Sir Edward Elgar - Minuet. Alexander Mark Rossi - Paintings.

Elgar originally composed this charming little tune as a piece for piano in 1897, he produced the orchestral version you hear here the following year.
It is played in this recording by the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra, conducted by James Judd.
The paintings are by the British artist, Alexander Mark Rossi. Rossi would often use members of his own family as his models.
