We're talking three hours and 10 minutes into the race.
Them guys are on it.
That's awesome.
This is going to be a race to the finish line.
It's only a kilometer or two.
And they both want that podium spot.
But they're both so tired at the same time.
You can see the body language, man.
That's Tristan Hart.
He's got an issue with his back.
Mechanical, and you hate to see this.
I mean, for so long, Tristan Hart was right back and forth,
second and third place, back and forth with Billy Bolt.
Started to lose a little ground, and then
Bolt started to lose a little ground on Lettenbichler.
Man, we've got a full-on motor race to the finish.
Teo's back in front.
We haven't seen this in a while, and you
love to see this as they enter back into the amphitheater.
And this is for the podium spot, so they're
going to be going at it.
That's how badly Teo wants this podium spot.
I don't think Mitch is going to give up motocross style here
at Jensburg.
Either way, we're going to have a new face on the podium
between these two for third place here in 2025.
Look at the speed in trying to figure out where
a pass could take place.
Teo, quick look back.
He knows that Mitch is coming.
And then so much talk about Breitmoor and his push,
but also Teo, we were talking about earlier in the broadcast,
what he displayed at Romaniacs last year,
and then just the hunger, getting
that boost in your sails, getting
the factory backing.
He's here to stay.
Oh, yeah, it's a massive difference.
Once you know you have the factory behind you,
you know when people believe in you,
it's like you just shift another gear.
So it shows.
A little Sherco backing, not a bad thing.
Super close to the arena now.
There's not much time left for Mitch to make the pass.
It doesn't look like they're going fast, hey,
but they're going prologue speed right now, which is awesome.
We saw some wicked wipeouts during prologue.
It's a little deceiving, just those flat roads.
Definitely some booby traps.
Oh, yeah, and they're going the opposite direction.
So the bumps are weird.
Quick look back.
His motor, man.
His motor is on.
Quick look back by Kovacic doing a little check.
But Breitmoor, hot on his tail, trying to reel it in.
Might be too little too late.
And he built a little gap, I think.
Teo built a little gap in the last couple.
Yeah, I think he stretched it out a little bit.
I think he's got it.
Anything that's going to stop him now is a little wrong turn.
Oh, no, no, no, no, no.
My words weren't called.
That's, oh, man, that is, hmm.
Let's see if that going around the marker there was allowed.
Panic setting in.
Yeah, I think it's going to be OK.
Like, as long as he didn't gain any advantage,
and he obviously lost time, so it's all good.
See, Tad, he said it's OK.
I mean, you know, it's not me to judge,
but I would believe that.
You know, it's like getting off track on the motor track.
Like, if you didn't get any time, like, hey, it's a.
No, I think it's all good.
I think Teo got a bit of a frat there.
He was like, you almost lost the podium spot there.
Man, actually, Mitch had it.
Like, Teo just throw that pass on top of the, right
before the arch, right?
Not over, over.
Still a little bit of time, but you can see,
just making up that distance.
And when Teo is just completely pinning it right now.
But they motor.
I love it.
Well, that's.
We three hours and a quarter in.
Think, think how tired, think how tired mentally
and physically at this point.
Man, all they all they can think of is that podium.
Like, you don't feel pain anymore.
Exactly.
OK, so they're going to drop in now.
Oh, this is.
Oh, yeah.
Looks like it's down.
It's so close.
Hey, Kravachev.
Just feet ahead.
Official.
Third and four.
Kravachev, his first podium finish.
Red Bull Erzberg Rodeo.
And the body language.
Brightmore, just out of the.
Mitch, I know that the first emotion
as you came over the line there was frustration.
But you've improved on that seventh place
from last year with the fourth.
How difficult a pill is it to swallow,
to have lost out by so little?
To be honest, I didn't really know where I was in the race.
I was just chugging on.
I pushed super hard from the start.
Super happy with my bike.
The fitness I've got, it's unreal.
Happy with the team.
And yeah, the bike, the bike's working great.
So, yeah, no complaints.
But how tight was it at the end there with Teo?
It was cat and mouse, wasn't it?
Yeah, literally, since probably Dynamite,
it was just crazy, you know?
Back and forth.
I passed him in Lazy Noon.
And then I come out onto the top
and there was one last hill.
And I fucked it up, basically.
And yeah, he got past me.
And then racing back on the roads,
he sort of went left and you meant to go right.
And I nearly got him again.
But I had to sort of squish a bump
and lost all my speed.
And then, yeah, it was cat and mouse
pretty much to the finish.
There was one of those steep descents
we saw you dive into.
And both Billy and Manny had taken it
very steadily down there.
Because of the pressure between you and Teo,
you charged into it.
It looked lethal.
Yeah, you know, two guys pushing.
When you know there's a podium position on the line,
you know, you do what you can to get it.
But yeah, I'm happy with where I finished at.
I progressed on my last year's result
and happy with how I performed.
Fantastic.
Congratulations, Mitch.
Thank you.
Thanks, Ed.
