that are ministering from a platform, for those that have great
influence over the body of Christ. There's a very high standard there. Now, that does not mean people,
now, this is me speaking, right? That does not mean, but that's the word I'm hearing from the
Lord today, and I believe that we need to pray into that, right? That does not mean that we
don't show grace to people when they make mistakes, right? And that doesn't mean that we just
have a distrust for everybody. But I believe there's a balanced position that we can have,
where, you know, taking just prophecy itself, for example, y'all hear me share that 1 Thessalonians
5 all the time, you know, where it says to test prophecy and the whole facet of that, which is
good, reject every form of evil, we ought to put it to the test, right? Same thing with teaching.
We shouldn't just receive something just because, like, somebody said it from a platform. Well,
they're the anointed minister of God, I can't touch God's anointed, so I'm not going to even
question what they said. That's not true godly discernment and wisdom. That's not what we as
the body are called to do, right? And so, we need to be willing to weigh things against the
scripture and against what the Holy Spirit is showing us. So, I want to pull this up because
I believe this is very helpful for those of us who are facing this today, this trial, right,
or this test of what do I do when it feels like they were on point and then they start going off
in a weird direction. Sometimes it's just God is calling out to them and leading them back,
and other times it's God is saying, no, they don't need to be in that same place of influence
because they're not turning around, you know, and every single situation is different.
This is Isaiah 10, 1-2. It says,
10 "...woe to those who make unjust laws, to those who issue oppressive decrees,
to deprive the poor of their rights and withhold justice from the oppressed of my people,
making widows their prey, and robbing the fatherless."
This is a prophetic warning in Isaiah to the leaders of Israel at that time, and Judah,
the nations of God's people, right? But this still applies spiritually speaking,
physically as well, right? If somebody's a Christian and they are in a place of leadership
in some other way, but especially to spiritual leaders, it applies spiritually speaking.
If there is a person who is depriving the poor of their rights, right, in the sense that they are
using their platform to manipulate people's giving or to manipulate whatever, you know,
the way that somebody lives their life and to an extent they should not be, right, or
they are ignoring some of the abuses that have taken place, they're ignoring some of the
manipulation, or they're, you know, they're patting the case against those that don't have
the platform. Whatever it may be, you know, this same thing can apply today, and we need to be very
careful of that. And the Lord is saying, woe to those who do that, right? Like, this is not a
healthy place to be. And let's look at what Jesus says, Matthew 18. So He separates the difference
between a Christian who's walking in humility and a Christian who's not, who's walking in pride.
And He says, He's talking about the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. He says,
He called a little child to Him and placed the child among them, and He said,
He's saying there should never be a time when you're operating in the kingdom of God where
you become unchildlike, especially in your faith, especially in our humility as we stand before the
Lord. Lord, I don't know what I'm doing. Apart from You, I can do nothing. Like, this is not my
decision to make. It's not even my judgment call to make. It's Yours. Paul the Apostle said,
I don't even judge myself, but God is my judge. And he was setting aside his own intelligence.
Now, God uses our intelligence, God uses our discernment, God uses our ability to reason,
He uses the facts, absolutely. But when it comes to what's happening in our hearts,
are we setting ourself up as the justifier or the judge, or are we allowing God to lead us
through and through? And if it's us at the top, and God is taking orders from us,
we're going to be like those that the word in Isaiah 10 was warning about. We're going to
become like them. It's got to be God at the chain of command, right? And us taking orders from Him,
us saying, Yes, Lord, what do you want me to do? How do you want me to respond? And this is,
verse 4, it says, Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in
the kingdom of heaven. Sometimes it's just saying, being willing to say, Lord, I got it wrong,
and I need your help, right? I was wrong, and I'm not going to pretend like it wasn't, right?
And then verse 5 says, And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. You know,
I had a minister tell me one time that as soon as they said something from the platform, a pastor
say, as soon as I say it from the platform, it has to become like gospel. And they couldn't
retract after that. They're like, so I have to be very careful about what I say. And I'm like,
well, we need to be careful about what we say, but my thought was, but it shouldn't become like
gospel just because you said it from the platform. Like, I know it's embarrassing to have to say,
I made a mistake theologically, or I made a mistake practically, whatever, or even prophetically,
right? If you've made a mistake, own up to it, right? Like, that is the new covenant way
to address that situation. But if we stay in a place of humility, it's going to be so much better,
so much easier to do that. If we don't, we're going to get to the point where we're like,
well, I said it, now I have to stand behind it, right? And it says, whoever welcomes one such
child in my name welcomes me. And unfortunately, a lot of the times, you know, he was making a
contrast here. He's saying, who do people welcome? Who do people invite to their homes? Well, it was
the religious top notch, right? It was the best of the best. Like, they were the ones that people
were moving out of the way for in the streets. Like, oh, you know, you go first, you know? But
the children got ignored. Jesus was making a very strong point here. You know, he's saying the
kingdom of God is opposite of what the kingdom of man is like. But then he gives this warning,
very similar to Isaiah 10. He says, if anyone causes one of these little ones, those who believe
in me to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and
be drowned in the depths of the sea. And I'm like, Lord, I don't want to read that. I wish that wasn't
in the scripture. Like, that's just my flesh speaking. But it's true, and it's there. Jesus
said it, right? And we need to be very cautious. Who's he talking about, one of these little ones?
That could literally refer to anyone in the kingdom. Now, I believe he had young people
standing around him there, and he was probably gesturing to one of them, right? But so we need
to be very cautious. But spiritually speaking, there is a warning that the scripture gives to
those who are in places of leadership. It says teachers will be held to a higher standard,
and I honestly believe with that should come a greater level of humility, not a lesser level
of humility because there's a high standard, and when we're not hitting the standard, we just need
to be honest with God and honest with others, whatever way the Lord leads us to. Just say, hey,
this corrected my theology, I'm going to change. Or, you know, or my behavior was wrong, and I'm
going to change, and I'm going to repent. And that's what Jesus talked about, like, living a life in
keeping with repentance. Like, we are going to have to keep repenting. You know, the word says if
anyone says that they have no sin, they're a liar, right? Like, we're going to have to keep
repenting. And that's not ruining our salvation or something like that, it's not a salvation issue
at that point. Now, we can get into the theological weeds about it if someone remains in unrepentant
sin for a long period of time, and it's like, we can get into the weeds, but I honestly believe
that's not a salvation issue when he's talking about a practical lifestyle issue, right? And we
see the heavy weight, you know, for lack of a better term, right here when it comes to, you know,
people that don't make that decision to repent. Revelation 2-4, this is what Jesus says.
Now, the second part of this is, you know, he is warning the church in Ephesus.
He is saying, you know, you have forsaken the love you had at first, you've left your first love.
He's saying he does have something against them, but he also is praising them, essentially, you know,
for lack of a better term, not the same way you would praise God, but using that term in the
sense of, he's acknowledging what they did right, right? And he's saying, I know your deeds,
your hard work, and your perseverance. I know that you cannot tolerate wicked people. So here's the
thing. The temptation is to say, no, it's not up to us, we're not going to say anything about it,
we'll just let them do whatever they want to do. God's going to make this right in time,
we don't have to address it. But what does Jesus say? He says, I know that you cannot tolerate
wicked people, and he actually affirms the fact that they're not tolerating wicked people.
So, we as the church, when Jesus speaks into how we're responding to wickedness in the pulpit or
wickedness, you know, in the church leadership or something like that, and I'm not saying every
accusation that's out there is true, that's not what I'm saying, but when it's truly there,
Jesus' response is, you shouldn't tolerate wicked people. That's literally his response
here in scripture. It says, that you have tested those, do you see that? You have tested those.
So it's okay to test the leadership. It's okay to test what they're preaching, what they're saying.
You have tested those who claim to be apostles but are not, and have found them false. And so
he's not just saying that they were testing them, he's saying they came to a conclusion.
And they said, these fake apostles, they're false. That was the conclusion. He said, you have
persevered and have endured hardships for my name and have not grown weary. Now, it does come with
the warning, you forsaking your first love. So if we've done that, we need to come back,
come back to our first love, which is Christ, it's intimacy with him, it's pursuing him, it's walking
in the love of Christ, being changed by his love, it's abiding in his love. And so we could do all
of this from a spirit of offense and a spirit of anger or something like that, and that wouldn't
be right. Now, it would still be right to test them, you know, and people that truly are false
to find the false right. But then Jesus would have this to say to us, right? I have this against you,
you've forsaken the love you had at first. But when we do this at the right time in the right
way, at the leading of the Holy Spirit, carrying the love of Christ, we're gonna be walking in
purity as the body. We're gonna be in a healthy place, in a place of strength. And this is what
the impression I got from the Holy Spirit earlier today, was that there is a growing up that needs
to happen for some of us in the body, but we're growing up to where we're willing to do and say
the heart dangs when it's necessary, but also we cannot lose the love that we started with at the
same time. It's not a growing into bitterness, it's not a growing into a place of offense,
it's a growing into a place of maturity, where we're walking in grace and truth, truth and love.
The love of Christ controls us, the Word says. It changes us, it transforms our hearts,
it causes us to look at those who are being hurt by the wicked who are false, who are in a place
of authority. It causes us to look at those who are being hurt and to feel the love and the
compassion of Christ for them, and say, I have to do this for your sake, because you're worth it.
You're worth it to Him, and so you're worth it to me. And this is Isaiah 42, so here's the good
news, okay? Here is the positive end, the positive side, is at the end of the day, we are not the
judges, and we cannot bring justice to every situation. We can't. As hard as we want to try,
and that's where, I think that's sometimes where we lose the love, we get into a place of bitterness
when we're trying to do this, we're trying to test, we're trying to make sure everybody's
walking in the right place, and yet we lose our love because we can't do it. We can strive,
we can work as hard as we can. All we have to do is what the Holy Spirit is leading us to do.
I just hear the Lord saying that, that's all I've called you to do. What have I led you to do?
That's it. You don't have to take on more or a greater burden than what I've asked of you,
but I want you to stay in a place of love while you're walking in truth, and while you're holding
up my leaders to a high standard, and that means being willing to forgive them when necessary.
That means being willing to stay out of a place of offense and unforgiveness and bitterness.
The Lord's going to help us, His Spirit is here, He's going to help us. But here's the good news,
is that Jesus is ultimately the one that's going to bring justice in the end. We can only do what
the Lord leads us to do, but God does not miss anything. And how did He do that? How did He bring
justice? Well, this is where the love comes back in, I believe, for many of us. If we are in a
place of offense or unforgiveness or bitterness against somebody that maybe they truly did do
wrong, but the love of Christ controls us, and it gives us the ability to say, I forgive you. I'm
not going to hold that against you. I'm not going to drag you through the mud. I'm only going to do
what the Lord leads me to do. Yes, I'm going to speak the truth. Yes, I'm going to hold you to
the highest standard. I'm going to speak the truth in love, but I'm not going to try to get even.
I'm not going to try to get revenge. Why is that? It's because when I was not justified,
Jesus came and He died for me, and I was only justified by His sacrifice. God gave me what I
didn't deserve, so I'm going to give you what you don't deserve, and I'm not going to be the one to
bring justice. This is what Jesus did. Here is my servant, Isaiah 42, whom I uphold, my chosen one,
and whom I delight. I will put my spirit on Him, and He will bring justice to the nations.
He will not shout or cry out or raise His voice in the streets. See, this is the way that we often
want to do things, but it's not what Jesus did. A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering
wick He will not snuff out. I'm not saying that He never did it. There was that one time, right,
where the couple times where He literally turned the tables over in the temple, right? So He was
being obedient to the Holy Spirit no matter what, but most of the justice that came out of His life
and His ministry was the change that happens in an individual and a society when the gospel is
sown, when the gospel is preached. That's what I believe this verse is describing. A bruised reed
He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not snuff out. In faithfulness He will bring forth
justice. He will not falter or be discouraged till He establishes justice on earth. In His teaching,
the islands will put their hope. He establishes justice on the earth, and in His teaching,
the islands will put their hope. What is that teaching? It is, you know, Jesus said,
a new commandment I give you, love one another. And He taught us how to love by loving us first.
The word says we love because He first loved us. When we look at what He did for us on the cross
and how He justified us when we didn't deserve it through His grace and through His own blood,
it changes us, and it doesn't make us want others to get what they deserve. Instead,
it makes us want to share the same redemptive story that we received. We want to see them
share in that. We want to see them forgiven. We want to see them walking in the truth. We
want to see them receive the grace of God and the love of Christ the same way. That's God's
heart for all of us. That's what He wants for every single individual. And that's a humbling
thing to realize, that without His blood, without His grace, I'm in the same place.
If somebody truly is false, if they truly are leading people astray, I was in the same place
without His grace, and I needed His grace just as much as they do. So Lord, save them. Lord,
change them. Lord, turn them around. Help them. Whatever you ask me to do, I'm willing to do it.
So I hope this has been encouraging today. Obviously, it started out a little funnier
than it finished, but I love y'all. Thank you so much for all the support, all the love,
all the help. Y'all are awesome, and I hope you have a wonderful rest of your day.
I'll see you next time.
