Miley Cyrus Relives Being DUMPED by Nick Jonas: 'NILEY for Life!'

Nick Jonas dumped me. He's a dick. He's a b****. Nick's still catching strays today. He's catching the b****. It never goes exactly how I think it's going to, but somehow it always ends up being better. Miley Cyrus taking a walk down memory lane and giving a play-by-play of her painful breakup with Nick Jonas nearly 20 years later. It was tough. You know, it was really tough. The Disney stars dated in secret for about two years, starting in 2006. They were just 13 at the time. Being with the Jonas Brothers, we've been friends for a while, so it is, you know, we're getting really close. Just getting ready for tour. That tour was Miley's best of both worlds tour as herself and Hannah Montana. The JoBros opened for her in more than 70 cities. Their split happened on the road toward the end of 2007. She explained the aftermath Thursday on the Every Single Album podcast. I was distraught. I remember my big sister. I was in my bed sobbing, and she came in. She's like, um, 25,000 people are waiting for you to pull your s*** together. The place goes crazy. The Jonas Brothers are going to walk right onto the stage. That was part of the reason why we were breaking up, because he was going to go do his own tour. He was, like, separating himself from the Disney thing, and I wanted him to take me with him on the tour. I was like, why can't we do it together? And so I had this idea of, like, I don't understand why you're leaving me. But the thing about heartbreak, it makes for great music. Miley and Nick were both inspired by their first love, writing hits like Seven Things... The seven things I hate about you! ...and Love Bug. I never thought that I'd catch this love bug again. Now I'm speechless, over the edge and just breathless. Wow, you're pretty. When he met Miley, I think that kid's head exploded. I started writing about love, and I actually knew what it felt like. Today, Miley seems happier than ever with her longtime love, Max Mirando. Her new pop opera, Something Beautiful, premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York Friday. Being here in Jersey to celebrate this 20-year anniversary kickoff is surreal. Nick's tour with his brothers kicks off in August and wraps in November, a couple weeks before he and wife Priyanka Chopra celebrate their seven-year wedding anniversary. It was kind of an instant thing. I knew once we locked in together that I had a partner for life and a teammate someone I can walk to the good times and the bad times with. My life is very good. I'm blushing now. I like Nick. I'm into him. He's, like, married with children. We're all moving on. Everything is good in the world. Miley for life.
